Winston is such a Good Boy! I love the way his tail whirrs like a propeller when he's running!
As an old codger having been in full time employment for 15 -66 I never had down time and now health issues. I am so envious that you are able to achieve this and all your other adventures so young and free. Anxiety is understandable when alone. You are responsible for ever decision. I know how that feels and when you do anything alone it’s harder. Balance it with the people that would give their right arm to do your adventures especially at your age. Love the series and excited for this trip😊
I am very lucky to be able to do this. I remember sitting at my desk one day working and thinking that I could work from anywhere so why am I sat at home? So I bought my caravan. I thought that if I didn't take the opportunity to do it now, I probably never will.
Thanks so much for watching and following us along on this adventure.
Life is too short to live in your comfort zone. Having said that, Winston always seems to be in his comfort zone.
Winston is just happy go lucky 😅 He would have a great adventure in a cardboard box 😅
Thanks for watching
Never seen a dog wag his tail so much 😂
You’ve got this Roz! First hurdle is the front door, go girlie! Don’t forget, we’ll be with you. Alb….Cam 💐
Trying to take it one campsite at a time 👍🏼 🙌
Thanks so much for watching
It wasn’t long ago you were practicing reversing the pod in a car park and now look at what you’re doing , I’m sure you’re an inspiration to many independent people that they can also get out and adventure. So looking forward to the Scotland adventures, good luck 👍
That reversing practice has came in very handy!! I've had to do my fair share so far on this trip! 😅
Thanks so much for watching and following along.
Ì just love the way winston runs off then turns around to make sure u are behind good luck on your adventures I will be watching them all
Beautiful waterfall. Winston is such a good boi.
He's the best! 🐶
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Winston has 100% confidence in you ... And you should too ! Another excellent, world class vlog !
Winston is a happy to go anywhere as long as I have his toy and treats 😅
Thanks so much for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.
Roz I don’t pretend know how anxiety affects you, but having watched you for the last six months , I just wanted to say your doing great and take confidence from what you have achieved on your own previously. Try to remember what good feels like and that will get you through. Looking forward to the rest of your adventure. David
It's just pre-adventure nerves as I worry if I have packed everything and prepared sufficiently. Once I've left home then there's no need for me to worry anymore because if I've forgotten something then it's too late 😅
Thanks so much for watching 🙌 Glad to have you along on this adventure.
When you've made it you will be proud of yourself and will always remember this journey. ☺ So just enjoy the adventure 👍
Hopefully that's how it goes 😅 Trying to take it one campsite at a time. Thanks so much for watching 👍🏼
Have a terrific two month adventure Roz and Winston, I’m looking forward to watching you both explore and show us the wonderful places along the route. Stay safe and take care.
Thanks you so much for coming along on this adventure. I hope you enjoy it.
If you're spending much of your time in the Outer Hebrides then you're in good hands. Salt of the earth people. Beautiful terrain and amazing beaches. Enjoy yourself, relax, and take it a step at a time.
Great advice! Thanks so much
I've been to the Outer Hebrides twice and it offers stunning scenery. I loved it there! Looking forward to watching the rest of your journey... 👀👍
Wow. Just found your channel recently as we were curious about a Go Pod. Winston steals the show. Mesmerised with the fact his tail doesn't stop wagging. We have two Border Collies and loved all our walking activities. They are 14 now and walks over a couple miles are not suitable, so love the enjoyment of watching your exploits.
Winston's walks are getting shorter and shorter. It is sad but he's still very enthusiastic about them though 😅
14 is a great age, your dogs must be well loved.
Thanks so much for watching 👍🏼
I often think to myself like you described about making that move out of the comfort zone about those astronauts who woke up in a nice warm bed one morning and a few hrs later were strapped inside the top of a Saturn rocket ready to blast off to the moon. I then get my act together at the speed of light...😊😊 Brilliant vids by the way I'm watching them all from the beginning, they don't half remind me of the adventures I had with my spaniel.
That's a brilliant example; I may be having anxiety about leaving the comfort of home, but at least I'm staying on this planet 😂😂
Thanks so much for watching and following our adventures. Glad to hear that you're enjoying them.
