- Hello all! Today we are taking a look at the FPS performance of Ashika and Vondel after the MW3 integration and comparing it with prior results.

I have Resizable BAR (ReBAR) activated with my 3070 and all settings on low. Usually, I get around 100 FPS when focusing on the center of the map. It's odd because the FPS is high in some areas and significantly drops in others, causing occasional lag that irritates me. I'm uncertain whether I should keep ReBAR enabled or disable it. I started noticing it a bit in Multiplayer as well.
i got the same problem bro in the vondel map in the midlle my fps go 100 but in other parts of the map i fells more smooth and i got better fps
Does Urzikstan still have better lows with rebar off?
hey beefy, I had one more question, how much of a difference does RAM speeds make? I have a 13900k with ddr4 3600, if i were to upgrade to ddr5 7200, how big of a difference would that be for frames? I feel like i’m getting a low score in the benchmark of 380 average fps in 4k, i do run it stock but im worried im holding myself back
It'd help by about 5-8% assuming you had good timings on the 7200mhz ram, and assuming it's full stable. It'll be an improvement for sure, but DDR5 is finicky and you have no guarantees that 7200mhz will even be stable on a 4 dimm motherboard. at 380avg CPU in 4K with a stock 13900k, I don't think you are underperforming or anything. On my stock 14900K +8200mhz ram at 1440P I got 470avg, and at 4K it was around 445avg. So even with crazy bonkers ram and perfect optimization it's only about 60 FPS more in the CPU averages available.

Didn't vrs improve CPU workload. Textures and shaders were always CPU heavy, weren't they? I mean if you're running 24gb of VRAM.
This isn’t topic of this video, but you have covered the i7 13700k before so I thought I might ask you.
As said I have a 13700k paired with a 3080 and Corsair vengeance 3600 c18, I get like max 150 fps on Urzikstan, avg more around 120. is there anything I can do to drastically improve performance? I feel like I should be getting (a lot) more. This is all on lowest settings 1440p
The 3080 can do between 150-190FPS at 1440p depending on if it's Ashika or Urzikstan, so if you are doing less it's game settings, windows version, and overclocks of CPU that'd help out. I can't guarantee that with your current rig you'd always max out a 3080, but if you want to try, I recommend moving to Windows 11 version 23H2, and then applying revi OS playbook ontop of it. If you then also use the config file in my description...it might be a 10-20FPS boost VS a bone stock older windows version with a config applied.
that’s weird, i play everything on medium setting at 1440p. i have a 14700k that’s basically the same cpu as yours with a 3080 (both undervolted) and 7600ddr5 and get 180 on average on ashika, 1% lows are also super smooth. are you sure you’re not thermal throttling or maybe your mobo is “”””overcloking”””” your cpu with bad bios settings?

Hey Beefy. Thank you for this series of heap's option :D. For amd I think if you don't have the advance mode of Adrenaline then by disabling in config it works. But Adrenaline should be basic.
Do you have any comments for Worker Render Count for AMD? I see yours is at 7 but is Intel 8 core i think. I have a 5800X3D 8 core also. Some people say for Amd this time you need to half them. Looking forward to your response.
try between 7-9 for 8 cores, 5-7 for 6. he already covered this in a previous video
@@seibertron500 Thank you for this . Yeah it is the same old story as always with this worker count. I probably missed it in the other vids. This time the only change is that people also recommend to see if it works with 9 even if you have 9 cores. From the day I posted the first message I have put 7 and it works OK. Do you see great differences when you change numbers between 7 to 9 on your side?
@@ChaoticParasite I have a 5600X but I set it to 7. mostly the differences I could notice would be the bottleneck under CPU score but the scores themselves get marginal changes

Big big improvements over mw2 warzone for sure. Incredible consistency too! Ashika in its lowest dips doesn't see sub 300, and vondel at its worst is about 270fps. What we've wanted since day 1
@@Beefy-Tech That’s incredible. I’m running a 240hz OLED rock solid at 236hz max settings atm. Will pick-up a 360hz OLED next year & use your settings to close in on those mid-300s.
Sledgehammer really optimized the mess that was IW’s WZ2 & in record time. They should be commended.

is it now better to active the resizable bar and how wo do that .. in the config file or windows settings ?
I am still not sure. I get better highs with rebar on, but I see bigger dips with it on too while just playing, so it's a mixed bag. Vondel REBAR OFF is 100% better, Ashika Rebar ON gets higher averages but lower Lows, and on Urzikstan Rebar OFF is more consistent.
Personally, I think consistency is more important then the average FPS being slightly higher, so I think I'll go rebar off for my rig.

