Winston lives the best life...
Winston is indeed a star, but one of two stars.
Ahh thank you very much! I may need a photoshoot now 👍🏼😎
Thanks for watching
Having a caravan means you and Winston have a cottage in every national park.
That is a very good point! 👍🏼😀🐶
Thanks for watching.
Yesterday is but a dream; tomorrow only a vision, but today, well lived makes yesterday a dream of happiness and tomorrow a vision of hope.
That was a well lived day! Bless Winston's wagging tail, it makes me smile.
Lovely quote. Thank you very much for watching and sharing 🙌🏼 Winston’s tail makes me happy too 😊
Love the constant tail-wagging. That is one happy, content, well looked after doggy. A true credit to his Mum!! :o)
Thank so much! I honestly just think his tail has got a mind of it's own 😅
Thanks for watching.
A well-trained dog is a joy to watch
He's a good boy!
Thanks so much for watching. 👍🏼
What a great channel,no click bait,love it
Thanks so much! 😀
Loving your channel and Winston is an absolute star 🌟 will be looking forward to more of your adventures ❤
Thanks so much! 😊 Winston is absolutely the start of the show 😅👍🏼🐶
All your Videos are quality and well filmed as an Australian i could of felt i was any National Park Sth of Sydney you create a mood capturing the Audience attention good work Roz your a good Director.
Thank you so very much! I am still new to this and still learning, so your comment is much appreciated 😀
Thanks for watching.
brilliant dry wall - and so much.
It seemed like a very well equipped site but for £31.00 a night showers etc should be free. They will be charging for the views next ! The Yorkshire Dales are beautiful. I'm pleased your opinion is changing about them. Winston is so loyal and obedient. Love watching him. Thanks for posting.
You're welcome. Thanks so much for watching.
Showers should not be extra; love the enclosed off lead dog park
BEST VIDEO EVER!
Why, thank you 😀🐶
Another great video. Love the pod😍
Thank you! 🤗
quite extroadinary how dogs go into very cold water - no toe dipping - "gosh, thats cold".
Just discovered your videos, so relaxing to watch , can see your love of the countryside , and your beautiful dog, feels like we are there with you, fantastic videos and editing well done
Welcome to my channel!! Thanks so much for watching our videos and following the adventure 👍🏼
1:33 ! I find it mindblowing that you can get a dog with that much energy and enthusiasm to 'wait' on the top of a stile like that !
Love it!
We gave up caravanning because of selfish dog owners who would leave their dogs in their van while they went out for hours and all they did was bark. The worst one was an elderly couple who had their two dogs on a long lead attached to a keep that they placed at the other side of the hedge next to our kitchen window they barked non stop. We had booked for a month and tried to get the neighbours to understand how bad it was. The result was we had to give up and come home a week early feeling totally exhausted. I don’t think you should be charged extra for showers at that price.Your lovely dog is so well behaved well done.❤
I love your coffee/tea mug ❤ I also love dry stone walls. They are so beautiful. The people who make them are very talented. Winston is such a good boy 🐾
I'm ok with the shower fees providing the water is hot - years ago in france you needed jetons for an unknown amount or warm water.
Cool video! You and Winston are brave to get in that water. My feet are freezing watching you two.
It was cold, but not too bad to just paddle in. I wouldn't want to go for a full swim though 😅
Thanks for watching.
I was imagining the cool water and luxuriating in it as we are in the mid-90s°F here in the Eastern US.
If F=[1.8C]+32 then that would be 197°C or so - yikes! 😮
@@dross24MA I think your calculations might be off slightly 😅 The air temp on that day was about 14C, I guess the water would probably be about 4-8C. The water was cold 😅
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Part 3 should be entitled ROZ talks to people x
Steady on, two episodes in a row might be pushing it a bit 😂😂
Thanks for watching.
Love your videos thank you so much for sharing..... Winston is just loving life ♥️.... So I have a pair of wet shoes that I use for kayaking, they are very light and can be clipped to your rucksack when not in use with a carabiner, ideal to slip on your feet to protect them when having a little paddle, maybe you should try some, can't wait to see the rest of your journey 🙏
Great idea! I actually have a little pair of wet suit booties that I use for paddleboarding and wild swimming, I just never thought to take them with me 🙈 TBH I didn't know I would be paddling in the water 😅
Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching 👍🏼
My dog pip Jack Russell springer loves watching Winston ❤❤❤
I’ll tell Winston he has an admirer 🐶 😊
Tried to send you a pic of pip but can't seem to do it through you tube sadly
@@tiffysofcornwall Yeah, RUclips doesn't allow photos in the comments. Sorry.
