Nice car. Good channel. Thanks, algorithm, for finally pointing it my way.
Glad to see ya found us. Thank goodness for the algorithm!
Great Find with a lot of possibilities, I Look forward to your progress my friend
Looking like an entire wiring harness based on recent progress. There will be another episode on it soon. Probably after Christmas. Thanks for watching!
Thought you won Lottery Moved to some where warm... glad to see you back at it....
I wish! Though if I won the lottery I'd need massive warehouses to store all the junk I'd buy! 🤣
Can’t wait to see the restoration on this car. It’s one year younger then me, so I remember these cars when I was a child. Only they weren’t crop tops.
I've always wanted a tri five Chevy! I really want a 57 but they are cost prohibitive. Even a 55 is expensive unless you buy in from a dusty shed in New Jersey in pieces. 🤣 Thanks for watching!
Good luck with it. Nothing like a 55 chevy👍
Thanks for watching! We are loving this thing!
I actually found your channel by looking for different ways of getting a compressor off the pallet lol, Stayed for the cars👍
Creativity is your friend! It's not wrong if it works right? 🤣 Thanks for watching!
AWESOME CAR!! .....I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE VIDS!!
Thanks appreciate it!
I agree, first one I have seen, too!
It's a rarity to be sure! Thanks for watching!
You have a vacuum leak on that fitting screwed into the intake behind the carb. You need to use a section of hose to plug those up.
It's got tons of vacuum leaks. Plus that pesky oil leak. Lol. I'll get it worked out one by one. Thanks for watching!
Car looks great for its age. Got a good one there. Looking forward to more! (Note: not goof!)
Thanks Roy! We are super stoked to have it! Appreciate the support thanks for watching!
This 55 was from my area. So cool to see where this car ended up. Best of luck with it.
That's so cool! I love when connections like that are made. Hopefully we can do it justice. Thanks for watching!
Classic industries parts and accessories, look on line
Yeah tracking down oddball parts is a lot easier in this day and age. 🤣 Thanks for watching!
The chop looks better then I thought great video 👍
It grew on me and I actually really like it. It's different and weird which I enjoy. Thanks for watching!
The chop actually looks pretty sharp. It's not too radical and looks proportionate. I'm wanting to see the work when you get to the windshield. I've never seen that type of work being done.
I'm nervous to do the windshield. They aren't cheap! 🤣 I agree the chop looks good. I'm excited to see how it all comes together.
You will be cruising for sure by spring.
At the rate I'm going I dunno about that. Literally haven't laid a finger on the car since I shot the video. Maybe this weekend sometime.... Thanks for watching!
I think this is the first chop top 55 I've ever seen. Good looking hot rod 👍
It's definitely unique. I've never seen a 4 door chopped anyways. Thanks for watching!
Heck yeah!
Thanks for watching! Appreciate ya stopping by and supporting the channel!
I'm not sure if the camera was flipped or what. But I thought 1357 was on driver's side and 2468 was on the passenger. Maybe I'm confusing something. 🤔
Also the car is cool as hell. Loving your channel.
No you're right. Not sure how I mixed that up. I had to go watch that part of the video to see what I said. 🤣 I wonder how it ran??? I'll have to investigate that when I get back to the garage. Thanks for watching we appreciate the support!
@@MyLegacyGarage I was wondering how it ran too! I wasn't trying to be rude. I was just confused. 😂
@@rodztorations5869 hey no worries man! I'm no mechanic. Half the time I'm shocked something actually starts. 🤣
@@MyLegacyGarage same here. If it starts the first time after I get it together I wonder what I did wrong that I'm gonna find later.
Odds are on the drivers side evens on the passenger side on an SBC.
Right you are. Somebody else pointed it out already. I dunno how it ran??? I need to investigate it next time I get out to the garage. Thanks for watching!
Nice hot rod looking forward to watching th buil
Thanks for watching! I'm really looking forward to working on it too!
Go watch DD Speed Shop. He will show you how to turn it into a two door.
I'm rather partial to the 4 doors actually. Thanks for watching!
Not a huge 55-56-57 fan but it looks like it'll be a nice challenging build.
Any idea what's splurting out from under the carb, passenger side, from the intake? When it coughed a couple times looks like it sprayed fuel or coolant or something toward passenger fender.
I saw that too and believe it was brake clean that I loaded the intake up with. Guessing that carb plate isn't quite sealed right. I'm sure I'll be hunting vacuum leaks galore. Lol. Thanks for watching!
Good 😃😃😃👍👍👍👏👏👏
She's a beaut ain't she? Lol. Thanks for watching!
She's a beaut ain't she? Lol. Thanks for watching!
👍🏻
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching appreciate the support!
Yes, you can buy a car like that if: you have the money, a shop, all the tools, a welder and know how to use it. I have none of that and no friends who do.
I didn't have this shop until a couple years ago. I usually just messed with stuff in the driveway or the backyard for years. I still do sometimes rather than putting it inside. This particular car might be a bit much lacking all those things but there's a vehicle out there somewhere that's perfect for your situation. Someday you'll find it and you'll know it as soon as u see it. Thanks for watching!
Old DD speed Shop can fix this in his sleep... But you can do it awake makes for better video..
He sure does love his tri fives doesn't he? Lol. I'll give it a shot. It'll end up being good enough for me anyways. Thanks for watching!
not a big fan of chopped cars
Me either typically. It's grown on me though. Plus the price was right. 🤣 Thanks for watching!
Never buy a chopped car that has no windshield. Reason: if he cant get glass for it, you probably cant either
@@pkerit308 I'd counter that with do your research first and decide how you are going to handle it and weigh that against the cost of the car vs the value of the car. I got it cheap enough I won't get hurt going though a couple windshields to get it cut right. Appreciate the support!
