Today we are servicing our trusty John Deere 1025R subcompact tractor. Not only does this fine machine serve us by dragging various vehicles around for the channel, it also mows the grass! When purchased it came with 3 years of service that has been satisfied which means it's my turn to service it. In this video you will find an oil change, oil filter change, fuel filter change, air cleaner removal and cleaning, mower deck removal and installation as well as general tips for sharpening mower blades, cleaning a mower deck and greasing the equipment. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have!

I sprayed the lift mechanism , using silicone lubricant, it make a big difference, turn much easier, plus keep the finger on the lift button while turning the dial, help release tge pressure on it.
That's a good idea. I'll have to spray the adjustment on mine. Thanks for watching!
Cool new VLOG
I decided it could be useful information for somebody so why not make a video since I was doing it anyways right? Lol. Thanks for watching!
👍👍
Thanks Robert! Been keeping an eye out for a power tour video. Gonna post one?
When are we gonna get some old truck content? I miss yours
When I get enough time for it. Planning on doing some work to the 84 Ford soon and making a follow up video. Got a couple will it start projects sitting around as well. Thanks for watching!

We do love our tractors don't we? 🤣
@@MyLegacyGarage they're essential!

Thanks as always for being a faithful viewer!
@@MyLegacyGarage welcome and glad help out too !
New vlogs?
There should be a new video in the next couple weeks. Part two on the 84 Ford. Thanks!
About make sure the wheels are up? Or don't matter? Just bought one, 1025R w/ LBM, used with 150 hours. Reading manuals, too much info to digest, besides been an old fart, 70, I'm also suffering from ADHD on steroid.😂😂 ? I had a Kubota, for about 9 years. Never had JD. New to me. Did a ton of research, visit dealers, MF, JD, K and NH. All good, but no way in the world I would dish out 28k cash to get me a ride lawn mower tractor!
They ain't cheap that's for sure. I'm happy with my 1025. Wheels up helps but it'll be a pain to put the deck back on regardless. Thanks for watching!
Which oil that you use, engine and Trans/ Hydraulic? And it's the same for front Axle, correct? Also, I thought that the blades are sharpened from one side, the angle side @@MyLegacyGarage