Pip and me xx
I love the fact that you took the time to take off your shoes and socks, and roll up your leggings, for Winston to get onto the rock and soak the rest of you in one shake! 😂 Your reaction to this was heartwarming.
Winston is always a pain for doing that 😂😂 I've just got to laugh it off 😅
Thanks so much for watching.
@@Roz.SThank you for making them, I really enjoy watching. I'm a bit limited for getting out and about atm - knee op this week - so it's lovely to watch you two on your adventures. Helps me to look forward to getting back out once I've recovered. It's only a minor op so hopefully I'll be back out walking and camping soon. The walk to the waterfall looked beautiful. I'll have to pop that on my list.
@@kerrygoodwin4962 Wishing you all the best for your op and a speedy recovery. Winston and I will try to keep you entertained in the meantime.
@@Roz.S❤
Just found your channel. I love Great Britain such a beautiful country. I'm in the America in the South. We have a lot of people that travel and live in campers and vans. If you get a chance you should come to America and travel America is so vast each state is like going to another country. I lived out west for seven years I believe you and Winston would love it! Thank you for showing your beautiful country.
I would love to travel America one day 😍
Thanks so much for watching our videos
@@Roz.S I would love to travel your country. Me and my late husband who's father was British American, went to London, Dover, and a castle where Henry the VIII children lived. I forgot the name. It was in 98. I fell in love with your country. And I know not a popular opinion but I found the food delicious especially at pubs.
At 31 pounds per night, in my opinion showers should not be extra.
That's what I thought. If the campsite cost per night was cheap, then I could understand the extra cost for showers, but I feel they should be included at £31.
Thanks for watching.
Damn right! Last month we stayed on a private adults only site amongst beautiful fishing lakes and green pastures for seven nights at £30 per night. A fully serviced level pitch with a secure dog field too for Amber our five year old German Shepherd to run around off her lead every day. Oh and the shower block is super modern. Only thing is the piped in bbc 2 radio!
I totally agree with this comment.
£31 a night is rip off!
Your bond with Winston is a joy to watch , happy & safe travels .
I agree that at £31, showers should be included. I'm just coming back from month long trip, at all but one of the campsites that had showers these were included in the cost
That was the first campsite I have stayed at where Ive had to pay extra for showers. Although on this trip, 4 campsites out of 16 had showers that required extra money. I hope this isn’t becoming the norm 🙈
Thanks so much for watching 👍🏼
winston is awesome , your make a lovely cup of tea
Yes Winston is a star and so are you. Enjoying your video's very much 👍 love from Caroline Butler ❤
Very glad to hear you are enjoying our videos and adventures. Thank you so much for watching 👍🏼
I agree showers should be free if paying a campsite fee, especially at £31 per night, winston is a credit to you, well behaved , keep up the great vids x
I feel as though showers should be part of the deal when staying on a campsite 👍🏼
Winston is a great dog to take travelling. Thanks so much for watching
Just use the dog wash !!! I am sure Winston won’t mind !!!
I did use the dog wash. Might have been in the previous episode though 🤔🤔 but I did use it.
Sorry about that. I have only just discovered you,Winston and your channel. I have some catching up to do. Good luck with the channel and keep being you !!!
Free enclosed dog field more than makes up for the shower which seems reasonable if they work well... I've used free showers on sites and you got what you didn't pay for
This is a good point. However, I have stayed on campsites that have cost £25 per night and their “free” (included in the pitch cost) showers have been excellent, and I have preferred them to these ones with the rainfall shower heads (personal preference). So it can be done. But yes, paying 50p for a quality shower is better than a crappy shower included in the cost of your pitch.
Thanks for watching 👍🏼😃🐶
Good morning such a lovely and enjoyable video stunning scenery we love Winston i am so very jealous of your adventure myself i enjoyed the North Yorkshire Moors Sandsend is a nice place to run the dogs on the beach 😊
Love your vlogs! The voiceovers and maps are especially helpful.