@@Roz.S Ha Ha.
I get where you’re coming from with pre trip anxiety. I’ve been adventuring for 20+ years and still get a bit anxious. The same things as you: Should I bother? Have I forgot something? What if I breakdown (mentally😁or mechanically).
The only regret I have though, is not when something goes wrong, it’s when I don’t go on the trip at all.
P.s. I love the worlds biggest post it note with your reminder about the bike being on the roof of Dory😂
Staying home also requires a lot less effort 😅😅
I need that sign because I am the type of person to forget about the bike and take on a low bridge 🙈
Thanks for watching and following on with the adventure 👍🏼
Textbook hitching up.
Love how Winston saw your hand move towards the treats and wanted his reward 🐶😍
He knows that's his pocket 😅👍🏼
Thanks for watching.
Glad you got over your initial nerves & hope you will thoroughly enjoy your trip. It's perfectly normal to be apprehensive but you obviously want to do it more than you don't want to do it (if that makes sense)
Please don't overlook the fact that you possess a quality which many people do not...the ability to be alone. So many people find it impossible to embrace solitude, even for a version very short period of time; it's as if they're scared to be alone with their own thoughts!
I love to be alone 😍 …it’s the ability to be social that I’m lacking 😂 I also find travelling to be better when done solo. I notice more and can experience things fully.
Thanks so much for watching my video 👍🏼
Hi Roz, that was a really enjoyable half hour. Missing the 10am curfew when the tourists are in full swarm is the way to go. Getting barraged by cows is no fun. I have a 3yr old German Shepherd cross rescue dog (Ebony), she is not afraid of anything….Don’t want to think how she would react to cows in close proximity!
Winston isn’t bothered by cows (unless they chase him of course) it’s me that doesn’t like them 😅🙈
Thanks so much for watching. Glad you enjoyed our video 👍🏼
Amazing journey! Very exciting! Hope to see Winston around when in Edinburgh ❤ he's the cutest, hapoiest little chap!!
Winston is the best! But he is a bit shy with strangers at first 🙈🐶 but then he soon turns back into his waggle self 😂
Thanks for watching.
good luck ROZ,,,,BRAVE GIRL,,,,you will be brillant,,,,dont forget ,,it is the first step,,,,,,will be watching you,,thanks
Thank so much! Just taking it one campsite at a time 👍🏼
Thanks for watching
I really enjoyed this video. When I was 25, I’m now 50, i spent one year travelling around Australia. It was the best thing I ever did. Good on you for pushing yourself as this will only give you, and Winston, the confidence to go on bigger and better adventures.
Thank you so much! I’ve already started thinking about the next adventure 😉👍🏼
Thanks for watching
I totally get where you're at with not needing yet more things in your hands 😂 Year's of dog owning and hiking thing's that are classed as 'aids' quickly become a cumbersome hassle! Whilst you're young and fit enjoy the freedom... myself, now older and not fit... just about manage a shorter walk with one walking pole 🤣 xxx
I blame Winston, between his lead, his poo bags, and treats, I have no hands or pockets left 😅
Thanks for watching
My new favourite channel. Randomly came across this and so glad that I have.
That's so good to hear! Thank you very much for watching.
Ive been along the Outer Hebrides in a camper van. I think you will like it. Not so many people. Very beautiful in a wild way. You are very inspiring and I like the detail. I will keep watching.
Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for sharing your experience. 🙌🏼
Hello, your new challenge is great, it is just as you describe it, leaving the comfort zone, it is taking that step, the song you used that talks about that is great! Winston a charm! This time I used Google Translate, greetings
This is a great translation! I wouldn’t have guessed that I was translated. 👍🏼
Thanks so much for watching. Glad you enjoyed the video
Oh darn, I wanted to watch you deal with the cows!! lol
It wasn't very exciting. I just waited for them to move and then sneaked down the path 😅🙈
Thanks for watching.
Looking forward to this trip Roz,its going to be great viewing. Will get some beers in and a huge bag of popcorn,
Cheers.
