That sucks my job has about 30-40 charging stations on site and all the electric cars get a free charge every single day at work. It's a slow charger so it takes a few hrs to charge but they are at work for 8 hrs so they don't need it to be fast.

And considering most drives aren't multi hundred mile crosscoyntry trips you could probably get away most of the time charging at home overnight without even needing to go to gas station. Also if you are driving many hundreds of miles it would probably be good for you to get out and strech every ev range or so. Personnally I prefer train with constant power from the grid and no need to drive myself.

Low Power Mode is meant for people to not use their phone when it’s on as it lowers the CPU/GPU cores so it’s not meant for heavy load, but people still use it even if it’s not a serious situation
30 mins isn’t a long time unless you’re in a rush. In that case tho, you’d probably have charged before hand knowing you had to be somewhere asap. Also saving more money.

Not a problem. Have been down to 0% once and made it to the charger. A bit unsettling though but the car still had power. Even moved it to another charger with no issues at 0% cause the first one was broken

That’s why I’d never use electric. There just aren’t enough places to charge it. Sure it might change in the future but I live in the country, and the only places I know that have any charging stations are Walmart and Sheetz, not to mention 30 minutes to charge is crazy. I’d rather fill up once every few days and that only takes a minute or two

I never took mine for a long trip, but so far, I did charge mine twice, at the supercharging station, it always isn't 30 minutes, at the same time, running to bathroom and getting snacks at the same time, the wait isn't that long tho.. Maybe it might be inconvenice if you aren't responsible or good at planning ahead

Not a problem. Have been down to 0% once and made it to the charger. A bit unsettling though but the car still had power. Even moved it to another charger with no issues at 0% cause the first one was broken

What people dont realize, is that MOST chargers in the united states arent "SUPER CHARGERS". At 2% you can expect to stay between 2 hours to 12 hours to gain a 75% charge. Double whatever the wait time was, including the 30 minutes in the video, to achieve 100% charge.

That’s why I’d never use electric. There just aren’t enough places to charge it. Sure it might change in the future but I live in the country, and the only places I know that have any charging stations are Walmart and Sheetz, not to mention 30 minutes to charge is crazy. I’d rather fill up once every few days and that only takes a minute or two
