Winston, the ultimate companion canine. He earns his tasty snacks! Love to see him snooze with his legs up in the air. Great video!
Fantastic views. Winston is a star…….he managed it better than I could😀
Winston always surprises me, every single time. He’s such a great hiking buddy! Thanks so much for watching
What staggering scenery! Hate the cold but it's beautiful! Good to see Winston enjoying himself. Stay safe. Sid and Nicola, Rugby
The views were incredible. I think it looked colder than it was. When it wasn’t windy, it was actually a lovely day. Thanks so much for watching. All the best x
Great video, my late wife and enjoyed many similar walks in the past. Now 79 and not so mobile I must thank you for sharing your adventures they bring me such joy and my memories keep flooding back . Thank you so much and keep the adventures coming as long as you can you will never regret them . And as for Winston , what can I say he’s having such a wonderful life thanks to your thoughtfulness and kindness. Take care 👍😘
Thank you so much for watching my video and writing such a lovely comment ❤️ I'm very glad to hear that our adventures are you bringing you joy. We will keep them going for as long as we can. Winston enhances my life so much, he deserves the very best 🐶😀
As always cool and calm in the face of possible danger, looking good roz keep up the great work 👍👍👍👍
I'm glad it looked that way 😂😂 Thanks so much for watching.
I seem to say it on every vlog, but stunning scenery Roz. Well done for hiking up the mountain and filming the footage.
Winston fantastic as usual.
Your embarrassment at the Carry On esque mountain name, made me laugh😂.
Glad you enjoyed it! I do love chasing a good view. Thanks for watching.
Thank you Roz and Winston for taking us on this hike.I can understand you Roz when you say views like this fill your heart(or make your heart soar and lift your spirits in my case).People lead such busy lives that they miss what this wonderful world can offer for free if they only look. Looking forward to the next one.Safe travels.
A good view always makes me feel much better about life! Better than any happiness a material object can give me.
Thanks for watching.
I love the country side you show in your videos beautiful!!! Winston is a champ at 12 years young and still going strong. What kind of work do you do to be able to work remote. I would have loved to of been able to do it when I was young. Stay safe and may you be blessed
So glad to hear you are enjoying our videos. I work as a digital marketer generating web traffic 👍🏼 Thanks for watching
You drive too fast down those narrow roads 😂😂😂😂😂🎉 Well done to you and Winston for that steep walk ❤
Rally driving 😂😂 ...you should see Winston in the passenger seat 😂🐶
Thanks for watching.
Hello you two
Yes, a great hike and ice shoes would definitely have been helpful up and down the mountain. I always think that having something with you is better than needing it. Yes, 12 years is already an old age. What do we do when we're old? We don't jump around in the snow anymore. Stay healthy, VG Oldie👍
I was very unprepared for snow and ice. We made it through, but lesson learnt 👍🏼 Thanks for watching
What an amazing day that was. Winston was indefatigable no matter how deep the snow was he was always going to get through. It may say on his birth certificate that he is 12 but with all the tender care and love you give him Roz, to keep him in tip top condition, he probably actually has the body of a dog many years younger.🐶😊😊
He’s a trooper!! He even sometimes surprises me with his endless energy and enthusiasm at his age! 😅
Thanks for watching
Great vlog. What beautiful scenery especially in the snow. I get the same feeling when I get to the top of a mountain .☺️
The views from the top is what makes it all worthwhile! Thanks so much for watching.
Absolutely stunning views - a sheer delight !! 🙂
Thanks for watching. It was a great hike!
Knob 😂
That’s my level right there 🫡
😂
Amazing views on a perfect day. Do you ever take a hiking stick with you to help on steep, slippery paths? Winston is just so in his element on those hikes, thank you for sharing it all with us.
No sticks. I like to keep both of my hands free, especially when needing to film etc.
Thanks for watching. Winston does love a good adventure!
Fantastic as always !!
