I want to thank you for all your videos, my husband has been going through WC hell for over 1 1/2 years now and we thought we were at the finish line with a hearing, but then the ins comp's attorney canceled the hearing, so we are and have been waiting for another hearing, meanwhile no income coming in from the insurance company (I call it the "starvation period" which we have been through twice now, before the 180 days and now after the 180 days -- impartial med rept situation). I wish we lived in NY so you could help (we do have an atty). You are down to earth and seem like you actually answer your clients when they have questions. Keep the videos coming, they are getting me through!
@@workerscompnewyork whats funny is many years ago one of the guys where I work was out on Workers comp and he got called in and threatened with fraud charges, They had an investigator who took pictures of him working on his roof. ...turned out the investigator took pictures of his brother as he wasnt even in town and he had the receipts to prove it wasnt him. His brother did look like him but had less hair, so unless they thought he grew hair over night it was pretty clear it wasnt the same guy.
Hello, I was wondering can surveillance be used for an employee's standpoint? In my case, the employer is dodging all attempts of communication. He doesn't have workers comp insurance and cant be found

And my understanding is that he needs to be served , in order for my case involving the uninsured employer's fund to be successful

When do they actually start investigating you ? Is there a time frame ?
