If there's ONE cool thing about Glover, it's that if you buy it on GOG, there's an ISO in the game files that you can burn to a CD-R and play on your Playstation 1 or 2 that can read burned CDs (or I guess you could run it in Duckstation).
The moment when AVGN started to break down when _Glover_ on the PS1 can handle the controls better than N64 is hilarious. This is just like the _Megaman Legends_ situation all over again in a nutshell.
To me it looks like the PS1 collision detection is broken. He rolled over the edges of platforms and nothing happened. Of course it's easier then! So it seems the N64 version handles controls better and therefore it's way more difficult.
The bit with him pouring with sweat all down his face and onto the controller is a reference to Airplane where Robert Hays is trying with all his might to land the plane safely. LOL.

actually one of my favorite games on n64. the controls were indeed frustratingly janky but still it remains a great memory from my childhood. not sure if I ever beat it but I know I played it alot

Glover was really fun, it just had some wild hit boxes and mechanics that weren't exactly easy to figure out as a child lol but it was rewarding when you eventually finished the game. (Auto correct spelling)

The funny part about the PS1 version of Glover is that its actually often regarded as the worst version. Did you also know that a sequel to Glover was actually planned but cancelled? A prototype demo of the sequel can actually be found online if you look hard enough.
