Overcoming Body Dysmorphia - Our Story
Body Dysmorphia is a condition that a growing number of people in the gym sphere are dealing with on a day to day basis. Pinhcing their skin, checking themselves in the mirror, and unfortunately it is sometimes a short jump to extremeley disordered relationships with food. In todays ep we are sharing what we have experienced with this condition, and our ways to ease the burden.

This is a brilliant episode. I think we all hold demons inside which will be triggered over different periods of our lives. I think aspirations can easily turn in to something else really quickly but it's important to talk. Friend, family etc. Let them know how your feeling. Thank you for talking about this I suffer with this and I have been trying to get over it for a long time i am 5’3 120lbs but in my head im not. It has helped me to follow workout programs so I don’t over work out.
Girl I totally get it! I am 5’4 125. But sometimes I totally see myself differently. I’m just trying to enjoy the body I have and find balance in all things. You are beautiful! ❤
Bodybuilding definitely ruined my self image especially the post reverse process seeing yourself becoming softer as ur gaining weight and recovering is soo hard mentally cause u become so used to seeing yourself soo lean and shredded

I’m French, how can you not know goats cheese 😂. I’m intolerant to cows milk, so I eat solely goat and sheep cheese, we have huge amounts of variety of these cheeses here in france

Women would want sex more if the sex was better. Women don't want bad sex. Take the time to learn to be a good lover and you will never lack for sex.
This is what happens when u make gym your whole personality. I hit the gym to achieve my ideal physique even on days i look bad o still hit the gym cuz thats the point

Lucy you're honestly amazing! I had the EXACT same thing after being on contraception long term- no one ever tells you how periods can take so long to return and how different they can be! The murderous thoughts and feelings are a real thing and it's so so so so so horrible feeling like that and not knowing how to make it better 😫😫😫

Imagine you are a poor pakistani man. Not lucky at all in any way shape or form. You face an immense struggle trying to migrate from your failed country to europe or the US, facing many dangers in the process, in hopes of having a better life. You eventually arrive to the country of your dreams and you meet some local resident. You start to have a chat about your life experiences. You tell him your life experiences and then he hits you with the "oh yeah, ive been feeling hella depressed recently because i have acne" Is this for real?
Privileged 1st world, top 1% genetics man with very high income and fame complains about feeling sad. What a world.

Thanks for your openness on this subject Ben. Here in the Czech Republic therapists are free during studies, I'm not sure how it is in other countries, I have already visited one and I definitely recommend to take advantage of this service.
