- Hello all! Today I will be demonstrating how to fix the MW3 Zombies fps dips on Urzikstan for both AMD and Intel, enjoy!

AMD GPU USERS: I am being told that you may have to disable SAM instead of typing "false" in the config file to disable "rebar" within cod on most AMD GPU's. I haven't personally tested it, but give it a try both ways and see what happens with either alternative and choose the best one.
I turned it off through the AMD driver, really easy and a massive improvement. Thanks!
as a 7800x3d and 7900xtx user i can confirm turning SAM off worked (for me at least) i was getting lows of 110-120 now lows are 210-220
so what should I do with my 78X3D 4090 PC

4 months ago but just saved me from uninstalling! so crazy to me that something I thought was increasing fps was doing the opposite. this def is more than just mw3, several games including helldivers got almost double fps turning it off on my 6750xt. much love man you earned the sub bro

Brooo before doing this it was a unplayable mess. It made a day & night difference! There was horrible input lag and frame drops smooth as butter now. Thank you thank you thank you.

Unfortunately there's been resize bar inconsistencies from the very beginning of MW2, otherwise I wouldn't have thought to test it🤣
Basically, this issue existed in vondel too, where Rebar OFF was either significantly better (when on 7900xtx) or slightly better (when on 4090), but it hurt performance to have Rebar OFF in Al Mazrah, Ashika, and multiplayer...meaning it wasn't really worth disabling it just for Vondel.
Now, where Urzikstan BR will probably have the same issue, keeping it off for a lot of people might be the full-time play.
But sadly, I don't think they will fix it... It's something too oddly specific for them to care about, especially when there's a known workaround lol
@@Beefy-Tech I did some testing w/ some settings today, including this one. Tested in the benchmark, so grain of salt... while I lose 15 average fps, my 1% lows on 13900k/4090 went from 170 to 280. My CPU average FPS went up 10% as well. It's like the rebar implementation hurts CPU, which is already going to be a limiter in warzone.
Man this is the real optimization guide rather than silly "INCREASE YOUR FPS +300" videos that only lowers the graphic settings.

To be fair I do run all low settings except texture resolution which is at normal🤣. Texture Res at normal makes guns look good so can't resist having it at a higher setting😉
@@Beefy-Tech Also make sure enable On demand texture streaming if you want to visually enhance your weapon blueprints and camos!

This method still works.. It still drops sometimes (its the normal 10-15 FPS drops when something big is coming), but not as hard as it was with SAM / REsizable bar on.

BRO, I have a question, do you think it is advisable to install 4 16GB RAM modules and have 64 GB or only 2 of 16? Before it was 32 and it started Windows and loaded quickly, now it takes like 3 minutes to start, and sometimes the bios gets stuck. I have a 6000mhz cl 30 gskill

have ryzen 5600x and rx 6700XT, i tried both, and none of them worked :/ , have a really bad fps on warzone . like 100-140 .
Usage in warzone is GPU - 70% cpu 90% , is it possible that i have a bottleneck with this configuration?

Rebar off is a fps hit for me but I also don't get that issue of having low framerates in zone 3. I'm running 6900xt and 5600x -30 pbo all cores with overvolt. Is it cus my cpu0 is fixed at 4850?
@Beefy-Tech Should I also turn off resizebar in Invidia Inspector for MW3 ( i already have it on there )?
Helped also in multiplayer, i was having drops from 165fps to 101fps with every explosion on MEAT 24/7 tried this and smooth 165fps to min 150fps.

Another question: When you overclock the RAM and turn off the computer from Windows and turn it on again, the cursor moves to the CPU and RAM, after which the computer turns off and on. This happens every time I want to turn on the computer? Also, when restarting from Windows, booting into Windows is delayed. Do you have a solution for that?

I have a 7800 X3D, with a 4070. I did the benchmark and I’m 98% GPU bound lol still get strong FPS in multiplayer and zombies it was still 270 FPS, but for when the new map comes out, would you recommend leaving resize bar on or get that thing off in GPU bound cases?
In your case, I'd say it's worth checking the zombies FPS then checking the multiplayer FPS with it on Vs off and decide based on which you play more what's best for you.
better to keep it on if ur GPU bound, ive got the same CPU but a 3080 and i get muuuuch better fps with it on

should I enable or disable re bar with a evga 3080ti at 1905MHZ undervolted with a 5950x fully tunned with pbo and CO with process lasso on ccd 0? just because obviously equipment is different and the drops are very bad with below 100 fps on high amounts of zombies

I'd say disable it on zombies and the upcoming BR, but if you know you have a full multiplayer only day you can re-enable it then, and disable it again once back in zombies or BR.
why is it that in the benchmark with rebar on I lose so 50fps in my 1% lows and have about a 9-10 higher average fps but with it off i gain 50fps in the 1% lows and lose 9-10 in the average but looking at your averages in game look like a much bigger swing? my system is a 4090 and 13900k

Or is it better to install a fresh win11 and then apply the revios11?
I think Revi OS 11 is one of the best choices for performance, but on the 7800x3d I've had some weird bugs with the system being slow to respond in the desktop at times

