When I was young I got sent to a summer chess camp. I don't remember much but one thing always stuck with me from this french chess coach I had and I find it constantly applicable to just about every video game I've played ever since. He told us that every chess player is bound to make mistakes, even the best players in the world. So when you make a mistake instead of malding over it and getting extremely frustrated, accept your mistake and keep playing on as if nothing happened because often the 2nd mistake following an emotional reaction will always be much worse than the first mistake.

Ironically the top ai makes mistakes too. Allowing human plus ai to beat it very consistently.

@Luca-mu6hq Humans plus ai have very consistently short circuited top ai. Look it up. Don't forget we set the tool objective. Also work on reading comprehension.
That Veloce v. Renegades game looked like a typical diamond lobby. Everyone just booming the ball, no real possession or control. Game ends when teamate own-goals.
Diamond is just who is the best thrower. They get to lose. Unless someone brings someone 200 mmr down and leaves at least one player completely lost. Need solo stand back.
Another one to mention is BDS MarcBy8's miss in the European Championship Series Season X, against Vitality in the finals. Marc's one of my favorite players, but that miss seemed to destroy BDS's mental for the rest of that series.
Veloces vs Renegade had to have been EXHAUSTING, it's hilarious but I'm not surprised it ended that way, 4 minute OT's get me genuinely exhausted and it's only at the GC level.
Sunless please keep doing these styles of vids. I love it when u do top # of goals, players, or anything else u can think of. btw plz bring back the top 20 players of the year vids I would look forward to those vids during RLCS off-seasons
As a guy who took like 2-3 years from RL and came back to watch top games, yeah 2018 people look like champs barely today but those days, they were the BEST. Game evolves.

As a rookie to be there in the semi's was already a great result but Vitality dominated that 3rd split and I think the majority of people saw the championship coming towards Vitality (even with the bracket reset that was necessary) I remember seeing this series live and it was such a great series. All the way to game 7, it was everything I had hoped for to happen in the Finals 🤣 but still, some of the absolute peak that RLCS can give us
Sunless should try and expand to other esports and do documentary like videos. I would love to learn about other crazy moments like these in other games. Bro makes esports so interesting fr.
Quick comment about atomic's miss : Exotiik said on stream that the biggest mistake Atomic made was trying to hit the ball on the side wall in the first place (and not on his backboard), and that even if he didn't missed it, it would have been a goal what so ever bc it would have gone straight to exo that just demo Daniel
I still remember that one goal the Spanish import of Complexity missed, that basically ended Complexity and his role. I think it was a Major from the 2023 season. tough
even tho it was anti climactic at first for nrg to lose that series the redemption at season 8 actually makes it a perfect story. easily the best storyline in rlcs history
