I'm currently rocking the 7800X3D and ASUS TUF 4090. So far, I'm at 160 hertz on my 4K monitor (144 hz is default but with overclocking it hits 160 hertz) hitting the full specs of my monitor. Gameplay hits more frames in certain games than my monitor can display - which is very nice. My main games are Apex Legends, God of War, Gears 5, Halo Infinite, Halo MCC. I haven't had any demanding titles so far, but I'm loving my current setup. Exoprimal is sort of more demanding due to how much is going on in-game, which that results to 100 FPS at high/max settings even 90 at some points. This combo can handle anything from what I threw at it so far. If you have a 4090 it is most likely you are going for 4K resolution, but if you game at 1440P this card can, and will, deliver.

Hey beefy is there any performance difference between 7800x3d and 7950x3d with one ccd disabled ?
Barely any difference if at all fam. But usually 7950x3d is slightly faster even with 2 ccds enabled.
Hey, any chance you'll do a video showcasing 7950x3d w/ process lasso vs 7800x3d? All the reviewers test the 7950x3d as is with game bar, but almost no one tests it using the first ccd and game bar off
I use 7950x3d with gamebar + process lasso usually. It's the most consistent setup method.
7950x3d with only the 3d cores enabled is practically ideentical to 7800x3d perf. with both 3d and non 3d enabled then it varies in some games its slightly better in some its slightly slower but the difference is small none the less
Im trying to figure out why this game is so CPU bound for me, I have a 3080 + i9-11900k and 32 3200 ram im usually at like 75% cpu and 60% gpu but I am on all low graphics and my fps is capped at about 140 / 120 to try and keep consistent frames
why is the finals only using my cpu my gpu has 1% usage

I recommend the Asus X670E Gene and Gigabyte X670E Auros Master Over the X670E steel legend. It's a good motherboard, but boot times are horrendous on it, so tough to work with for overclocking.

why such a big different? i dont want to charge more than 800€ and both of them are in the range of 700-750€ the first one is BenQ Morbiuz EX3415R the other one is BenQ Mobiuz EX2710U
4090 is great for 1440p. 90% of modern games with fully utilize a 4090 at 1440P high/ultra settings when 4090 is Paired with a 7800x3d.
People saying 4090 is only for 4K clearly don't know how demanding games are these days even at 1440p😆

hey! nice vids. Can you tell please what is better for smooth competitive gameplay 7800x3d or 13700 or something else if compare in 1% and 0.1% fps or something like that. I need smooth fps with minimum micro stutters in rust, tarkov, pubg, warzone but not in cs go, valorant, etc
I think a DDR5 7800x3d is the easy choice between the 2. I'd put the 7800x3d more in the tier on the 14900k than anything else in terms of gaming performance.

yo beefy, i was countering issues with the game, it runs smootlhy but if i alt tab the game, windows starts to stutter a lot, and i have high cpu temps
Haven't had the issue🤔I'll try replicate it but I'm 90% sure I've already tabbed out several times without noticing a problem.
I cant get this game to lock to the cache core on my 7950x3D in Process lasso. Has anyone else had this issue?
I haven't attempted it actually. What's the situation, is it using 1 or 2 second ccd cores?
@@Beefy-Tech it's stuck running 0-31 for cores... Shows up as Discovery in process lasso and when locked to cores 0-15 it doesn't stay on those cores and forces itself to use 0-31 again.
Something must be off now as with 4080 and R5 7600 I'm getting 120-150fps regardless of the settings. CPU utilization 75% at times. GPU from 50% to 80%.
Yeah, the game is totally CPU bound
maybe try RAM and FCLK overclocking
@@melexxa RAM is set to expo 6000mhz CL36. I did however DDU amd igpu drivers, DDU nvidia drivers and get slightly higher fps on average but still within mentioned range
@@thestepback As you might know already, you are CPU limited.. so your only last hope is overclocking RAM to something like 6000CL30 with tight subtimings and fclk overclock to 2033 or 2133mhz. This should give you 15% more FPS.
Also make sure Nvidia Reflex is set to ON or OFF(preferred if heavily cpu limited) but not On+Boost.
Its not your pc mate, this game is bad optimised and have a bit cpu bottleneck
I have a 7800x3d and 7900xtx but I just don’t feel like I’m getting the performance In warzone I should what are some things I could do to cpu or gpu to increase fps I also I haven’t any ram settings I do have pbo on auto in bios tho that’s it
Sadly a massive part of getting good warzone 2 FPS is the setup process. There's like 10+ setup steps I use to get warzone 2 to run well, and if you miss just one, it's a ripperoni to performance

When i run benchmark i get 220fps average on 1440p upscaling to fidaletyCas but in warzone it's completely different, can't get more than 120fps 😖.
I've tried almost everything, i even rollback my GPU driver, xmp is on, resizeable bar also turned on.
Also on benchmark i got CPU bottleneck 45_48%.
So can you advise what can I do, or should i upgrade my ram or CPU or mobo?

warzone isn't optimized well, but u are also very cpu bottlenecked if u have the money suggest getting 7800X3D with 32gb of 6000mhz 30cl if u don't have the money or want value get 7600 or 7500f same ram as 7800X3D with stock cpu cooler.
Yes, I agree with the comment above. You are guaranteed bottlenecked by the I7 12700! You'll need a full platform upgrade if you want that 4070ti to be maxed out in usage! The 7800x3d is your best and easiest upgrade path👍
brother is that possible that i have 100-120fps only in 2k resolution with 5900x and 4090? is this game realy that cpu bound or my system is fucked up ?
I own 5900x + 4080 and there's clearly a CPU bottleneck on my end.