Even when i have GPUUploadheaps disabled, i still get bad fps in the middle of the map as you described. i7 12700KF 4,9Ghz P-cores, 32gb 3800 gear 1 B-die DDR4 tuned timings and 3090. I'm on Windows 11 latest updates and latest driver (installed yesterday tested yesterday). I get 270fps average from the benchmark with CPU 1st being 149 and GPU 1st being around 220 if i remember correct. I use rendererworkercount 6 which i've tested multiple times to be the best for my CPU (i get the best low 1st and average of about 149 and 322).
I have Rbar on in Nvidia profile inspector and HAGS on and Rbar on in bios. Haven't tried with them off, but would like to keep them on for other games...
Did you extensively stress test the ram? Check if XMP gets the same or better results. That cpu 1% low is kinda low. Something’s up.
@@t7274 Nothing's up. I have gpuuploadheaps at false and hags + rebar on. If i turn off hags or rebar i get higher 1% lows, but the game feels worse. I also get very good fps in Warzone, generally hovering around 180-230 depending where i am in the map while i stream on the same PC.
This issue was only in Zombies, but i haven't experienced this FPS drop issue in Warzone.
It worked 100% now my zombies fps is not going down below 100fps and staying 200fps plus. The multiplayer sacrifice is not even noticable. I haven't tested warzone but if the zombies is better I'll assume that's also running better.

It will most likely scale the exact same, yes!
Vondel has this EXACT issue...which can be solved with the same fix, which tells me that the Urzikstan BR map will perform similarly to Zombies, or slightly worse.
Interesting and I'll try to compare today and keep you in mind of my findings.
I have an i9-13900K + RTX 4090 with Resizable Bar = ON. While I haven't played that much in Zombies, I don't recall any huge frame rate discrepancies so I'm wondering if this is an AMD CPU + Nvidia GPU issue. However, until I test I can't draw that conclusion. I also have a 240Hz 3440x1440 monitor so I'm capping my frame rate at 238.
Too bad they don't have a separate set of settings for multiplayer and zombies because if they it would have been a good enough solution. I would certainly report this issue to Activision so they can make a patch for it.

@@DJaquithFLdid you test in Zombies? I don’t play it a lot but got sweaty thinking I was going to crash in a tier 3 zone I was around 100fps 13700k @ 5.7 all core with 4090. It just plunged like it’d crash. 1440p performance settings. Crazy that there were a few parts of Verdansk that would do the same thing (downtown).
@@TheBrandonAF .. There are two vulnerabilities that windows can disable CPU and memory functions that can have the same effect; this is especially apparent if you're using Windows Defender. Keep in mind I'm slamming my capped FPS which is 238. In addition, I'm using DLSS Quality setting.
@@DJaquithFL I ran some testing on this earlier today using the in-game benchmark. While my average FPS dropped 10-15 FPS, my 1% lows were up 100%. The listed GPU fps average was down from 390 to 355, and the cpu fps up to 430 from 395. This seems like it will almost certainly be the way to go for Warzone, as it has historically been cpu-bound at the top end.

At the moment, the MW3 file DOESNT apply to warzone, but rather the MW2 config file does. In 3 days when the integration happens, the MW3 file will become the one that also affects warzone.
Do u know how to fix packet burst in MW3 MP? My network and PC are fine, so there is no chance that is my fault.
It's either the fault of your router or the servers you are being connected too... Sadly only fixes are to try VPN to different servers or to swap routers.

@@Beefy-Tech Nah, it is not my network. I tried Warzone and MW2 yesterday and everything was perfect. There is a problem with optimisation for some PCs probably.

Guys does upgrading from 7950x to 7800x3D or 7950x3D would make sense if i only play call of duty warzone ? currently 7950x even tuned is kinda bottlenecking and won't go past 170fps with RTX 4090
Its worth if you dont need the extra cores for productivity

I'm getting crazy drops with an Arc A770. I get 140+ at 1080p native with drops to 50, but unfortunately I need ReBar enabled as it would cripple performance on Arc anyway 😅
That's unfortunate man... arc is great given how new it is but the dependency on rebar sadly means situations such as this one where Rebar is terribly implemented puts you in a bad situation 😂 i have an A770 currently being used in my gfs recording of and it has been awesome overall, but I've never really tried warzone on it🤔
@@Beefy-Tech it's a very good card for the price, but like you said, ReBar dependency can be a pain, especially as it's a no-go for people with slightly older systems. I chose the A770 over the 3070 at the time of my build and hopefully it was the right decision 😂 Each driver update gets better and better, so only time will tell

Apparently, there is an issue with M&K players where resize bar off actually helps with aiming/tracking weirdly enough. A lot of M&K players were complaining how different the game felt, me included lol.

All of these fancy features have too many issues in games, especially with frametime. I just run my PC without SMT, GPU scheduling, or reBAR. I haven't had major stuttering issues since. I also don't do any overclocking.
I'd rather have lower fps than frame instability. There is nothing worse than stutter. Nothing.

This is for people that do not have resizable bar enabled in their system bios..
If your motherboard doesn't support it it's best to have it off yes.... BUT IF YOUR MOTHERBOARD SUPPORTS IT AND YOU TURN IT ON IN THE BIOS AND IN NVIDA PROFILE INSPECTOR YOU CAN GAIN UP TO 30% PERFORMANCE AND VISUAL QUALITY.... THIS PERSON FORGOT TO MENTION THAT

Zombies is quite unoptimised, looking in the general direction to tier 3 zone no matter where on the map drops the fps massively.

I get 300fps in mp now after turning off sam and turning it back on after a system clean+resrart+delete shaders, restart pc
