I still cannot believe the perseverance it took to go out there and do what you did, what you always do. As a survivor of suicide attempts the best thing paddy said was when he opened up about his dark thoughts. When I see people like him and Tyson fury have thought about suicide it makes me realise I’m not weak. It can happen to anyone. Thank you paddy

Lost my brother from mental illness 4 weeks ago. He was the happiest and brightest person I’ve ever met. One of the worst things about mental illness (especially with men) is the stigma it comes with. Just know it’s such a brave thing reaching out to love ones and asking for help. Love the people closer to you just a little harder
After all that work and preparation it must be an incredible feeling to win, and absolutely crushing to lose. I have so much respect for these fighter's mental toughness.

Rest in peace Ricky lad, 2 years ago I came so close to ending my life, had it not been for a call from me friend hours before I planned to go through with it I wouldnt be here. It's been 2 years of pain, growth and learning but I am so thankful and more aware than ever. For all of us who didnt make it and specially for those of us still here struggling; reach out lads, break the cycle our fathers and grandfathers couldn't. Rest in peace Ricky and God bless you Paddy.
