If possible, could you benchmark your 7950x3d vs a 14900k in rainbow 6? Best results I’ve seen at 720p were 1235fps in the benchmark and that was on a 13900ks
Yeah I keep Sam / rebar off. My 1% cpu lows in the mw3 benchmark was 170 with rebar forced on and 320 with it off
Yup, my 1% lows are horrible in the benchmark with it ON also...what a shitty rebar/Sam implementation by the cod Devs :/
Hi, if I have AMD components in my PC - Ryzen 7 5800x3D and RX 7800XT should SAM be disabled or does it only apply to Intel - AMD gpu combination?
I'd say try both! It's very easy to see what's better...it just depends if you are GPU or CPU bound. On a 5800x3d + 7800xt I'd say you are probably gpu bound, so keep SAM on.
You should get the 2725DF beefy, it’s amazing. Side by side the 270hz Acer it’s night and day (I got the freesync one xb273u). Only downside is that you got to do maintenance every now and then (moving taskbar, icons, etc).

I have one question, should I upgrade my rtx 3080 ti to an rtx 4080 super paired with my 5800X3D for warzone or keep my rtx 3080 ti. Because I'm gonna stream but I don't have another PC for a dual PC setup and I'm not sure if I should save up for the 4080 super so I can take the advantage of the AV1 encoder and the fps gains which it's gonna be $999.99 or save my money to get another PC for a dual PC setup which it will cost more
Tough question to answer, but basically streaming is wayyy simpler on a 1 pc rig. Dual pc has a lot more nuances that take forever to figure out. If you plan to only stream part time, focus whatever option allows you to use only 1 pc. If you start taking off and having success, then consider dual pc, and definitely speak with someone experienced on how to set it up cause it's not a straightforward process🤣
Idk anything about streaming but you gotta check gpu usage at the settings you play. If it’s under 94 or so then you ain’t getting much more fps with a better gpu until you get a better cpu
Keep your 3080ti and upgrade to 7800x3d with 6000mhz cl30 ddr5 ram. It will give you more performance.
@@jewelersofwhale here’s the issue, my graphics card is GPU bound and I just ran a benchmark for MW3 and my CPU bottleneck percentage was 0% and my gpu is at 100%. And I’m running on low settings with Nvidia image scaling and my render resolution is set at 1600x1072 (90%) 32GB DDR4 3200MHz and when I play warzone, my CPU timing was 3 to 4 ms and my gpu was 4 to 5ms. So I’m not so sure that I should upgrade my CPU if my CPU is not bottlenecked at all and because the gpu bottleneck is at 100% in multiplayer specifically and it’s a similar result in warzone, upgrading my gpu is probably the best option. And btw I do want to use Nvidia’s AV1 encoder for the best stream quality
@@Kendogi just think you would benefit from better ram and 3d cache, the benchmark is not as cpu bound as warzone and mw3 gaming.
Try using a metrics and check gpu usage when you are playing wz. If you upgrade to 7900xtx, 4080 or 4090 you will have a hughe bottleneck instead unless you play in 4k high settings

The ram fan is an old g skill dual ram fan...can't buy it new anymore I believe! I am using a noctua 40mm fan also with it.

@@Beefy-Tech I used to mine cryptos 24 hours a day. 500 watt continuous was already too much!!! My room heated up 2-3 degrees C!
Definitely getting 7900 xtx in next week or two, just gonna wait for 4080 super to do some influence to AMD cards price. Don't want Nvidia anymore... My 3080 died and i already tried 4090 last year, it's great however for more than 2x the price than 7900 xtx is going currently i doesn't worth it :( Any reasons getting specific manufacturer 7900 xtx ? i am thinking about asrock phantom gaming which is cheapest, however does it worth paying extra 200eur to get sapphire nitro plus ?