No pressure then 😅😅 Thanks so much for watching and following along 👍🏼
I’ve just discovered your channel and so glad I have. I am single with a dog and considering getting a caravan for us to go on adventures together. I’ve not caravaned since the seventies as a child and so much has changed. Thanks to you this dream is more likely to become a reality. Am looking forward to seeing more of your adventures.
Great the hear! Glad you’re enjoying our videos and wish you all the best on your future adventures 👍🏼🐶
I’m so happy you and Winston take me to Scotland. Thank you.
You’re more than welcome. Thank you for watching our video.
Hii , I can't help laughing at you sometimes , sorry 🤣🤣... but you are a professional camper long time ago 🥰 ! And I love the way you take care of all of your stuff, a lot of people don't care at all. Can't wait to see the northern scenery /landscapes. I'm going on a weekend trip with my caravan and my "new" car tomorrow ... hmm I'm very excited 😊😊
Glad you enjoy our videos. Thanks so much for watching and best of luck on your adventure with your new tow car 🙌🏼
You're a breath of fresh air Roz, nothing like watching the pair of you walking in lovely places & imagining I'm there too.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you watching our videos and following the adventure 🙌🏼
Good luck , you are very honest and telling it like it is , looking forward to seeing the outer Hebrides.
Thanks so much!! Appreciate you following along 👍🏼🐶
I get you when you talk about being anxious before journeys it's happened to me in the past.I'm wondering if it's because we're single or if couples go through it?Yes, Winston is a star but without you Roz there would be no Winston walks nor You tube channel so pat on the back for yourself please.Your travel plans are looking so good to me.I'm looking forward to seeing
them.Safe travels.See you on the next.
I do think that you have more to worry about as a solo traveller. My biggest fear is Winston if something happens to me. Luckily, I know my housemate will come get him if anything did happen, but it's still a worry.
Thanks so much for watching. More to come.
video quality miles better than when you used your phone. We still carry our Kettle, Toaster and Air fryer in the boxes they came in minus the packaging
Thanks so much! This little action camera with tripod also makes filming much easier. It took a few days to get use to it, but no I really like it 👍🏼
Thanks for watching
Looks like a fantastic trip, can't wait to watch it .
Thanks so much for following along with the adventure!
Nice start to your latest adventure Roz.
I’d like to share a tip with you which I was recently given regarding chemical toilet chemicals, which is to use non bio laundry pods/tabs or just the liquid, instead of even the eco friendly chemicals. So I thought I’d try this on my recent tent camping trip to France.
I use a nappy bucket, as it has a tight fitting lid, for when I need a pee in the night and don’t want a trape across a dark campsite. I usually use the blue chem toilet liquid but this time I added a single non bio laundry pod, and do you know what? It was perfect! No nasty smells, only the smell of the laundry liquid.
When I emptied the bucket there was still only the smell of the laundry liquid and once ringed out, the bucket was very clean also.
So if I were to use a porta potty, I would add two pods or two capfuls to the waste tank and a single measure to the fresh water tank. This will ensure that your bowl smells fresh also.
I’ll be doing this in future.
Oh, and the reason for non bio? If your waste goes into a septic tank on the campsite, the bio will kill the good bacteria in the tank, and we don’t want that. So non bio only.
Happy adventures 👋
That’s great, thanks so much for sharing that tip. I usually use the blue and pink chemicals but they’re not eco friendly and not suitable for most places in the Hebrides, so I bought the eco pods. But after using the pods, I’m not a fan of them. They don’t work that good in my opinion so your tip is very welcome.
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Hello, Yes sorry I'm a Winston watcher 100 % dog lover, humans so so lol
I don't blame you. 😅
Winston says thanks for watching 🐶👍🏼
Starting in Cheshire you could have picked me up near the start. Also with 150kg weight to spare I would fit with a small rucksack of my gear!😂😂😂 One of those waterfalls near Malham Cove has a path running right through the middle of it which takes you up to the limestone pavement at the top. That’s well worth a visit some day. Having now bought into the air fryer revolution you won’t look back, just remember to preheat the fryer first before you cook. Go for it girl, this is going to be a great watch.
