Relegating themselves to a passive role forces women to rely on men to protect them from sexual assault. If you aren't willing to dress demurely, avoid wild parties, avoid dangerous parts of town, avoid consuming too much alcohol and drugs, then you pretty much just have to take whatever life sends your way on the chin...and blame everyone around you.

Amazon has preferential treatment for women owned businesses. the school I attended has special scholarships for women. women are eligible for no bid contracts that men are not eligible for. google has a women's startup accelerator. women can join the police, the military or firefighting with lowered standards. women in the aggregate are net tax recipients, men are net tax payers. men are forced to serve in the selective service in order to vote, but women are exempt from the draft. there are a lot more men than women who are homeless but there is no effort to equalize that. the average man pays anywhere between 25 to 65 percent of his income to pay for social entitlements, which is more than serfs were made to pay during feudalism. Social security and medicare are insanely bad investments for men both because men pay more in taxes and don't live as long. women complain about the pay gap but fail to note that men are much more likely to be injured on the job. As a man I experienced sexual harassment in the workplace. As a 24 year old recent University graduate I accept a job at a bank. My 55 year old recently divorced female boss really enjoyed our exclusive meetings and her ham handed flirtations. I lost that job when I refused to attend a “meeting” outside of work, at her home on Saturday where she suggested a few drinks. By turning her down I apparently didn’t display the appropriate amount of “initiative”, although until that point my reviews had been superlative. I was let go at the end of the probationary period. Had I been female and my boss male there would have been a number of options available to me, but alas my “white male privilege” was not enough to keep me from losing my job.

Lived experience is just a synonym for convenient anecdote. It doesn’t mean anything in any objective, empirical sense. Any first year student should know just how useful anecdotes are to rational debate and empirical scientific method, which is to say, not at all unless that anecdote is backed up by significant factual evidence to support its assertions.

I'm an Indian physicain and the current news cycle here is covering a story about the rape and murder of a doctor in a medical university. It's absolutely abhorrent and never should've happened. Lock away the perpetrators and throw away the keys, I say. But as I scroll social media all I can see is just blame squarely placed on men as a whole. Apparently all men are complicit in the act of the depraved few that commit heinous acts of violence. All that being said, I'm still willing to intervene whenever and wherever I can because that's the right thing to do. But to systemically eradicate sexual violence altogether? It's a pipe dream. A condition of human existence. A more pragmatic approach would be to play it safe and avoid situations leading to these things in the first place and to lean more into stricter punishments for perpetrators and make an example out of them.

The shaming and hatred of men has become so normalised that hateful bitter women can literally make a career out of it, very disturbing.

Funny, when, during one of the many times I tried to defend a woman's honor, I ended up with a bloodied face, surrounded by men who wished to brutally harm me for standing up for the woman, I never heard a thank you. I never got an apology for the beating I took for her honor. I got a life-long enemy and the pleasant necessity to look over my shoulder for retribution. Yup, men are the problem. We learn from our mistakes, and we quit putting our necks on the line for women who don't appreciate nor deserve it. Aside from my wife and daughter, most women in most scenarios will get nothing from me but an acknowledgement that they are getting what they asked for.

I lost my career because a jealous coworker and manager wanted me to quit, so I was falsely accused. Lost my job the same day as I was made aware that there had been false accusations against me. I was not afforded to know, let alone face my accuser.

I remember a young 14 yo friend, in the 1960s, who got angry because she did not get enough attention while walking down the street. She said "I feel like going out in the street and dropping my pants." She said this in front of her older sister and me. Her anger really shocked me.

Women need to address all misbehaviors of women, including abuse and sexually predatory behavior. Instead I get mobbed by the whole coven when I object to being touched in a private manner by a woman. The same coven feel entitled to accuse me of intending bad things for being male. They deny me basic human rights both by invading my personal integrity and by denying me the rights to be innocent until proven guilty, and not to be accused on account of a.o. my sex. In other words, they treat me as not human. I am at the point of applying equal treatment. Women as a group are not human. Individuals who have proven to not be violators of human rights are returned to the fold. Am I a threat now?