@@MajdiJarrar yup it's the game. I have a 5950x and my friend has a 7800x3d. We have the same GPU and settings but he gets 240 fps while I get 130. 100 more FPS for CPU is insane. They need to optimize it better.

Hey man, can u do another test in this game plz? They've rolled out several updates since the game released and the performance seems to have gone significantly down. I'm getting 100 less frames than when the game came out. Just a quick video on the CPU performance and framerate would be nice. And the game runs significantly worse than the beta as well.
I noticed an increase of CPU usage, but also got more stability.
Went from CPU 80% and GPU at 60% to CPU 100% and GPU 60-50%.
Bottlenecked by my Ryzen 5 3600 at 1440p, and I know my RX 6750 XT can do better.

Yes. Just make sure you pair the 13900k with a 2 dimm motherboard like the z790 tachyon and at least DDR5 7600mhz. Any other lower end parts will hinder 13900k.

It's most likely just settings and setup method fam. I use a custom OS and have full optimizations applied.

@@Decki777 I find that hard to believe given the 7800X3D properly set up runs more in line with a 13900K + DDR5 8000 in most games.
@@Beefy-Tech do you think gigabyte b650i itx board will be enough for 7800x3d it has pretty good specs but it doesn't have external clock generator only premium AM5 motherboards have external clock generator.
@@Decki777 eclk isn't necessary for AM5, you can get any generic motherboard and enjoy top tier performance.
playing on all very low settings I barely hit 100-120 fps in 1440p with my 3070 and 5800X combo. I know this isn't like the most overkill 1440p PC but I feel like it should be good enough for 200 ish in fast paced first person shooters like this idk
not sure if this helps but the processor this guy is on has a massive cache, chips like the 5600x and 5800x will underpreform on this game due to being older and on AM4
I get like a steady 120-130fps on low with a 3800xt and 3600. Hopefully devs can still optimize and maybe at least balance the 2. I doubt it though. Honestly, it probably ran better in the beta 🤣
have a 7900x with 4090, game looks good, but the framerate is wonky af. it runs normally at 138 locked fps, but sometimes it drops to 100 or 110. Sure its still high, but you can feel these kind of fps differences in a fps enviroment. Regardless of Setting, the gpu usage rarely goes above 60-70 percent on 3440x1440.
Damn! So it is quiet a cpu bound game indeed if eveb at 3440x1440p you aren't seeing above 70% usage on gpu.
My monitor is the same resolution (3440x1440) and I'm seeing the same behavior (AMD 5900x + 4080) but surprised to see that you have a similar case but on 7900x
@@MajdiJarrar i fixed all of the issues with the release of the nvidia driver for the game. Gpu usave is still shit tho. 🥲

BTW, 9600k is recommended for this game, and its almost unplayable.
Also, in all of beta's it wasnt that loaded, they changed or broke something, mby even EAC.

My 9900kf is struggling now in the beta it was fine but it drops into the 70s at times and I have a 4080
Here I am, sitting on my i7 6700k setup with 1070. Game runs smoothly, high setting + ultra distance. But yeah, 1080p... no rt etc. Anyway Im more than okay with current performance on that setup. Cpu at 4,5ghz.

Why is your fps so fkn high, with dlss on and raytracing OFF i get 130fps with just a slightly higher resolution 3440 by 1440 i believe. P much same pc as well 4090 with good cpu
Something definetely off. I remember playing the last beta 200+ with 4090/3440. I have 13900k/d4-4000.

beta was somehow better optimized than what it is now. Netcode was the biggest problem in the beta. Netcode still isn't that great.

the finals straight terrible. i have a system 5800x3d 4090 in the game at any graphics settings i have 100-130 fps. GPU 60-80 percent. 1.5 weeks ago it was 170 fps and now 100-130. All other games run awesome avatar on ultra 100-130 fps. gpu 100 percent.
I have the same problem but I love the game. But yeah, my frames fluctuate like crazy also between that same frame rate
Yea the game is so cpu bound. my friend has the same graphics card as me running the same settings but he gets 100 more frames bcuz of CPU. He has a 7800x3d and I have a 5950X. It's actually ridiculous.
man i hate UE5 so much. 5800x3d and 4080 and i cant even get a locked 144hz with dips into the low hundreds at times at all low settings 1440p dlss quality.
hopefully developers begin to optimize UE5 as time goes on. I hate the current state of it too

I am an overclocker leading on OCN and work with vendors so I know a bit about the subject.
If this game is more a multithread game than a game using 3DVcache, possibly 7800X3D could bottleneck a bit.
I have a 7900x and even at 1080p, I have 90%-95% usage GPU….
So this is questionnable.

@@ac130kzaccording to hub clips video "Can current CPU's handle the power of Unreal Engine 5?", it's the opposite. UE5 is more GPU bound. It's likely an optimization issue.