I can upgrade to a R7 5800 (nonX) for relatively cheap ($40 after I offset the cost for selling a 5600X).
would 8 cores just in general be beneficial in WZ, seeing as GPU bound games don't scale too much from a 5600-5800X. as I have not seen alot of benchmark comparisons about this
the reason I'm getting a 5800 is because the 5800X3D is 70% more expensive than the 5800 from where I live. and also, I have an ITX setup so I'd prefer to not change my cooling or setup to accomodate anything higher than 65w (like switching a case to use an AIO or taller cooler for example) as that would cut into additional expenses.
GPU paired is a 7800XT.
The only advantage for the 5600x according to user benchmarks is better memory latency at +6% It’s lower memory latency due to 6 cores v 8 I’d think and +.10 GHz turbo clock. Splitting hairs kinda stuff really. The extra cores won’t do anything magical for frames tbh but $40 for 2 cores is a good deal. They help if you have have apps running in the background and on start up. Honestly WZ/ cod performance isn’t really worth worrying about. It changes with every update and it’s optimised for console. Then there’s SBBM, trash servers and COD RNG. What’s your monitor refresh rate and resolution? If your 1080p and the 7800xt isnt fully utilised you can up the resolution till it’s at 100% utilisation. That’s the best scenario for any CPU, keep the GPU at 100%. 1440p shouldn’t be a drama. If you can hit your monitor refresh rate without it looking like roblox then that’s all you need for WZ. It’s not a competitive title like valorant or cs go. Those games are designed to run on potatoes at 1080p pushing +500fps.

Why didn't you test Benchmark before and after?
I forgot about benchmark tbh lmao. Tpmbe fair, it performs very differently than warzone maps...so it wouldn't be representing any of the warzone performance, but rather multiplayer.

I found setting my workercount to 9 instead of 7 on my 5800x made a huge improvement.

Again, this seems like an AMD CPU issue bug. The settings that I have on my Intel and Nvidia GPU I'm not running across this issue. In fact, other people have run across the same problem and with AMD CPUs. "350" .. "400" are meaningless numbers without more information about specific settings and resolution.
You could tell from the COD Modern Warfare III 2023 PC Beta that the game engine was better optimised than the COD Modern Warfare II 2022 game engine.
Its a night and day difference in terms of graphical fidelity, graphics card optimisation and none of the constant crashing for months that plagued COD Modern Warfare II 2022.
I wonder exactly how they improved it this much because vondel and ashika look pretty much unchanged in any way visually...but performance wise it's huge gains across the board.
@@Beefy-Techas I wrote in my other comment the graphics are worse now, I have always played with high graphics and now the return maps are really bad graphically, for this reason they have more fps and not because they have optimized the dying of the game

for playing cod and warzone the amd gpu are much better than nvidia, even the 4090 which has difficulty scaling to lower resolutions, perhaps in 2k you would get more fps

I had resizable bar disabled in BIOS, since the beginning of Warzone 3 the game shuttered like crazy (3070ti / 5600x) I turned resizable bar ON in BIOS and let me tell you, the game is turning way better, smooth, higher and more stable fps. FOR ANYONE THAT ISN’T SURE IF RESIZABLE BAR IS EVEN ON IN BIOS, CHECK IT!

You can turn off rebar within the config file of call of duty.
In my previous video about halfway through I show exactly how to disable rebar for cod in config file👍
@@Beefy-Techyes but you said it wasn't very effective so it's better to disable it from the driver (and restart the PC), however for me in general the fps are more stable without rebar in all the maps, even before the update to season 1
@@piero1307 that driver thing is regarding AMD, where you can just disable SAM within adrenaline software.

My fps is same as warzone 2, is there a way to increase the fps?
Maybe your gpu was already maxed out in wz2 and they fix for cpu bound scenarios
I tried zombies after the update and re-bar off still works better unfortunately.
they reduced a lot details here and there, i have the impression they have downgraded both maps removing useless details that impacted a lot the perf... i dunno if it is only my impression

its CoD servers, they cause massive laggs that come as stutters, first i was thinking my fps drops, then when checked no, then i thought mybe my mouse sensor is dying, but no its CoD servers that are DOGSHIT
Yup. It's the servers. Only on some servers is that issue apparent. You can get unlucky and have really shit local servers whichll do that to ya. I'm in the same boat, so I que with friends out of my region lmao

I agree. The game looks like shit compared to MW2. It kinda looks and feels like a mix of Counter Strike 2 and Battlefield 2042. I hope they give us at least the option to change it back the way it was for people who dislike the new graphics.

I was having that problem but if you optimize it right should look better but I have 3080 and I get around 140-160