You just have to disable SAM from the adrenaline menu fam.
Only an AMD GPU paired with a AMD CPU gets SAM. Any other combo will have resizable bar. I think he has a video where he shows how he does it.
Hi bro, I have 7800X3D and 7900XTX and after the recent update I have constant micro stutters on Urzikstan. Vondel and other maps are fine. Have you encountered anything similar before? Or maybe know what is causing it?
It's the bad optimization of the game and the only way for me to get around it is to enable Freesync.
@@CanopusInfinity really? For me it's better when I disabled it... The stutters are less noticeable. But it all depends on display etc...
Also, I'm surprised at your cs2 numbers. I've got a 7950x3d and 7900xtx. I play on 1080p at ultra settings and average over 600 on Mirage with lows in the 350s. Can going from 1080p to 1440p really make that big of a difference? I also thought the 14900k was suppose to be better in cs2.
Here the CS2 results were fully GPU bound at 1440p ULTRA/HIGH settings. My assumption is that the settings were the sole reason behind the FPS. Given the 100% GPU usage, we can't really know how the 14900K performs cause the 7900XTX bottlenecked it.
@Beefy-Tech it's just surprising that I get so much more fps at 1080p. I didn't expect the move from 1080p to 1440p to have such a dramatic impact on fps.
@@christianprice9832 I mean, 1440p is almost twice (1.6x) the amount of pixels vs 1080p. 1920 * 1080 = 2073600 pixel
, 2560 * 1440 = 3686400
Is there any difference to disable rebar between COD config and AMD Software?
If you have an AMD GPU, you must outright disable SAM in the software, and doing it just in the config file won't work. Here, I disabled it both in software and in config file.
If you have Nvidia GPU, disabling only in config is fine.

Beefy tech I still don’t understand why your fps is lower with Sam on. Mine is much higher with it on. Have you changed your priority separation to 26 in reg edit? If not do it asap and report back ;)

What can you deduce stutters on the 7900xtx to?
Using a frame cap and keeping the GPU temps as low as possible helps.

If you only play warzone, yes.
If you can then test the cs2 with rebar off, I got more stability with the 7800x3d and rx 7800 xt using rebar off than on!!

Isn't rebar disabled by default in wz now?
within the config file it is enabled by default, but only works if also enabled within your bios settings.
@@Beefy-Tech ah must be working then. I'll have to try to disable it and see what happens. 13700k + 4080 so should just be able to do it from the configuration file.
@@MrDutch1e yes fam. If you disable in configuration file you are good to go. You can go to the players folder in documents, then options.4.cod23 then use CTRL + F to bring up a search bar and type HEAPS in the search bar. It'll bring up "GPU UPLOAD HEAPS" which will say "true" or"false" as on or off, you'll want to type "false" then save the file in the top left and exit.
@Beefy-Tech I'll give it a go. I get solid fps anyways but might try to see if it helps at all with input delay. Gotta take what you can get in this shitty ass game when you're on MnK input lol.

I have not turned on the heating in my room one single time this winter... on 7800x3d system id get cold af at times...but the 14900K + 7900XTX is a different beast...so much so I had to open the windows to not sweat mid winter xD

How can you blame the Rust 1 percent lows on the gpu when gpu usage is at 80 percent tops? That game is notorious for being cpu bottlenecked
Hey fam, I did not blame the 7900XTX for the rust issue. At minute 7:08 you'll see me specify that the 14900K is the problem within rust.

I actually bought the 7900XTX during the MW2/WZ2 Al Mazrah era where the 7900XTX was as strong or stronger than the 4090 due to how poor the games optimization was and how well the 7900XTX scaled. I already had a 4090, but because the XTX performance was top notch, I got an XTX also...and fast forward to Warzone Urzikstan...and that 7900XTX performance scaling is gone, and the 4090 is outright much better. The 4080 super would now most likely also beat it lol

Their GPUs have have even worse...6000 series was way more inconsistent than 7000 series actually xD. I have a 6950xt also and let me tell you...the 7900xtx is 1000 times more stable lmao.
