This has been going on for decades already. I was able to get a $1000 computer science scholarship in 1993 with a 4.0 average, while they were giving women $15,000 fellowships for a 2.0 average. Fast forward 20 years where I was falsely accused by my spouse and jailed, while she used the time I was held to clean out our bank accounts and abduct my child ... who she later abandoned. Same woman now owes me years of child support and never paid a dime. Authorities do ... nothing. I decided to leave the West entirely due to the misandry inherent in every Western institution. I don't hate women. I am very happily married to traditional Eastern woman and have a daughter. The problem is Western culture, enabled by the media, government, academia and legal system.
Some time ago, some men wanted to march in solidarity with women at a Take Back the Night event. They were denied. When asked what they thought would indicate women have come far enough an attendee said; that maybe when men needed an event like that; it would mean they had come far enough. I don't know what she hated more. Men, or their own gender.
There’s a reason men take such abuse, we’re taught to not complain and just be a man. Being a man means not complaining about our troubles. Being a man means putting women’s needs and the needs of family, friends and country first. Complaining is not a manly thing to do and pointing fingers is not something real men do. I know a lot of non-feminist women that do the same. Practical and pragmatic women that care more about helping others than they do about academic indoctrinations and self-interest. Janice here is one of those women.

Some years ago, I had a brief conversation with a woman, in which I stated that men may own everything (not true, of course, but positing it for the sake of the discussion) but that women owned men, that they were the be-all and end-all for most men, including gay men. She responded with a story about being the sole female at a conference and how every one of the men there would compete for the slightest bit of attention from her and how she was the center of their attention at all times.
I don't think feminists feel anger and hatred against men as much as contempt in their narcissistic viewpoint of their own superiority. Moreover gynocentrism makes them long wistfully for the days when matriarchy was the organizing force of all wandering bands throughout the paleolithic era

Misandry is very pervasive. It let me to leave the West for a less developed nation where at least men are treated equal.
