    Never been sexually harassed in all my years as a young working woman (first job at 14, I’m 30 now). But jealous child-like older women in the workplace bullying and sabotaging me? Oh boy…that’s why I have my own business now…

    Do not engage with women in the workplace.
    No conversation not related to business.
    If you arrive early to a meeting and then a woman comes into the room leave immediately and wait for others to arrive elsewhere. No out of hours socialising.

    I am a 65 years old woman and I can assure you that in my entire life I was never asked whether I wanted this feminist ideology in any shape or form. And yet I hear all the time “women wanted this or that”… well, let me come clear: I am a woman and I have never ever asked, agreed or voted for this shit. I am sure that I am not the only one. In my opinion this is just another well calculated manoeuvre to destroy the family and ultimately weakens each one of us. I love and respect the men in my life and I appreciate how much they enrich my experience in this world.

      It means that someone very cleverly capitalized on the propensity of the human animal to suffer rather than to act. Historically speaking it is this force which keeps governments in place. It is why civil wars are few and national wars much less than might be.

    Western Society has done a great job on eliminating male aggressive tendencies in the workplace. When was the last time you heard of two men actually physically fighting at work? It still happens, but is so rare now that it is barely a blip on the radar.
    Where Western Society has dropped the ball, is eliminating, or even recognizing, female aggressive tendencies in the workplace. As a rule, females do not engage in physical aggression, but rather use non-physical acts, such as verbal undermining. This acts are just as destructive to the workplace as fighting, but instead of tamping down on these embers of aggression, they are flamed by policies that reward such acts.

      One could even argue that eliminating so much male aggression isn’t always a good thing either, simply bc that aggression doesn’t just up and disappear, it gets channeled SOMEWHERE. In the workplace, unfortunately, male aggression is often converted to female aggression-character assassination, manipulation, and gossip. Some of the more malicious and nihilistic types will plan a mass shooting. I’m not trying to imply that if men can’t duke it out at work, they’ll resort to murder in every case, but it DOES happen. Others take it out on their families. I guess my point is this: aggression itself isn’t a bad thing, ppl NEED to have the capacity for it, and anyone who thinks male or female aggression disappears is wrong (I’m not saying you think this, just in general). We attach cost to it so that the cost of acting out aggression in certain ways costs more than not acting it out, but it doesn’t “go” anywhere, and this is something no one ever talks about. They also believe that bc women don’t usually express aggression through physical violence that we have no aggression. These are the “toxic masculinity” types who say this. I worked with men in the construction field for years, and then I worked with women in real estate. I can say with 100% confidence that no man EVER treated me as poorly as other women did.

    • @GeminiPlatypus
      @GeminiPlatypus 2 месяца назад

      Male aggression has not been eliminated. Its been pushed so far underground by the far left that men are now going postal and k*lling people (mostly women) and k*lling themselves. Idiotic feminist policy is the cause of the increase in violence against women in the West. Men have no outlet and have to neuter themselves so duh, they're going to lose their damn minds eventually. I'm not justifying these actions, I merely see the cause is obvious.

But if it happened today I could sue them for everything they had. I also worked in construction for years and the few women on the site were worthless. Upon further reflection, I think I know why he complained. Some Canadians say that if your gaze lingers more than 2 seconds on any female, it is considered to be harrassment. He was probably trying to protect himself. After working weeks in a row in northern camps, it is very hard to not get aroused as a young man.

    The problem is that we all know women can be nasty but when they do wrong we think they can do no wrong. This has enabled women to use accusations to destroy innocent men. It is important to remember that abusers will often use false accusations to hurt their victims.
    I have been the victim of abuse in my time and I make a point of explaining to people that while it is important to listen when a person claims they have been abused, it is equally important to not immediately believe the claim. Those to whom the claim has been made must remain independent so that they can assess both the claimant and the accused versions of events. One of them will be telling the truth or both may be as bad as each other or it may be an escalated event of crossed-purposes that can be easily resolved.
    On the opposite side- men get sexual harassment from women and do not report because we won't be believed.

    I miss the days when we could tell a dirty joke and no one thought much about it. I worked in my family’s construction business for years, even running my own crew for a time, and a lot of that talk was necessary for bonding. I can count on one hand how many times I was “harassed” by men, and they were never on my crews. It was mostly cat-calling from other crews, and the occasional sexist comment from a rando that I blew off bc he didn’t know me and I didn’t care. Most of the “dirty joke” stuff was bonding, and my guys ALWAYS looked out for me. I was young, so I was in the mentality that I had to do everything as well as the men did it, not to compete with them, but to feel worthy of running the crew. It was my hang up though bc they never let me lift 32’ ladders, they went out of their way to make sure I didn’t have to. I told them constantly how much I appreciated it, and eventually stopped apologizing for being a girl. They would just tell me-it’s our job to do the heavy lifting, it’s your job to make sure we have heavy lifting to do next week, LOL. I worked in a predominantly male field doing a “man’s work” for over 20 years, and can’t think of a single issue that ever came up where I felt I was unsafe or needed to involve any authorities. I heard things that made my ears bleed, at times, true, but one result is that I’m not overly sensitive now. I can listen to a horribly lewd joke and not take it personally, and men don’t have to tip toe around me. They can be who they are, and I like men just the way they are. The 2nd wave feminists have done us ALL a disservice. They’ve framed men as predators who seek to take advantage of us poor, weak females who can’t take a joke without perceiving it as a threat. I’m sick of it.