Thank you! 😀🐶
Agree with the comments, stunning views, adorable Winston. Glad you thought of safety. We are lucky to join you from our comfy chairs. Walking in snow so hard, especially for dogs and also walking where folk have already walked. Really enjoyed as usual, a big thank you for posting ❤
Thank you so much for watching. Glad you enjoyed it. Winston did find it tough, but he dealt with it really well, and he always has a great time 😅
Not suitable for Winston? Roz try telling that to little Winston,,once again Roz thankyou for taking us with you,,beautiful .
Winston surpasses my expectations every time. I was very proud of him that day. Thanks for watching.
Lovely views, I felt the cold watching the video. LOL
The wind was the worst. 🙈 When the wind wasn’t blowing, it was actually a lovely day. Thanks so much for watching our video.
@@Roz.S When we were in the UK last month, it was wind and quite a lot of hail. Never seen anything like it. At least there was no snow!
De rien. 👍🏻
When you said “I’m feeling really good right now“ I could see it in your eyes. Winston is such a good boy, beautiful views!
It was a relief when we had got down safely, and I was still tingling from the great views.
Thanks for watching.
Beautiful landscape 🥰 !
It was fantastic. Thanks for watching.
Another great vlog Roz. I know the area well and am a frequent visitor with friends on our Motorbikes. The road you walked back on is the route that takes you over the Gospel Pass, the highest road in Wales.
Okay, Lord Herefords thingy, a friend of mine pointed it out to me a few weeks ago where it was and like you she is insistent that's where you were however, I always thought it was on the A465 (left hand side going in the direction from Hereford to Abergavenny) and some maps show it as such. (From memory the OS map for the area also shows it as to the left of the A465). Hmm intriguing, I'll have to dig deeper. Look forward to the final episode in the series and thanks for making them.🙂👍
If it helps, here's a link to the route I was following. www.alltrails.com/en-gb/explore/trail/wales/powys/hay-bluff-and-lord-herefords-knob-circular?u=i
From the car park, I went up to number 1, and the across to number 2, but that's when we picked up the road and went back to the van.
Thanks for watching.
Brilliant video Roz,we realy enjoyed it and would like to do that walk in future. Winston made that no problem and some distance with tail non stop wagging.Wonderful dog he is.
You should definitely do that walk. Here's the original route that we were planning on doing - www.alltrails.com/en-gb/trail/wales/powys/hay-bluff-and-lord-herefords-knob-circular
I was very proud of Winston that day. He never lets me down on a hike, even ones as challenging as this. Thanks so much for watching.
Awesome
Lovely as always Winston's tail never stopped wagging .
He's loves an adventure. Even if he does end up neck deep in snow 😂
Thanks for watching
a heck of a hike .....amazing views..wow. Poor Winston getting stuck in the snow...but he seems none worse for the wear...he would probably head right back up tomorrow...lol
One of my fave hikes from the trip. Winston managed the snow really well, even when he did sink through it 😅
Thanks for watching.
Beautiful views Roz, that was an amazing walk for you both. Winston was a real trooper with his little legs battling through the snow ❤
Winston did a great job. I was really proud of him. It was a great hike and alls well that ends well.
Thanks for watching.
Absolutely lovely day and the views to die for but I do think you need a walking staff it would help greatly
Thank you, but I have enough things in my hands. Having something else to hold would drive me nuts 😅😅
Thanks for watching.
That looks spectacular, but exhausting!
The views were amazing. The climb up wasn't that bad. Without the snow, it's just a big hill.
Thanks for watching. 👍🏼
It does fill your heart. Winston loved it. He was made for it. A day off and he will recover. Loved the inversion over the Wye with the snow on the tops. With binoculars in Summer you can see the Snowdon range and Cadir idris from there. I love seeing the love between human and Canine. Makes life worth living.
