      Yes it is, what impacts on the performance is the rendering resolution, not the output you go for, the same goes if u use a 4k monitor combined with 1080 render resolution.

Ive done 6950xt and 3080 videos in the past, alongside a 3070 video. Basically, video demand for most midrange gpus is fairly low, except the 6950xt, which people were really interested in and still are! Sadly this game runs like shit and the performance gets worse every season. For the stutter you are experiencing, it could be because your FPS is dropping below your monitor refresh rate and G-sync is not enabled, causing the random stutter in Warzone. I had this exact issue and after trying different methods, I turned on Freesync on my monitor (I'm on AMD) and the stutter went away. What's interesting is that my FPS was already above my monitor refresh rate and I shouldn't have had any issue, but you know it's Warzone. Give this a try and report the results.

      Tbh the Galahad Trinity performance AIO I'm using is actually insane...I've been able to cool 370 watts at room temperature of 20c, and even up to 400watts when I open windows and take it down to 10c (its midwinter here).
      The 4200RPM pump on it is next generation stuff, and the radiator is crazy thick...no other 360 AIO beats it I believe, but sadly the Version 1 of this cooler had faulty pumps lol..I just so happen to have a V2 with a fixed pump...so it's risky buying this cooler given you can potentially get a Gen 1.
      The 7800x3d you can cool with ease! I'm in fact cooling the 7950x3d in my girlfriends rig with a Fearless Assassin air cooler😂🤣

    Have you measured if an OC from the default 5.7GHz all core/6GHz on 2 cores makes any difference to the performance? I assume your power consumption is so high because you are running 1.4Vcore+ which is absurdly high for all core loaded if that's the real voltage. You can obviously run such voltage only in light loads like games but it could still cause pretty high power consumption. I would stick to the default 5.7GHz all core and undervolt to about 1.2-1.25Vcore and maybe set up to 6 cores at 6GHz and tune voltage.

    • @Beefy-Tech
      @Beefy-Tech  6 месяцев назад

      Yes, it's rough 35FPS in the benchmark on its own (from 535 stock with only ram tuned to 570 with 6.0ghz all core).
      I'm game that translates to 15-18 more FPS. The voltage runs in OCCT just fine, but in prime 95 I need to open all windows and drop ambient temps to like 5-10C to not throttle, but none of it crashes despite the unrealistic temperatures I'm testing at🤣

    I really appreciate that video and information, it's good that someone shows tuning which is important for enthusiasts.
    However I think that 14900K is not properly configured and is mispresented in a way. You pushed cores to the absolute max which gives it that ludicrous wattage. Instead, you should've completely tightened all of the timings and settle for 5.7/5.8ghz (maybe without e-cores and 5ghz+ ring ). That's when the chip gets the fastest with its best efficiency. It's all about memory/ring, not cores. I still wait to see a truly maxed out 14900K in your videos against maxed 7800X3D.

    • @Beefy-Tech
      @Beefy-Tech  6 месяцев назад +5

      Hello fam! Thank you for the comment ;)
      With all my rigs I basically disregard efficiency and go for maximum of FPS (max fps within reason, I don't delid or use liquid metal for any rigs) the 7800x3d is also running inefficient here actually! 76-80 watts is high for it, and it normally draws around 60, but I have the PBO Scalar and power limits slapped to the absolute max, which gives it that extra 20watt usage.
      On 14900K it just so happens that when you slap the limits to max, it uses a whole lot more🤣🤣🤣
      I have actually run the 14900K at 5.8ghz with DDR5 8200mhz in a previous video to show people what it's capable off with a small OC on CPU and no timings done on the ram! The video showed solid FPS still, so indeed the crazy maxed out OC is unnecessary...but faster is faster so this "Max" OC version of the 14900K is how I like to use it.

    Hey, bro. Your 7800x3d is performing insanely. I was wondering if you could run a Cinebench r23 run? I am peaking at 19141 and most people I compare with in Mw3 benchmark their CPU isn't close to mine. You on the other hand are blowing mine out of the water. My CPU fps average is 536, while your 7800x3d CPU average is an unbelievable 619. On the other hand I have a 7900XTX and you have a 4090 but I don't think this would impact CPU average fps in the benchmark would it?

    • @Beefy-Tech
      @Beefy-Tech  6 месяцев назад +2

      Tbh I've thought of doing that, and just doing perfect software setup with 0 bios setup...but the issue is default XMP on each kit would affect results, and the default XMP on 7800x3d is 7800mhz :))) which 99% of people can't run at all, meaning I'd have to detune the kit to 6200mhz and copy some timings to simulate a stock 6200mhz kit... basically it's kindof tough to do a proper stock XMP only test on my 7800x3d rig due to the ram.
      Assuming I had a slower ram kit for 7800x3d, both systems then would lose 20-40 FPS Vs stock, as both are heavily overclocked. If you go by that rule, a simple subtract 30 FPS from Urzikstan on both systems would give you "Stock" but with software optimization real performance.

My opinion is that without a doubt AMD's L3 cache is excellent, and the 7800X3D is incredible and the best "for gaming", just for that and regular tasks. It is a great achievement for AMD, now with that concept I would buy a PS/Xbox and play too. Now knowing me, in my case, I got very frustrated with a 5950x3D. @@ac130kz Thats actually bad i guess. I play battlefields pretty much solely. Just quick tested Redacted on my 13900k, 170-200fps average and dipped down to 155-160 when lots of players. And thats with ddr4-3600! I didn't test 1% lows. I am actually considering 7800x3d to my second apartment, for battlefields also, but now i am not so sure?

    I would never choose a 7800X3D over a 14900k. 14900k is much faster product whereas 7800X3D is just a 1 trick pony. 7950X3D is a better comparison to 14900k.
