Just my view and hope it doesn't annoy others. £31 a night may be expensive for some but I guess we all look for a price that suits our budget. But the showers we all know personally the cost of energy these days. I think it's fair to have a small charge for them. This saves people abusing the time they spend in them. If free some might just spend ages in them. The other thing it's fair. You for instance young Roz are traveling solo. You pay for one person. A family say two parents and say 4 kids going to be having 6 showers. Also a lot of caravans have there own shower. If your paying for electric hook up they may enjoy using there own shower. More convenient and private, so for them not using site showers no extra charge. And for the site owners putting in very nice looking shower block and maintenance plus the energy costs not cheap. I think as long as the charge is listed pre booking then everyone is aware. Hope your keeping well young lady. Just catching up with some of your videos I've not seen before. :) Fellow solo lady camper here. I lived in my campervan, traveling Australia for over a year, as well as regular holiday trips away. The campervan died and now I have a 1964 era caravan, sitting on blocks as a permanent camp on 152 acre bush block. It's just me, the kangaroos, possums and snakes. I go camping there nearly every week. ahhh, the serenity. :)

Hey Roz, new to the channel and I just wanted to say I liked your firm but fair review of your setup. In regards to your off grid remarks and your heating and 240v needs this could be stretched much further with a solar power generator that can be charged as you're driving via 12v cig lighter or a foldable solar panel you pop up on a sunny day. I think the go pod is one of the better BillyBasic off grid solutions out there. I'm a lover of small vans of various ages and sizes. Thanks for a great intro to your channel.

Yeah, we went to Scotland a couple of years ago. Weather, just like yours, midges, just like yours, we even watched them come in through the fly screen - nothing gets through that, and to top it all, I couldn't find a scenic walk or trail without people and cars queuing up to use it. We're giving it another go next year, better prepared, hopefully. Decent vlog, cheers, Winston's a little trooper!