Didn’t know you had to preheat the fryer! Thanks.
The van could take an extra 150kg, but the question is where I would put it 😅 You’d have to ride on the bonnet 😎
Thanks for watching
That Winston bloke knows how to demolish a pigs ear. 😛
He doesn't mess around ;)
Thanks for watching.
I know how you feel, prep and checklists help me.
Yep! Lists upon lists 😅 I have a spreadsheet also of all the campsites, check in/out times, deposits paid, travel time between 🙈🙈
Thanks for watching
Une superbe aventure. Un merci de France pour ce partage 👍👍👍👍🫶
Thanks so much for watching and following 👍🏼
Brilliant first video, looking forward to the rest of the adventure… skinny dipping and dodgy cows 😬 whatever next? Have a great time guys 💙🐶💙
Our hikes are always eventful 😅
Thanks for watching
I have travel anxiety, whether it’s on a flight abroad or a car trip to the seaside. Having said that, I don’t get those feelings (and upset stomach!) if we’re going somewhere in our new camper van. Enjoy your trip 😊
Funnily enough, I don’t get those feelings if I’m going away in on a plane 😅 even if I’m going solo. I think we’re opposites 👍🏼
Thanks for watching
Beautiful scenery Roz 👌
It’s a lovely part of the world. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Looking forward to your upcoming vlogs. Love seeing your subscriber and viewer tallies rising. Hopefully this might lead to you being able to be a full time you tuber…and possibly treat yourself to that lovely compact 2 berth 😊
I’m also relieved to learn that you also get pre-trip anxiety, you described how I also feel! (Although on this weeks camping trip I realised an hour into my drive that I left behind my pillows and my dog’s bed. I’ve ended up with a rolled up towel as a pillow and Tilly dog got a hoody to sleep on. We’ve managed and I am far too tight to shell out for a pillow and a dog bed for the sake of 5 nights!) I’ve just walked Chee Dale. Heartily recommend it if you’ve not done it yet.
Thank you so much for following our adventure! There are worse things to leave behind than a pillow and dogs bed, and you made do 👍🏼 and it only added to the adventure. I’ve not done Chee Dale before but it is in my list. Thanks for watching and supporting my channel 🙌🏼

Really looking forward to your vlogs they are brilliant take care and enjoy your travels my wife and I are with you
Thanks so much for the support! Glad you’re both enjoying our videos
Hi, New subscriber here, I'm from the UK too. I also have anxiety, I've had it 5 years since my Mum passed away. Anything new and my anxiety goes through the roof. You can do it, you got this xx
Thanks so much for the support and for watching my video 👍🏼🙌🏼
Be proud of all you have achieved along this life's road I know I speak for all of you followers fan's ect when I say we love the pair of you you give so much joy and happiness to people with out knowing it keep it up as I for one believe in you
Thank you for such a lovely comment! ❤️ We will try to keep the adventures coming. Thanks for watching.
I still get butterflies when I head off on my adventures - go for it girl. Check out the Oban Fish Shack. Love the Western Isles. Make sure you walk the beaches on Vatersay. Climb Heaval on Barra. Uist - our tent got blown inside out. Harris - get yourself a midge hat with veil... Check out the black and white Ealing Comedy Whisky Galore as shot on Barra but based on true event of sinking of a Whisky ship off Eriskay. Oh and Peat and Diesel (from Stornoway) for driving music.
Thanks so very much for tips 🙌🏼 I’ll try to remember them all 👍🏼

Winston has clearly had an active and rich life thus far....what a great find (him you that is)! Enjoy the adventure, just brilliant you can do it and have embarked upon it. Enjoy every minute. Has your Van served you well so far (reliable etc) looks a great small resource?
Van has been good. 👍🏼 She had a clean MOT (no advisories) at the beginning of the year along with a full service, and I've got good breakdown cover which also covers me towing my caravan 👍🏼
Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
That's how I get prior to a trip cancelled two trips this year due to anxiety.Experience tells you what you need and worst case anything you forget on long trips always shops. Have a fantastic trip in Scotland.
