He was cocky. Some casuals prolly missed it when he clearly lost to Gordon and celebrated his split decision like it was an obvious win begging Dana for a bonus after an incredibly boring fight. He also talked shit about Ariel and expressed that he people should have to pay him for interviews outside of UFC official. He’s definitely matured and calmed down though.

Genuine nice guy he motivated me last year after my serious car accident his mate that built his gym texted him for me n he wrote back - I personally dont get all the haters saying he jumping on the mental health bandwagon etc ... they should stfu he lost his mate with suicide n he helps and supports lots of people going thro tough times - he spent the time to text me even after he got beat and I guess we both on the road back so i sent him some motivation messages too - YNWA
A year later Im doing better n he is the mans a winner in my book - a credit to Liverpool but trancends all the local stuff he helped so many people already - hope he goes to the top.

You know what's sick about Paddy. After the Gordon fight he was saying it was easy, saving face, adrenaline w/e. But he's just acknowledged that he underestimated him when Jared didn't underestimate Paddy, and acknowledged that it was a mistake and his toughest fight. Paddy's a real one man. I love his attitude, humility and humbleness! 💪🏻
Man, that whole situation with Jarred kind of pissed me off. He was in the heat of the moment and was being cocky in the interview, yes, that is true. What people don't know is that he immediately walked back his position of it being a deserved win, literally the next day. He, Laura and his coaches plus a couple friends went round Vegas to the buffet and clubs and stuff, as people have seen in his vlog. What people don't know is that I edited that vlog, and there's a moment right at the end where they're leaving a venue, I forget which, where he talks to camera walking behind everyone as he comes out the doors and explains that after watching the fight back he thought he looked a lot worse than how he felt he did straight after the fight and he acknowledged that he's got a lot to prove once his foot heals. Someone else cut that part of the vlog before it was posted on YT so everyone thought he truly felt his "I won easily" feelings when in reality if that talking to camera was left in the vlog, people would have figured that he was just in the heat of the moment and hadn't seen how the fight actually looked yet
Paddy said to Gordon that he thought he won the fight. This was on one of the recent embedded episodes