Thanks so much! 😊 I've only just learned how to do the maps 👍🏼
Thanks for watching.
Missed your videos for a few weeks so binging now. Good to see Glentrool on your itinerary. I try and get down to that site a couple times a year as there's just so many epic walks and cycle trails around the area. The guys that run it are very chill too.. it's a cracking site 👌 as always, thanks for sharing
Thanks for coming back to catch up 🤗 Its been one of my favourite campsites of the trio (aside from the midges 😅)
I am a Yorkshire Dales fanatic. Used to have a caravan on Orcaber cam site. A very clean site. I do think you were unlucky with the dogs. There are many other stunning trails in that area that I think you would like. Simple but stunning - pasture, sheep, cattle, rocks, stone walls and hills. Nothing really, yet everything. Don't let the experience at Orcaber put you off.
I had a great time at Orcaber and overall I enjoyed the site and I would stay again. I think the dog situation was just unlucky that I had many barking dogs all at once.
Thanks so much for watching 🙌🏼
Thank you for sharing and including us in your adventures. Take care and stay safe.
If you don't like a camera hanging from your neck whilst walking, I can thoroughly recommend the Peak Design capture camera clip. It fits to your shoulder strap and your camera clips onto to it. Works well with my dlsr.
Thanks for the tip! I have been thinking about getting one of those 🤔
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
One very happy dog. ❤
When going into these rocky pools you should put on a pair of crocs Roseanne no worries about where you're stepping and don't have to dry them out 😉 I'm really enjoying your journey ❤
I didn't know that I was going to be paddling, it was a spur of the moment thing.
Thanks so much for watching. Great to hear you're enjoying them :)
The charge for the shower does seem excessive given the fact it has a timer as well . To me it looks as though that as a commercial site they have levied a charge to increase revenue from the tent campers. A bit of a captured audience . Most caravans these days ,the larger ones😂, tend to be fitted with a shower and ideal on a fully serviced pitch.
The facilities do look top notch.
Love the Vlog.
That's something that I forgot to note. If I had a caravan with a shower, I could have used the fully serviced pitch and had my own showers, so I was hit in the pocket twice.
Anyway, it was a lovely campsite.
Thanks so much for watching.
Ive just discovered your channel
Really enjoying it. Love your pooch, Wiston 🐕🦺
Winston is absolutely the star of the show 😅👍🏼
Thanks so much for watching.
I like your sense of humour 😀
Thank you 😅👍🏼
Excellent... really good and a great watch....thank you 😊
You are more than welcome, thanks so much for watching.
Thank you for your reply...with regards to £31.00 a night...it does seem a lot...horses for courses...here 20€ all inclusive.. Andalusia...
Its possible you are considering a drone...well this is only a personal recommendation ( not affiliated)...Hoverair X1...
They do affiliate deals...
It really is very very good and well behaved...
A lovely campsite but expensive and as for paying for showers is just been greedy . Hope you do more camping in the Yorkshire Dales as there is so much to explore . Great video again 👍
I was pleasantly surprised by the Dales. I may have to do a tour of there in the future 🤔
Thanks so much for watching 👍🏼
Bows your Scottish trip going, I am in Orkney at the moment,it is freezin.
Let me just say that the weather has not been on my side 😅🙈
Just discovered your channel. Enjoying your vlogs 🏴
Glad you like them! Thanks so much for watching.
Seems a bit pricey when you have to pay for a shower, that could end up pretty expensive if a family were there for a week. That waterfall was beautiful.
Yes, those 50 pences would soon add up!
Thanks so much for watching :)
@@Roz.S my favourite channel to code to, I look up and Winston's tail is always rotating clockwise :-)
At £31 per night I think its a rip off to ask you to pay extra for a shower. I had exactly the same problem as you Roz when I arrived on site to find my wardrobe door had fallen off in my Microlite. Unfortunately I wasn't as lucky as you and I had to wait until I got home to effect a proper permanent repair. Looking forward to part 3. 🙂👍
It was an expensive campsite, although it was lovely and very well kept. Thankfully, my dog was just a few screws, although I do have to do another repair to it in a future vlog 🙈
Thanks so much for watching 👍🏼
Love Winstons helicopter tail.