Mines not been so bad that I’ve cancelled, although I do feel as though I want to. But once I’ve left home, I’m all good.
Thanks so much for watching and following the adventure!
What!!, you're not thinking of swapping the Pod are you?🤔🙂. Seriously though, I'm exactly the same as you when it comes to going away .in my Microlite, I get all anxious and flustered, (have I locked the house up properly, did I pack the bedding the list goes on) until 10 minutes into 😢the journey when I know the Van hasn't fallen off the back of the car🤣), I've got my wallet and bank card, keys - check etc. I can then start to relax and enjoy the trip.
Look forward to seeing your adventures in future vlogs Roz.👍🙂
I won’t be swapping the pod just yet, but I think I would like something a bit bigger run future.
My anxiety is exactly as you described it; just making sure that I’ve done everything I need to do! 🙈
Thanks for watching.
I guessed you were heading to Scotland, didn't factor the Western Isles in! Can't wait for Galloway and the Cairngorms. Just remember, the sensations we get when feeling anxious are exactly the same as those when we are excited. And this is exciting!!
That's very true! Nerves could just be excitement!
Thanks so much for watching 👍🏼
Winston looks super fit for his age on your lovely walk.👍
He’s doing well for 12. The walks are a lot shorter than they use to be, but he’s still very enthusiastic about them 👍🏼
@@Roz.S
Long may that continue, the companionship with a dog is something special.🐺
Briliant as always . Roz question for you , have you thought about doing a calendar with pictures of the amazeing places places you've been & Winston & maybe getting a little profit out of doing it .
I'm not a great photographer though, I'm just a point a shoot and hope for the best 😅😅 Out of about 50 photos, I may get a good one 🙈😅
Nice to meet your Channel. To know your Island by your eyes is a pleasure, and your inteligent comments, neat and slow speaking makes a cake to enjoy for not english speakers out there. Thanks a lot.
Glad you’re enjoying our videos. Thanks so much for watching and following along 👍🏼
I had a go pod for a season I am in my sixties and realised towing wasn't for me. I now have a campervan which suites me better. I really admire your determination.
I'm glad you found a solution that works for you! Wishing you lots of happy adventures.
Thanks so much for watching.
Hi, I’ve been travelling for decades and I always get anxious before a journey but like you I relax within minutes on setting off. Strange but that’s just the way it is ! I even mentally rehearsed how I negotiate my exit out of a carpark 😂 having spoken to my best mate he is exactly the same !
Loving your travels thanks.
You’ll luv the Ooter Hebrides Roz. Safe travels Quine.
Thank you 👍🏼
@@Roz.S Hi Roz , Quine is an old Scottish word for Queen!
@@AUCHTERMUCHTYZZ and here’s me thinking it was a typo 🤣🤣 Thanks for clarifying 👍🏼
Great video, regarding your weights you say that your nose weight is 75kg which must be added to your van's payload and subtracted from your caravans payload
It's going to be a great road trip!
Hope so 😅👍🏼
Thanks for watching
Hello you two ,
First of all, I wish you a good time. And thanks for taking me to the waterfall.
When a new trip starts, I was always tense for the first 15 minutes and used the PoPometer to hear (feel) whether everything was going well and then things got better. You have to get a feeling again for how slower people go into corners, how they brake earlier and...
But you wouldn't have been able to access the hike with a mobile home as narrow as it was. All the best and have a good time. Many greetings Oldie👍
Thanks so much 👍🏼Appreciate you watching and following our adventure
@@Roz.S Yes, you're welcome. If you live your dream in old age, it's usually too late, unfortunately. Have a good time, best regards Oldie👍
Looking forward to following your adventures on this trip, looks like it will be amazing. Oh how I miss Tesco & Morrisons lol. I showed this to my wife who is from Chile and she is loving the scenery. We hope to be back in the UK next year and I will get to show her some of the amazing places.
Now for the most important part ... Winston, he is one happy pup, always wagging his tail. Love him !!!!
😊 Stay safe
Glad you’re both enjoying the videos! I’m a Tesco girl myself 👍🏼Thanks for watching and following along.
