      Huge waste of time. I went from 7800x3d to 13700k because of all the quality of life issues and the fact the itx board I had had a pin that wasn't soldered to the board from the factory and quickest replacement was just switching to intel.

      The problem I had was buying a 14900k on my ddr4 platform was going to cost £570 and the 1700 socket is finished. Or buy 14700k board and ddr5 £1000.
      Going to AM5 cost £750 including a new Deepcool ak620 digital air cooler. I should get another generation at least out of this board. I liked my 5800x3d so it was an easy choice and so simple to use. Also the 7800x3d is much quicker than my 13700k setup.

    Hello, I have a question because perhaps, testing so many processors and running tests numerous times, you've noticed something similar. I have a 7950X3D with 6000MHz CL28 Tuned RAM. Additionally, I have Palit's 4090 (quite average - max stable core clock is 2915MHz). I tested the benchmark with MW3, also with ReBar turned off, at 1080p and 1440p.
    My results for ReBar OFF are:
    #1080p overall score - 429fps:
    -CPU: 644 Avg, 484 Low 5th, 415 Low 1st
    -GPU: 431 Avg, 392 Low 5th, 367 Low 1st
    #1440p overall score - 347fps:
    -CPU: 606 Avg, 456 Low 5th, 398 Low 1st
    -GPU: 348 Avg, 311 Low 5th, 289 Low 1st
    Have you noticed that Intel configurations tend to have higher GPU FPS? The CPU result is worse, but due to the better GPU score, the overall result is better on Intel. I previously tested the 13900K, and the GPU result was also about 50fps higher than on Ryzen with exactly the same GPU. What could be causing this?

    I am curious to know if your trinity 360 performance AIO starts to develop problems. I heard they did a total recall with them a while back, so I bought an LT720. I was pleasantly surprised that it was better than the Arctic 420 I had given the differences in thickness, albeit with a louder pump.

    • @Beefy-Tech
      @Beefy-Tech  7 месяцев назад

      I have the Refreshed version of the trinity performance with the fixed pump, meaning mine will be fine.
      The initial batches would fail when the pump wasn't ran at 100% constantly, and by default they don't run 100% constantly so a lot failed.
      Even if mine was not a V2 version with the different pump, I've only ran mine at 4200rpm (max rpm) ever since I've got it👍
      Given it's out of stock everywhere at the moment, the only value options actually are the LT720 and Arctic 420, with few other well priced 360s that perform as well, but I think you made a good choice with yours👍

    Its quite worrying how some ppl had lag for a few days, some for weeks and some of us still lag pretty much every game.
    And no, it's not the ethernet itself.
    Most of us in our country are on fiber with 100mb/s as minimum option..
    Any guide on how you can actually hit someone😅?

    • @Beefy-Tech
      @Beefy-Tech  7 месяцев назад +1

      The server lag issues are extremely region dependent, some regions are way worse than others. I get 1 or 2 servers a day that are outright unplayable, and we just leave, and a couple other servers that feel extremely bad.
      This server issue is sadly still present, and probably the worst part about the game right now.

    So I sold my 13900ks a few months back and switched to a 7950x3d. The intel system was so much snappier in regular desktop usage but the x3d was so much better than intel in FPS for war zone! This makes me want to switch back.

    • @Beefy-Tech
      @Beefy-Tech  7 месяцев назад

      To be fair the intel system has its perks in daily usage, but the 7950x3d can still dominate warzone if set up properly. I have a buddy with a maxed out 7950x3d system that often sees upwards of 20-30 more in the averages, but the lows are still 10-20 better on the intel side, so they trade blows more or less.
      Mind you, most people won't be running the 14900K at 6.0ghz with DDR5 8200mhz either, so that does play a big role🤣

    Can you do a comparison what are the best NVIDIA Filters ?
    yesterday I got my 4090 and this is my first NVIDIA gpu anyway, it’s insane how much clearer you can see, and even tho it takes a small performance hit, I’m still able to get 300+fps, but now about 85-95% gpu usage instead of 60-70% w/ ur config file

    • @Beefy-Tech
      @Beefy-Tech  7 месяцев назад +2

      I don't use filters myself, I use the digital color settings within the Nvidia control panel as it doesn't hit performance at all. I have my brightness at 60% (that's monitor specific) and my digital vibrance at 70% which makes the game look brighter and more vibrant. These don't hurt performance at all. For sharpening, I use only the in-game fidelity CAS at 80% and it looks good for me personally.

    • @kerim_og_9378
      @kerim_og_9378 7 месяцев назад

      @@Beefy-Tech so is the digital vibrance @ 70% the only setting you have changed in nvidia control panel ?
      Maybe you can do a full video with the best Nvidia settings, since there are some settings that may improve performance.
      And is resizable bar off still better ? Because somehow I cannot see a difference between on and off, always mostly the same fps, but only difference is that the GPU usage is around 15% lower with res bar on, giving more headroom for 360fps+, good for 360hz 1440p monitors in the future
      Also res bar ON is compensating the 10-15% performance loss that you are getting using Nvidia Filters, that’s why im using Res bar on

    Merry Christmas Beefy! I know you're sticking with the Intel 14900k tthese days and that's cool, but how does it compare to your 7800x3d/7950x3d? I assume the Intel build is smoother?

      I'm still using the 7800x3d build,and it's an awesome build. My 14900K rig is not very usable for a normal person, or realistic, so id easily say the 7800x3d is an easier and cheaper option for crazy similar performance to a maxed out 14900K.
      I can only recommend intel if you are prepared to reach deep into the wallet for a Z790 Tachyon, or Z790 Apex...as those guarantee good performance on ram and CPU.
      Otherwise I'd suggest 7800x3d as it's insane value for the performance... basically half the price, and it trades blows in FPS with 14900K depending on game mode and map.

      Yes. I plan to do so...but I am thinking to make a tutorial on how to achieve 5.8ghz and DDR5 7800-8000 rather than 6.0ghz and DDR5 8200mhz. To hit 6.0ghz you need minimum an open air test bench, big boy room fan, good ambient temps, very expensive thermal paste (PK3), and a crazy good AIO or custom loop (I'm using a next generation 360 AIO, the Trinity performance from Galahad which is temporarily discontinued), and you need luck for the ram overclocking...loads of luck lmao.
