Hi this video was super helpful i searched and searched and searched trying to find a good vido that shows the conversion kit and if thats all that is really needed i have the same pool im buying a cheap sand filter from amazon its called vevo its the cheapest 1 like $70 to $75 but my hose is shot on my summer waves filter now do u no if the new sand filter hoses will direct attach or is there any other things needed to makenit work and this was a awesome video this was the only one that showed the little plate being installed

Stuck in the home depot parking lot. Bike is locked in security mode. Watched this video, went back in and replaced the battery and boom she fired up... Going to change the security code so that never happens again! Saved my life bro!! lol

I sprayed the lift mechanism , using silicone lubricant, it make a big difference, turn much easier, plus keep the finger on the lift button while turning the dial, help release tge pressure on it.

I would rather have that 300 6 cylinder than the 302 . Especially if it had a 4 speed manual.

I just acquired the same model at a discount from one of the big box home improvement stores since it was damaged in transit. I'm eager to get mine up and running, but I need to source a few replacement parts first. Unfortunately, Craftsman's parts catalogs aren't what they used to be prior to the brand being sold off by Sears. I'm curious if you could tell us what brand of motor they mounted to your unit. Mine is from Marathon Electric (model 5KCR160DXP0025Y), and unfortunately neither Craftsman nor Marathon provide information on service parts for the motor, specifically the start and run capacitors. If you have the same motor, can you provide specs or model numbers for those components?

Exactly my issue this morning. Two fobs out. Ordered two new 2032 batteries on Amazon. What I don't understand is you had one battery in correct in one fob but it still wouldn't start. That means a bad FOB over rules a Good Fob unless the battery in the right polarity FOB was bad and the wrong polarity FOB battery was good just in backwards. Make any sense?

That engine is probably one of the best motors Ford ever made. I believe that it was originally designed to be put in tractors. I have a 1982 stepside with the same engine. I love that truck, it's like stepping back in time!

I bought a 1978 CJ 7 new and it came with a AMC 304 stock. A LOT of AMC Jeeps came with the 304 out of the factory.

Tow with a strap 20mph. Pop clutch with ignition. On.

Yeah I had to 97 civic that the previous owner gave up on. Said he had put a new harmonic balancer on it and then it got a parasitic draw somehow. What actually happened is he sheared the crank bolt. Since nothing was turning, the battery died. I had to weld a longer bolt on to extract the broken one. He used a zinc bolt to hold the crank pulley on (presumably because he didn't want to spend $15 on the correct replacement).

I mean the wires go to the distributor, so... I'd say it's essential

If motor is full of water it will not turn~!! This engine needs to be completely pulled, disassembled and rebuilt.

This engine is a perfect rebuild candidate for a new video! This jeep deserves a frame off resto , with sand blaster and all new suspension parts

Ive got 2 of them! One my grandfather an dad bought new in 46, dad did a lot of the towns gardens with it. The other one is also a 46 that dad bought in the 60's when he needed one for himself. I still use that one, fresh 16 to 1 mix and less than 3 pulls and off we go! Grandads machine is on deck for a restoration soon. Let me know if ya want some pointers on using your beast, ya dont try to fight it, it will kick the $hit out of you, guide it, and it will do an awsome job for you even at nearly 80 years old!
