He was not guilty and their fabrication of evidence and perjury is disgusting.
They need to be charged with perjury.
It’s interesting how they want “equality” but they seem to want “special treatment”.

They want "equality", apart from in education, the workplace, positions of power and the arts (where they expect positive discrimination), sports (where they expect total gender segregation (apart from when they don't want it)), the whole legal system where they expect lesser sentences for the same crime or preferably when a woman does it, it's not considered a crime), divorce courts, family courts, military service etc etc.
It's hard to know where, exactly they DO want "equality".

I've personally been told by a female coworker - whom imagines herself a champion of equality - say, "You can't be sexist against men, and you can't be racist against white men." In my female-dominated work-place, days rarely go by when I don't hear female coworkers blaming men as a whole for their personal problems.
I've also been framed and fired for harassment, in just the way described by this video. Except I hadn't even slept with the women. No, I committed the far more offensive crime of not responding to their advances, while sleeping with women they deemed beneath them.
Though to be fair, whenever the all-female management tried to force responsibility on me for their ceaseless incompetence, I politely proved I was not to blame. That was not very empowering of me.

Thank you for this presentation. I well remember my dismay regarding this case and the fabrications of the ‘victims’. I recall thinking Mr Gomeshi was most fortunate in having a skilled and knowledgeable lawyer. Despite the favourable verdict, I can only assume his life and future prospects were quite ruined. I do not know to what extent he was able to get back on his feet as it were. At this point, I hold little hope of the tide turning in the legal spheres having witnessed the judicial system regarding recent Charter challenges in Canada over Covid abuses. The grasp of the tentacles of feminism is far and wide.

How do feminists explain women who after truly being assaulted, immediately file criminal complaints with the police and testify truthfully, verified by physical evidence in accordance with vetted and established criminal jurisprudence? If women truly have the proclivity to lie about the assault, early adult training must be undertaken with young women to counter these proclivities for their benefit so that if they are assaulted, they take proper steps to counter them and tell the truth immediately. This is a valuable use of feminist energies that will maintain women’s credibility in these cases, and protect the credibility of women who are true victims of assault.

Very good video. I wondered if you were making so much sense because you *don't* have a legal background (12:41). But there are probably legal experts that decry what has happened in the last say 15 years (e.g., presumably Bruce Pardy from Queens University). It's hard to see exactly how these changes happened in so many areas including the law (and hard to contemplate them after they happened) but at least there is some evidence that the pendulum might be swinging back the other way now. Maybe the judge was working overtime in his cryptic comments to ensure justice was done. Maybe he was saying "Sure, our new woke standards mean Ghomeshi is guilty, but I can't ignore such flagrant mockery of the legal system and its thousand-year-old principles by the complainants (sorry, victims)".

In my experience judges are not stupid people. This judgement seems so ridiculous, that I am tempted to believe the judge has done this to deliberately force the issue to the appeal courts, for a final ruling on all this stuff. Then everyone will know where they stand. Or maybe I'm just being over charitable.

Ghomeshi might be a scummy dude with low moral value, but he didn’t rape these women. That’s according to a criminal trial that we assume was carried out as intended within the legal standards of our democracy. Ghomeshi was found not guilty, but his life has still been flushed down the crapper. He lost his job,his reputation and even his future ability to work and earn a living. No consequences for his accusers and no legal remedy for what he’s lost.
