- Hello all! Today we are taking a look at a 14900K PC when it is stock and then overclocking the cpu and ram to see how much FPS we gain in Warzone Urzikstan!

PS: 7950X3D footage is 7 months old and from al mazrah when warzone was way more unoptomized! The FPS is NOT representative of todays performance, its just for reference!
Should i put Hyper threading off on ky i7 13700k?
@@lupuradu841 I only put HT off to allow 6.0ghz to actually run. HT on uses extra wattage and therefore heat, so it's good to turn it off when overclocking.
How do I setup 7800x3d not to stutter in warzone,it's fine for every other game just warzone has a bad dip for me to the point where it's unplayable,mouse flick cause it aswell 0.1% are like 40 FPS.i thought the AMD dip was bs but starting to think there is some truth to it.ive got 7800x3d with 6400mhz cl30 and 2133 flck all core pbo at -20,I've stress tested for 6 hours in prime95 tm5 and Oct,also done 2 hours of y crucher so my system is stable to a degree.i get the same issue when stock,or stock and expo enabled.i run custom os atlas I've tried windows 11 too same symptoms, different drivers.chipset drivers installed and drivers not installed,I use you warzone config so rebar is off.dont want to give up but at this point I've pretty much tried everything and nothing gets better,at this point I think my CPU might be faulty,could it be that I'm running amd GPU aswell.i can't try a Nvidia GPU without going to buy one witch I don't want to do really if it's not the issue.any help would be greatly appreciated

@@jaydenclapman6550 I believe you are finding out why Jufes states AMDip is real in Cornzone :/ . I have a 5800X3D + RTX 3090 and do not suffer much from the AMDip in CoD titles however the 1% lows are not as good as an Intel system could be imo.
7800x3d overclocking video PBO‘s and tweaking would be nice next! Love the work, keep it up!

@@mapscorpeclk is really bclk so just disable spread spectrum & just set bclk to 102 & leave it alone

I was able to get my bclk at 102 with a negative all core off set of 29.
and with the latest chipset driver I’m hovering around 4.7-4.8ghz.
gonna see if I can go lower.

It would be nice to see the in game benchmark results. I know it doesn't exactly reflect gameplay performance but it's consistent and repeatable and fun to see the high fps results lol. Thank you!
We hope you will atleast comeback when zen 5 and zen 5 3D comes out. Will be extremely interesting to see how it stacks up in call of duty. U were the only channel properly showing performance in warzone :(
I'm selling my intel rig this month in preparation for next gen Ryzen. I'm just as curious how it stacks up even though I don't theoretically need an upgrade personally xD.

I'm on an extended vacation traveling around fam, my apologies😂 I'd personally recommend 7800x3d and capping FPS at monitor refresh rate because the 14900K requires too much to keep stable and get good FPS from it. I've used the 14900K at 6.0ghz and DDR5 8000 for months, but it also took me a month of continuous testing to get it 98% stable, not even 100%😂

Be mindful of CPU degradation with that high vcore, especially when running a static manual VRM voltage. I would not advice this as daily.
When it comes to RAM tuning, it is not as simple as lower timings = better. There are rules/math to calculate this stuff.
nice bump in performance but that power draw. I have a 13900k air cooled i can't get that high of a clock

Is the 7800x3d working for you currently in Warzone mine has been having micro stutters for 5-6 weeks has it been the same for you?

8000 mt might not be acheiveable for most people just saying. This dude is on an apex which is best for ddr5 oc.
Most 4 dimm boards that majority of cod bros are running are terrible for ram oc.
Yeah you are right. I kinda did show 2 extremes in terms of overclocking, but it does prove that ram is king for call of duty, so definitely worth for most to focus tightening their timings even if they can't up the ram frequency.
i'm still running a 5800x3d with a 7900 xtx , playing on ultrawide 34 inch 1440p monitor . You think me changing to a 7800x3d with a 4090 would get me a lot more fps?

@@Beefy-Tech Dont disable ads dude. You never know when your channel is going to blow up. RUclips growth is usually slow and steady. Especially in the optimizing / pc hardware & performance area. Let it grow and make a 2-3 quality videos per month and you will be fine over time. I know it can be exhausting, doing all this work and it doesnt really pay out now. But if you keep up the good work you will automatically make more money and also sponsors.

What monitor are you using (resolution/refresh rate)? What games are you playing mainly? 7900xtx is fine for most use cases and is almost on par with a 4090 in Call of Duty MW3.
@@samirfa5300 Literally only play Warzone. I play semi competitively, wagers exT250 ect. On a 1440p/260hz monitor. The only concern I had about amd was I heard their drivers can be bugged and maybe it's not as smooth. But maybe it's not a real concern and easy to counter.

Yeah… no thanks to 240w while gaming. That thing must sound like a jet on an open bench. Technically you could put the pc in another room, drill a hole into the wall for a long ass DP port, and have an all wireless setup to mitigate it but f that
Yeah it is a lot of power draw sadly. It's the intel way lmao. I can run it on quiet fans for anything except all core stress tests because my cooling is adequate, but it basically increases the temps from 55-70 to 60-75 to run the fans on quiet mode mid game lmao.

Ring + ram speeds & timings (mainly timings) + bios optimizations make the most impact
2-400mhz extra on ram and 100-300mhz on cpu is pretty negligible

Is it better to disable HT?
Yes. In short it allows you to further overclock your CPU since it will draw significantly less power and thus generate less heat. Take a look at Sugi0lover's channel, 14900k at 6.4GHz.
Most people running off the shelves cooling solutions would already run into issues at 6GHz flat, anything higher is reserved for people running more extreme forms of cooling ( not quite ln2, im still talking about stuff that you can run on the daily but still... I had written a more detailed message but clicked off and lost it sorry...