Great start to the trip, particularly enjoying the parts when you’re in and around the Go pod👍
Thank you! I’ve just got a new mini camera and tripod so those shots are much easier now 👍🏼
Thanks for watching
Well done in facing your fears. Each time you succeed in your ventures you become stronger.
However I'd draw the line at jumping in that pool, it looks freezing!! 😃👍👍
Yeah I wasn’t going in there 😂😂 It looked nice though.
Thanks so much for watching and for your nice comment 👍🏼
I love your videos Roz and your accent gets me every time
I have a bit of a weird accent 😅
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Lovely video , Malham does get extremely busy , those cows are very friendly . Looking forward to the rest off the trip . Thanks for sharing
The cows moved off the path and I was able to sneak through 😅🙈 I am okay with sheep, horses, anything but cows 😅
Thanks for watching.
Nice to see you are back on road
Hope your well and weather look good.. over 30° here heading into warm spell July aug upto 42° scorchio
Stay safe hug from Spain to you and Winston x
I understand your doubts completely. The "Why am I doing this?" hits me every time. I have a van but go away with a friend. 4 dogs, 2 people. Once we've gone, we've gone!
As for the poles. I take them out, look at them and do without....
There is a lot of faff with going away in a van/caravan. The packing and the planning is a chore in itself 😅 but like you say, once you've gone, you've gone! And I always end up having a good time.
Thanks so much for watching.
Half hour vlog..that calls for brew and biscuits 🎉
I'm going to try to keep them at 20-30min, although I'm not promising. 🙈
Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoyed your biscuits!
Hi Roz I envy you and looking forward to your adventures good luck and enjoy yourself
Thanks so much for watching and following along
Make sure you have plenty of grooming combs for Winston. Ticks are a problem. I use Brevacta on my dog and found it to be most effective.
Thank you. I get Winston's tick stuff from the vets and I've never had a problem, it might be Brevecta actually as that name sounds familiar 🤔 But he's fully protected. Thanks for watching 👍🏼🐶
Well done you. Have a great trip. Looking forward to following it.
Like your sign about your bike on the roof..
I am the type of person that would forget about the bike and take on a low bridge and lose 🙈😅
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Travelling alone is always more apprehensive as you don't have someone behind you going c,mon this will be great .if it all goes to plan fine !..but if it doesn't that's the story behind the journey. Been there experienced it .toughen up alls good 😂
A few things have not gone to plan on this adventure, but I guess that's what makes it an adventure! 😀
Thanks so much for watching.
Thanks Roz. Great Vlog, great scenery. looking forward to following you on the rest of your journey.
I am in the process of buying a tour in caravan.
I would love to do the adventure you are on but unfortunately my work ties me down, looking forward to watching the upcoming videos of your adventure.
I love the way both you and Winston love each other, dogs are the best.
Best of luck with your caravan purchase, I hope you still get to have many happy adventures!
Thanks so much for watching and following along 👍🏼
Just so excited to be off again with you both. Early mornings are the best times to be up and about. GordaleScar brought back many memories for us and our black Labrador (mountaingoat) . Understand the anxiety, you are very brave. Can also understand about walking poles, do you think you'd drop it, reminds us too much of glove episodes. 😂 Really enjoyed going along and thank you so much for taking us Winston getting famous. Enjoy yourself and make many memories. ❤.
I think I would be forever dropping the hiking poles 😅😅🙈
Thanks so much for watching and following our adventure.
That's a trip I want to do too!
You've probably got it booked already but a campsite I always use in Dumfries and Galloway is Rockcliffe, stunning location, dark skies and plenty of walks from site.
Good luck!
I’m already booked, but I come to Scotland frequently so I’ll check it out for the future. Thanks so much for watching and sharing 🙌🏼
Stunning video Roz! Cant wait to see what you get up to
Welcome to SW Scotland 90% folk just bypass us to head north (which is great 😂 keeps us quiet) if your up near loch Doon, nice walk down the Ness Glen and some nice forest roads at the southern end, this is an amazing area of Scotland but 🤫 don’t tell anyone
I’ll try and keep it to myself 😉

Great to see you and Winston out on another ( very big) adventure and thanks for taking me along . You really have done a lot of planning and organised packing so I hope you’ve not missed anything. Your have a fantastic time.