Wow, that’s amazing you can snowdon from that point! Winston did a great job, I was very proud of him. Thanks for watching
Hi Rox I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again you have a wonderful little dog in Winston I just love him, he reminds me so much of my Border Terrier Finlay, he’s tail wags round like a helicopter rota blade when he is happy and excited. But just would love to say I love all your vlogs please keep them up!?
Thank you so much! We're going to keep creating vlog, no plans to stop just yet. Thanks so much for watching and supporting our channel.
It’s a pleasure Roz. By the way if you do come up to Cumbria these great campsite to stay for you and Winston not forgetting your pod and is between Allonby and Mawbray on the Solway Coast and not far from the Lake District it’s not touristic either!
Need to go to hay bluff on a sunny clear day. Amazing how far you can see .
I bet it's incredible on a clear day! Views for miles! 😍😍
Thanks for watching.
When Winston runs its so adorable.. such glee! That propeller tail must give him a speed boost.
His propeller tail is his little generator. He's like a wind up toy 😂
Thanks for watching.
Lovely Jubbly, simply breathtaking.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
1st of all well done the pair of you great effort on that walk and 2nd no gloves lost you have got to come to Norfolk you and Winston would love it
I don't lose my gloves when they are on my hands, I only lose them when I take them off 😅😅
Thanks for watching. We may head over to Norfolk one day 👍🏼
Fantastic 😊😊😊
Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for watching.
In the great tradition of intrepid British adventurers, Roseanne and Winston boldly climb Hay Bluff and view Hereford's Knob. The vews were excellent; Roseanne's heart soared. At no time was Winston the least discouraged. Oh, and Roseanne was brave too.
We didn't do Lord Hereford's Knob, we missed that one when we re-routed. But Hay Bluff was a great day out, and Winstone enjoyed himself, too!
Thanks for watching.
You're a very brave young lady
Thanks, but I think it looks steeper and more extreme on the video.
Hi, you have definitely made the right choice of employment that allow you the freedom to hike and camp the way you do 👏
I loved the comment that Winston is not as tall as yourself ! That was just cute .
Thanks for taking us along. 👍
It's tiring working and travelling, but it's absolutely worth it when I get to do stuff like that.
Thanks so much for watching.
Just wondering why you don't use hiking poles? Although I appreciate that makes filming more difficult. I'm sat watching this in a very sunny warm Cornwall right now but lovely to see snow on the hills.
I like having my hands free. During our walks and hikes, I may need to hold a dog lead, my phone, my camera, pick up dog poo, check a route, use my hands from scrambling and lifting Winston up big rocks or over styles etc. The last think I want is something else in my hands and something else to carry. I may change my mind one day, but for now, I like to hand my hand free. 👍🏼
Thanks so much for watching.
Thanks for another wonderful video, Roz. The views were absolutely stunning. I fully understand how the hike made you feel good. It made me feel good just watching ! I love the relationship you have with Winston . He certainly is an amazing dog.
Winston is the best adventure buddy I could ask for. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks so much for watching.
Another slice of total brilliance..you two really do make an intrepid pair..loved every second of your video..David..
Appreciate that. Thanks so much for watching.
Enjoyable as always. Thank you ❤
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
Stunning views of a very beautiful place. Thank you.
It was incredible. Thanks for watching.
Hi Roz, great video. The views at the top were amazing, as well as from the road. Winston did an amazing job to climb to the top, as did you. Looking forward to the next video. Hope you are having a good week. 🙂
I loved those views; the contrast between the snow and green countryside. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
And his tail wasn’t still once❤️❤️
Winston always has a great time exploring, even if that is in 3ft of snow 😅
Thanks for watching
Great vlog beautiful scenery thank you for posting
Thanks for watching👍🏼
I guess sometimes when you’re out with Winston having fantastic fun on days like these you must feel like you want to stay out there for the whole day, rather than go back and open your MacBook to pay the bills, eh?
Absolutely! ..and when I get back to the Pod, and after I've had lunch, all I want to do is nap 😅 but I've got to work (while Winston naps!😅)
Thanks for watching.
Bit special
