How about windows 10 version?

Weird i have a 14900k that idles at 30c and gaming avg is 65c? Ive been debating switching and trying am5 and 7800x3d but im worried about memory post times and possible stutter or random errors ive heard. I have never had an issue with intel. Not sure what to do

i'm still running a 5800x3d with a 7900 xtx , playing on ultrawide 34 inch 1440p monitor . You think me changing to a 7800x3d with a 4090 would get me a lot more fps?

Just tried PBO2 Tuning my 5800X3D (mobo - ASUS ROG Strix X570-F Gaming) and had the opposite effect. BIOS is alrady set to 142/95/140 and curve optimiser at -30. Running the OCCT CPU test the temps settle between 89/90.5deg and OCCT says the CPU is running at 4050ghz to 4100ghz all cores. OCCT says PPT/EDC/TDC usage is 118/81/108. Running Cinebench R23 then OCCT says CPU freq is locked in at 4300ghz. PPT/EDC/TDC settled around 112/77/121 I used PBO2 tuner to tweak PPT/EDC/TDC to 110/75/105 and ran Cinebench test again. This time CPU clock dropped to 3.9Ghz which is a 400Mhz loss. I know the 5800X3D is locked in terms of power and temp limits, so you can't really over clock it, but undervolting seems to slow down my CPU. Temps came down as well, but only by about 5deg. I have a Dark Rock Pro 4 cooler, which is supposed to be good enough. (I've tried fresh Thermal paste and made sure it is fitted correctly). Maybe I should grab an AIO water cooler? For me the results of undervolting were a small Temp reduction but also a 10% drop is CPU clock speed. I'm not sure what I need to do differently. My Mobo (ASUS ROG Strix X570-F Gaming) has a load of power settings I can mess with but I'm pretty sure I've got mine set to something reasonable.

hi i have ryzen 5 7600x with rx 7900 gre i get great fps and no stutters in the small maps but whenever i load into urzikstan (big map), my game stutters hella crZy litteraly unplayable, do u have any idea why?

how come you 7900xtx is hard capped below 3000mhz... they can boost up to 3200mhz, and 3030mhz on the 4090 is pushing it to the wall and some. don't get me wrong the 4090 is the better card but the figures are off slightly

Mouse manufacturers had to move from DPI to another marketable number -> hence polling rate. 4000 hz is a gimmick; marketing bullshit. Going from 1 ms latency to 0.250 ms isn't noticeable; all placebo. From a good night sleep and a good diet you can reduce your reaction time by 10-20ms. Maybe even more. Don't waste your money on this bs. You are just wasting priceless CPU cicles and battery life.

Yessirr -- 100 - 70 - 100 -30 all cores, 15 min test and its all stable.

0:50 .... you state no CPU bottleneck.... yes its at 15-20% but what's going on with the 1-2 cores being hit by the main thread... I can guarantee they will be 100% pegged.... remember you can have 16 cores, 1 busy core and 15 idle, this will show like 8% util, when in fact its 100% because the app is only using a single thread on a single core

For NVCP: Don't select "Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance" in Global settings. Do it in Program Settings and select the game that you're trying to apply to. This will make sure your GPU is at maximum clocks when that game is open but otherwise on desktop it is idling which it should. For Texture filtering - Quality : This actually impacts DX12 games too, you want to set this to atleast Quality since the visual blur of textures are fairly noticable while the FPS difference is 1-2 fps at most.

So to conclude , if you have 4090 7800x3d should i turn resize bar off? With low settings im getting like 170 1% lows which is low in my opinion (1440p).

We hope you will atleast comeback when zen 5 and zen 5 3D comes out. Will be extremely interesting to see how it stacks up in call of duty. U were the only channel properly showing performance in warzone :(

There are things that you miss if you cap your fps in CS2 input lag will increase and game will be a lot smoother in for example i just upgraded my pc with 7800x3d and 7900xtx but i still have 144hz monitor for now (will upgrade to 360) if you cap your fps 144 game feels much laggy

I managed to set all cores to -30 on my own 5800x3d processor. However, I have to re-enter ppt tdc and edc every time I turn on the computer. I think I could not succeed in this part, please help.

Testing 7600x. During test in occt temps go to 95c always. Is that normal for tests, while actual undervolting results in temps i should test during gaming? Usually it went to around 85c but if undervolting was successful, temps should go lower in games.

I'm running a MSI b650 Tomahawk Wifi and running ram at 7600MHz. Haven't tried 7800MHz yet. My ram kit is G.Skill Trident 6800MHz. F5-6800J3445G16GX2-TZ5RK.

2-5% increase for much less stability and more latency doesnt seem worth it youre better off dialing in your timings for the slower ram