Your organised, I expect you have all bases covered ie recovery in case of break down.
So nothing to worry about.
Can't wait to follow your adventures ❤
Yep, I got towing breakdown cover along with travel insurance just incase the worst happens. But hopefully, those will not be needed. :)
Thanks so much for watching and for coming on this adventure. 🙌
Keep living the dream...envy you this awesome trip, will look forward to watching more..
So looking forward to following this trip! Thanks for sharing!
Our pleasure! Thanks so much for watching
Wowwww, this sounds so wonderful and exciting and a beautiful trip. I love your mind frame as a self reliant lone woman, I'm much the same, sadly minus a cute pod. Looking forward to watching you and adorable Winston's exciting trip. Would love to go to the outer Hebredies some day. Scotland is out of my price range for the time being. Enjoy!!
Thank you so much for the lovely comment. I am very lucky that Scotland is on my doorstep so it's only a few hours drive away. I hope you enjoy the adventure. Thanks so much for watching 🙌
What an exciting adventure. And you’ve had a good start, your butter was spreading evenly on your sandwich! You do very well to push through your initial anxieties! I work from home too. But sometimes wonder if the trade off for convenience is that my world shrinks down around me! There’s nothing stopping me from getting out a bit I suppose and taking my work with me. But I think if I got a caravan I would get caught in an infinite loop of OCD checking and just spend the whole 2 months in the driveway! 😢New air fryer!! I wouldn’t have to tow that! I’ll make that my next adventure!
Each time I hitch up, it takes me a few minutes before I drive off because I need to walk around and check everything, otherwise I keep thinking something is going to fall off while I’m driving 🙈😅
Thanks for watching and following along 👍🏼
P.s. I used margarine this time 🙈

I suppose in the same way you introduce Winston to new experiences with a graded exposure, that approach might also help with our human anxieties? But I don’t think I’d fancy a dehydrated chicken heart or chicken foot as a treat for me overcoming my OCD tendencies. I think it’s good to be careful and check those sorts of things, so you keep checking your hitch! I had a chuckle to myself when you went to the weigh station in your other vlog and you said, “I don’t like being where I’m not supposed to be!” It would make a good title for a memoir! I look forward to seeing the next instalment of your adventure with Winston!
Great video Roz. Congrats on reaching 10K subs too! 👍
Thank so much! The 10k came out of nowhere 😅
Thanks for watching
I love your outlook on life & your lifestyle .... Touché
Appreciate that. Thanks so much for watching.
That's a really cute and efficient trailer and van. I wish we could have those little trailers/campers here in the US.
Do you not have any other similar micro-caravans? 🤔
@@Roz.S We have nuCamp trailers, but they are not as small as yours. They did import a design of a smaller one, but it is too expensive.
Hi I am new to your channel so very enjoyable to watch absolutely beautiful scenery and of course lovely spaniel 😊😊😊
Welcome! Glad you found us and are enjoying our videos. Thanks so much for watching 🙌🏼
We have a ridgemonkey. It’s a very useful thing. We can cook omelettes, heat up things like your salmon bakes, pasties etc. cook vegetables, anything really. Because of the lid, it steams as well and reduces smells in our camper. There are lots of RUclips suggestions on how to use it. Takes up very little room. Great video as always.
Just had to Google what a ridgemonkey was 😅 Looks cool, thanks so much for the suggestion!
Glad you liked the video. Appreciate you watching 👍🏼
What a fabulous set up you have, best of luck on your travels

Hiya Roz and Winst,
I've watched about half a dozen of your videos at random so far and I'm still intrigued,
it's nice to see a determined lady trying out adventures like what you're doing it must be hard at times.
I often think about doing what your doing.
I'll watch some more of your Vlogs first and maybe get a boost to give it a go.
Thanks for taking the time to do these videos it gives me a preglimpse.
Superb start in a stunning place, big plus to you two, lovely, thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for watching. 👍🏼
