The field of dreams.... A farm field with multiple old C series Chevy trucks just sitting around. That's what we have here folks. Join us as we rescue these poor old trucks and give them new life a donor vehicles for future projects. First up, my 1970 C10 that's in need of a 12 bolt rear end. We have a couple dozen of the 67 thru 72 trucks in our collection. My youngest son own's most of them. We also are parting out 16 square cabs. We have a U tube video of a tour of collection.
I'm quite jealous. The last thing I need is more junk but how can I say no when stuff like these trucks pop up? 🤣 Thanks for watching!

I would put the 1967 cab on the short bed with the short stepside bed and if I didn't do it up to be pretty I would just go to the neighborhood farm store and buy a gallon of satin black implement paint and spray everything satin black but the lights and wiper blades! It gives the truck that sinister look! Just for the record Nascar used the trailing arm rear suspension from Chevy trucks for about 40 years! in their race cars! I think they used the 3/4 ton setup with the heavy duty 8 lug wheels but I'm not sure of that part!
It's a pretty good setup really. Ahead of it's time in a lot of ways. We shall see what becomes of these gems. Thanks for watching!
Glad you rescued them. Would like to see if the 67 is salvageable. I learned to drive on one, six cylinder and three on the tree.
She's pretty rough and no title unfortunately. I have a lot of patch panels and such though so may patch up cabs, fenders and doors to sell. Thanks for watching!

Cover the holes on the engine after you put some marvel mystery oil in it
I don't have high hopes for it but I'll give it a shot. I have covered it up and protected it but it's been sitting out like that forever. Did have a little bucket over the carb at least. Thanks for watching!

That step side bed looks like it's worth saving or possibly just going on another project
It's pretty rough but salvageable. I wanted that one mostly for the frame so if I want to build a short bed I don't have to do any frame cutting. Thanks for watching!

A friend of mine older guy he's got a private yard with lots of vehicles he had a 85 C10 350 automatic long bed overall the body is 95% good told him I wanted a project he said go get what you want and I gave him four hundred bucks
