I am glad you brought up the German volk. I was comparing this to many academics today recently. It seems once again in history only what is allowed by specific people must be pushed. The little failed painter noted in the age of his party Christian art could not be allowed. History is repeating.
Complete with the Jew who was pushing his own form of totalitarianism. What happened in the 30s was a correction against what happened by Jewish communists in the 1920s Weimar
As if the little painter did not view christianity as foreign to his own culture. Put a bigger effort when trying to rewrite history to suit your aim.

Thanks you, Janice for using your voice, intellect, experiences and position/platform to speak truth to the insanity for the people, men in particular that have nothing other than the illusion of a platform that X, Facebook or Instagram provide. Our mundane voices, regardless of their volume, carry all the social equivalent of yelling underwater. We are in debt to you and the few like you for taking your time and energy to speak out.
I made a concerted attempt to escape from being an intellectual, starting around 40 years ago, because it was already apparent to me then that academia was a poisoned well and that our intellectual betters couldn't possibly deliver anything of any value. Unfortunately, the escape plan didn't quite work out.

Its astonishing to me that feminism takes it for granted that it should possess a monopoly on the conversations and conventions pertaining to men and boys… that atrocious Gillet ad is a great example of why that cannot be allowed. Namely, the fact that feminists not only don’t understand men and boys, but in fact are contemptuous of men and boys.

Prof. J. I feel this is the crux of a culmination of many decades, Thanks to your citing of Remy's work. You and Remy should produce an Opus, Peterson can do the Forward, Nerd Lust for Power. As described the majority of professional academics were the anemic book worm and comic store sci-fi nerds. Prolific readers and the boring outcast at every gathering except among their fellow bohemians. But Teaching was their first taste of authority, teaching adults evermore so, teaching young ignorant american adults hmmm simply what do they value how about I adopt those transitory values and naive misconceptions and with the ignorant student masses I can be heard in the "REAL" world with an army of 18+ year olds. Before this very entry of yours I thought it all started with T. Leary and the Love Generation, drug culture etc.
Ah the ism's. Why are folks always surprised when most people want to travel the broad and easy way, ridiculing those on the narrow and thorny path, only to find themselves ridiculed and outcast in the end. To even buy into the idea of social justice you have to buy into the thinking that there is no such thing as an individual or personal agency, there are only collectives whose attributes are immutable. White folks are oppressors, blacks and women are the oppressed, etc. Social justice shouldn't even be on the list of priorites because it doesn't exist, the same as white privilege, systemic racism, rape culture... all of these require the leftist idea of collectives being valid, but it isn't a legitimate concept.

The pursuit of truth implies the truth is unknown and in the future. If that's true, then how would we know we were heading in the right direction towards it?
The truth is out there in the world right now. The senses are our window to it and critical thinking is how we understand what we see.
