Correct. Based on movies alone, Superman has demonstrated the ability to exceed light and reverse time. Being 2nd place to the Flash is not an insult. It's freaking awesome.
This is where there are factors to consider when it comes to determining how fast a character actually is. Before "Crisis on Infinite Earths" the fastest someone could travel in the DCU was just under the speed of light. Once you reach the speed of light you don't go any faster, instead you start to travel in time. That's how Superman, as Superboy, was able to travel to the 30th Century and back.

The Flash meanwhile is using the speed force and his molecules are vibrating so fast that he can phase entirely through the air easily (or even solid matter). He is essentially in another dimension where physics are different. He can run faster than Superman can fly, and he can break the time barrier without ever leaving the ground.
Question ❓ If Captain Marvel is up to her max flying speed after reaching top speed how can she see where she's flying, when she can't even see the Flash(according 2 u)when he's running?
What if superman was closer to a larger and hotter sun
not only that, but superman has flown to other galaxies in seconds. althoughth by default the flash will always be the fastsst,
@Johnadams20760 on a normal day the flash is faster. But if superman is around a blue sun or is closer to a yellow sun, he becomes faster. There's no limit to his speed, he has no access to the speed force no matter how fast he flies while the flash can only run a certain speed

The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second - not 86,000 miles per second, so that more than doubles Flashes speed as stated here. In the comics, Superman can also exceed light speed as well.

Exactly surely there are some missing points when they make this list. But this list is fair enough. Only thing i dont get is why they considered anime series one punch? Little mismatch. If we consider comic feats for other characters superman is no 2 and flash of course no 1
Video creator obviously didn't exist before the turn of the century. Superman flew around the Earth about 2 dozen times to reverse time within a min and another 2 dozen times to bring it back to normal time.
the logic was i little weird about how he did that, but he flew around the earth faster than the speed earth spins so that it would turn the other way, which somehow made the time on earth go backwards. so he wasn't moving at light speed, but just over 1,000 mph
I think Wally West and Archie Sonic are pretty equal.
Archie Sonic's best speed feats are running across 1001 Universes in less than a day and running between the Cosmic interstate links the while multiverse together and the Sonic Cosmology is infinite judging by statements.

Superman is a character who's speed is constantly changing to fit the narrative. Superman once raced the Flash and barely lost and Flash can exceed the speed of light( one hundred eighty six thousand miles per second)
We can also take into account other feats of the characters, in which, of course, Flash wins, as in the CW, I think it's 4th season (it wasn't the prime of that Flash yet), an atomic bomb exploded, and he spent hours and hours moving and thinking about how to stop the explosion that had already started, or in the comics, in which he saved 500k people in a microsecond, also when, from the other end of the universe, he made a race with a teleport user and won (with a little help, but in the end it's still his feat).
if taking into account on screen feats, than multiple anime characters beat the flash

93 million miles is the distance from the earth and the sun
it takes 8 minutes and 20 seconds for light to reach earth
