I really like this new DC style from Gan, it's so bright and comic. I really love comics (especially DC comics) for how they can tell interesting and adult stories in a bright and pleasant style, and with such an excellent screenwriter as Gan, I have high hopes for the project ❤️

That's always been a false statement. He's always been a superficial human that doesn't exist. Humans are deceitful, petty, quick to anger, highly sexual, and vengeful. Sure we have other good traits, but to exclude these wouldn't make us human.

I kinda dig it. The ultra soft diffused lighting is getting so overdone to me. Look at Gladiator 1 vs 2. Indiana Jones 3 vs 5. Look at every Spielberg movie or Shawshank Redemption to the muted muddy movies now. It’s become the expectation of a modern movie but it removes any contrast and sense of realism. “Let’s double diffuse it and throw in massive neg fill - doesn’t matter the time of day” Also it looks purposeful for the scene with everyone squinting.

Wonder if they’ll keep the look at the camera and smile in space shot? Only one who hasn’t REALLY done it was Cavill..like when he first flies, he does the same angle shot in space, but doesn’t look at the camera, just quickly speeds back to earth and breaks the sound barrier

@PatrickOnPoint We already had The Definitive Realistic Batman with Batman The Animated Series, why did one had to watch nolan or Matt Reeves's ones which clearly ruins the Character and make it look stupid and uncool by that. Simple reason because each one brings different that's what Batman Character does. Same with The Superman, the man of steel was for also that reason like the dark knight trilogy too. People said the same thing as you For The man of steel and now calling it underrated. I don't judge The movies until I see the whole thing. I always look at the positive side if there is and in this there are a lot of hope of it.
@ this is more like them making The Batman. What exactly did that movie add to the character? The fans wanted Ben Affleck’s Batman instead they gave us Robert Pattinson. So unnecessary when The Dark Knight trilogy was perfect. You can’t top so why bother. Same with this Superman. We all wanted a sequel to Man of Steel. We didn’t get it so instead we get a soft reboot and where does that go? Are they gonna make it to the sequels or give up on it like they do everything else?