Too expensive, too commercial. Thanks for the information 👍
No worries. Thanks for watching 🙌🏼
Ah, missed that you’d moved sites, last one with hedges looks much better….apologies 👍🏼
I'm glad it's seemingly warming up now for your adventures. As a camera person, I was watching the waterfall segment through my fingers! Very stressful, haha.
Very sorry, I'm not a camera person and I have I no idea how to create the best shots. I only have a small action camera that I carry around on a little tripod and I just press the button. Thanks for watching anyway 👍🏼 I'm still new to this and I hope to get better.
@@Roz.S Oh, my mistake, I thought you were carrying a Cannon. I had vision of it going in the drink is all. But those action cameras, the stills that you can take from videos can be fantastic. Especially if you can caputre lightning.
@@janneroz-photographyonabudget I'm so sorry, I completely misunderstood your comment. Yes, I had a Canon M50 around my neck. Again, I don't know how to use it properly, I just point and shoot and occasionally get a good photo of Winston 😅 That camera has survived quite a lot since I only tend to use when I'm out hiking on adventures 🙈
Brilliant pro shot video, Roz, as always. I'm really looking forward to watching the complete tour, especially when you get to Lewis and Harris.
I love how honest you are about anxiety issues and how you explain everything as you go along.
Glad you're enjoying our videos. I like to record from POV and just document what happens. Nothing is planned, so it makes it interesting for me too 😅
Thanks for watching.
The comments you make about dog barking is a valid one, barking dogs and unsupervised children is the main reason that I gave up using camp sites,
Once again a brilliant vlog my wife and I enjoyed every minute thankyou please take care
Please get yourself and Winston some treats!! I'm a new subscriber and love your vids. Scotland will not disappoint you - but I'm biased ; seeing as I live in NE Scotland Happy & safe travels to you both.
Thank you so very much!! Your kind guesture will certainly keep Winston and myself topped up with treats (chicken feet for Winston and cake for me 😀)
After touring around Scotland for 6-weeks last year, it has become one of my favourite places.
Thanks so much for watching and supporting 👍🏼❤️
Thanks for carrying us along on your adventures Roz and Winston, you are giving me courage to get out there and do this myself. 🙏👍👍💞🇰🇾
You can do it! And once you go, you’ll never want to come back 🙌🏼😉
Thanks for watching.
I manage a campground and we do charge for using the showers. If you have an RV with a shower in it you can shower for free so you're not really paying for the shower. What you are paying for the is the showering building and water heaters that the campground has to buy and maintain.
Thank you very much for giving an insight into the other side of things 🙌🏼
And thanks for watching 👍🏼
Fantastic video your pod looks amazing .
Thank you kindly!
Can’t stop binging all your vlogs, we don’t even have a caravan, not yet anyway. But you and Winston are an absolute joy to watch. Looking forward to the next one. 👍🏻
Glad you like them! Thanks so much for watching and following the adventure.
Always love your commentary and the music. No wonder your channel continues to grow. Oh, love Winston too !
As someone who is bang average at cooking, who also owns an air fryer, but not a " bucket " style one, but a 3 shelf carry on, can you give us a full review on the "roast" potatoes out of a tin??
I feel that this could be a game changer for people like me, and cooking potential roast spuds is a dream come true to cooking morons like me.?!!
Keep up the good worm Roz, your videos are great, edited brilliantly, very informative, drizzled with your lovely humour and of course the wonderful furry main man, Winston.
You deserve so many more subscribers than you already have and i look forward to your channwl growing!!
Also the comments section is a breath of fresh air, as it seems to have only people who have good things to say... ?
That ive noticed so far anyway??
I look forward to the next episode where you potentially mingle with some more people? Lol
Like being released into the community?! 😂😂
I think my "roast" potatoes are tasty. Of course, they're not the same as actual roast potatoes, but I still think they taste good and I've been cooking them a lot on this adventure. Plus, I think the tins from Tesco are about 40p and I get two servings out of each tin, so they are great for budgeting.
99.9% of people in the comments section are wonderful. I do, however, still get the trolls. I removed two just this morning - one of them proceeded to comment on every video about how I am a "piss-poor and irresponsible" dog owner for allowing Winston to be off lead. It is their belief that dogs should always be on a lead. Another on how I should be staying home and having children. Thankfully, these comments are few and far between.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting :)
You are becoming a full timer…(full time camper).