    I wanted to add one more thing, something I have no proof of, it’s just personal observation-if men can’t interact with women freely, if they can’t even tell a joke, how can they possibly know when it goes too far? We ALL get signals from others in society as to what’s acceptable and what isn’t. This is why freedom of expression (or one reason why) is so crucial. If you can’t make a mistake without it costing you EVERYTHING, then we, as a society, aren’t teaching ppl what is acceptable and what isn’t. We’re teaching ppl that they have to hide. This will come back to bite us, and I’m positive it already is. As I watch video of men filming women being raped on subways, not doing anything to help, bc they’re afraid of the consequences (and I do believe some of them are resentful enough to not care at this point), we’re in trouble. More and more I’m seeing men comment on videos saying “equal rights and equal lefts”, the implication being that if a woman wants equal rights, she needs to be able to take a punch like a man. Both “sides” of this mentality are wrong, the feminists AND the “red pill” manosphere types. This may be a justifiable anger on the part of men, but sitting back and reveling in women being physically harmed is not ok either.

    • @Xbalanque84
      @Xbalanque84 Месяц назад

      Damn. This observation hits especially hard. As someone on the autism spectrum, it took me ages to grasp how banter works and what is or is not an appropriate joke to make in a given setting. I still struggle sometimes to maintain tact, and as someone who came of age in the irreverent 2000s, the inability to tell edgy jokes anymore has been stifling. My tastes in humor aside, I and countless other socially awkward men are trapped in a precarious position of not only misreading social cues or giving off the wrong ones, but being labeled as "creeps" over said misunderstandings (or just passing eye contact).
      I miss when speech was truly free. I miss when [birthing persons] weren't incentivized to cry wolf at every opportunity for attention/social currency at the expense of others.

    This idea of ridiculously flexible definitions to paint non-victim women as victims reminds me of an interaction I had just yesterday talking to a neighbor woman. I took the position that we certainly don't live in a "rape culture" as feminists claim. She responded that years ago she went to police to report a rape and they refused to file an incident report, dismissing her claim.
    I asked what happened and she said that her boyfriend had tried to talk her into having sex. She said no at first but after he went on and on she admitted she in fact consented, due to his verbal pressure. Not coercion, just he talked on and on.
    Later regretting the whole thing she went to the police. Well of course when she admitted to giving verbal consent the officer is not going to view it as rape, because it isn't.
    This gets to the core of the batshit of most feminists; feelings over facts. But criminal charges have to be about facts and she consented.
    I have to wonder if she would have felt satisfied if he had to rot in prison for years and be branded a rapist for life over sex that she had consented to. Considering her increasing hostility toward me for simply questioning "rape culture" and other feminist lies I am afraid so.

    It’s a dynamic that really favors women. Generally, we must proposition then. They get to be angry and vindictive about it. Every workplace and school seems to attempt to narrow or punish heterosexual expression to the point even most innocent men, happily married with a wife at home, can sometimes experience unease. Some have argued that, at its heart, ‘me too’ type activism is really about transferring income from men to women in the form of more and better job opportunities. The public perception seems opposite from reality. A man and a woman have consensual sex and the man is considered to be exploiting the woman if he has paid her.

    I started work in the late 80s and 90s. I was on a project then and it was about 120 people and most of the people were in there 20s and early thirties. After 12 months there were about 25 couples. Lots of good clean homo sapien mating rituals. I am sure there were probably a couple of marriages came out of that too. Fast forward 15 years any man would be insane to ever think about getting into a relationships with anyone from work. One wrong word and your career and everything youve worked for goes up in smoke depending on what a woman thought she was feeling. Until this changes and burden of proof standards come back then men will avoid women like the plague. The only other thing that will bring some kind of sanity back to the work place is if women are given the same punishment as the crime for false accusations. ie if a woman falsely accuses a man of sexual harrassment, then after a fast assessment if it is proved that she lied then she is immediately fired, no benefits, no payouts. This will be the only thing that will stop it. I am 53 and I can tell you if I went back into a corporate job I would apply the Spence rule and have cameras going around me all the time. The truth is I am getting out of my industry due to the fact that it doesnt hire white men anymore. Regardless of having 30 years of experience in an industry, mining projects, that really need people with experience as there is a lot of lore that is not written down.

    It’s sort of like in Jacobin , Robespierre France , if you were accused of being a counter - revolutionary or royalist you were killed; the accusation is all that mattered , no evidence required. In Soviet Russia under Lenin and Stalin this same terror of accusation reigned . It was so bad some people were professional accusers , many , many innocent people were murdered on these false accusations of being accused of being a part of the bourgeoisie. The irony is Ive seen gay women hitting on women all the time with absolute impunity , and gay men to a lesser degree. I was on a date with a woman and a bi- woman pushed her down on a bench and tried to get gay with her , I had just started dating this lady . She pushed tge aggressive lesbian off and told her to cut it out . I was thinking , if that was a guy he would be in jail . My two daughters have encountered this same aggressive behavior from gay women . I could give many , many accounts of this my sons best friends wife was making out with her boss at work . The husband was red hot angry - yet Hollywood tells us that’s not cheating. The world has turned up side down - in the 70’s that would’ve been considered worse than committing adultery with a man . I guess because of porn and endless movies pushing the lesbian and gay movement men are supposed to be happy when being cucked by a woman . Most guys I’ve seen that actually love their wife or girlfriend are not “ excited” when their woman runs off with another woman . It’s an elephant in the room - at least around here. Anyway - Janice I love what you are doing and I admire you more than words could hope to express. You are truly a kind, wise and virtuous lady !!😊

    There is real harassment and it should be taken seriously. When there are gray issues communication should be used. Our society is very open to sexual issues. If someone clearly states that personal comments are unwanted or offensive that should be the end of it. If people feel that their boundaries have been violated when they never made clear what their boundaries should be they shouldn't conclude that they are a victim. If everyone had the same standard of morality and lived by it we wouldn't have a problem but realistically we don't have the same standards. When we are taught that we are victims we have no trouble finding what we think is truth to support that mindset.