I love it!
I really enjoyed your videos. Makes me feel happy and alive
hilarious as usual, thanks Roz
😅😅 Thank you 👍🏼
I drove around the NC500 with a motor home last year. 17 stops at club camp sites over 21 days and I was amazed at the quality of facilities that were on site. From showers to laundry to restaurants…. Brilliant experience 🥰. I did not pay any extra…only laundry.
I do love club campsites. Never been to a bad one! Unfortunately, there are not always in the areas that I was to visit, but I do try to book them where possible :)
Thanks for watching.
We cook pork a lot in the air fryer and find if you do it in strip's it cooks very quickly
Appreciate the tip! Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Really enjoying your vlogs Roz and so looking forward to your next adventure. Winston is a little star 😀
Great balance, keep them comming lady.
Thank you very much! I’m trying to keep on top of the editing 🙌🏼
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Love Winston…such a nice and easygoing companion for your trip!
Its always nice to watch your adventures. can't wait for next weeks vlog.
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching 🙌🏼
Yet another great video Roz. I'm sure I speak for everyone in saying that we are all travelling with you. That ham sandwich butty looked good and I cant wait to see Winston in that pooch carrier! On those dry walls I was once on a solo walk over Malham Way and chanced upon a chap repairing them. Had a great twenty minute or so chat with him over how its done. What a great job.
Well if the showers are good and none push button type then yes I can understand charging.
Winston…..does his tail ever stop wagging?……😂😂😂
Winston waggs his tail in his sleep. He can't control it, lol
Loving the adventure so far!
Very relaxing videos
Great video. That second campsite looks good! We like a private pitch. 😍😎👬
Really enjoyed and your choice of music is great. Good balance putting your socks and shoes back on.
Excellent vlog best so far. Great camera and music quality plus very natural and honest content. Winston on great form and as always so adorable. Thanks for sharing and both stay happy and well.
Much appreciated! Glad you like it because I just got a new camera for this series 👍🏼
Thanks for watching.
I love the 'handle' on Winston's coat. 👍👍👍
Thank you. It's a specifically designed lifting harness. I use it lot when we're scrambling and I have to get Winston up and down large rocks and, of course, over stiles 👍🏼
Thanks for watching.
Love love Winston!
A little late to this weeks vlog, super video again, loved seeing Winston scarpering off in the leads off field at the end, great choice off music as well, very appropriate 👌
Wonderful, What an adventure you both are having, Thankyou for sharing.
Love Winston's trailer!
Nice one Roz 👍 👍👍
Welcome to the cult of the air fryer.I use mine every day.
You and Winston living the dream.
Can't wait for the next video with the dreaded midges. Nightmare.
The midges were not fun 🙈😅
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍🏼
An excellent video Roz. Have to say, Winston eats the most revolting looking treats 🤣He’s such a well looked after & loved pooch. The love you have for each other is a joy to see x
I call his treats his ‘dead animal parts’ 😅🙈 They’re not the nicest looking things, but they’re natural and much better than some of the processed stuff on the shelves.
Thanks so much for watching and following on. Glad you’re enjoying the adventure 🙌🏼
Nice to see the UK your way...so different than America
Love your videos ! God Bless you and your precious winston.
You are so kind. Thanks so much for watching.
Very good balance putting your socks on after padding in the waterfall, keep trying it myself
So far so good. 🖖
Great start to the trip 😎
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Lovely photography and music 😊
Thank you so much 😀 Glad you enjoyed it.
Go Roz ! We are with you 😍
❤your creative presentation, looking forward to Your future adventures.😊
Thank you so much!
enjoying the content. wishing you and winston well on your continued travels
Thanks so much!
Thanks for sharing the way you film. It was very interesting. Winston's treats sound gruesome but he obviously really enjoys them. Your trip seems to have got off to a great start. I think it's a cheek charging extra for showers and for them to be timed!
So pleased you have found a good camp site. Winston looks so happy there. Xx
Winston had a great time! Although he is very easily pleased 😅 He just needs a field, his toy, and some treats 🙌🏼
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
