@@Roz.S I completely get that. Winston is a lovely soul. I've only just discovered your videos and you mention his age and arthritis issues. I am in N Ireland and moved here 5 years from South Africa where I was fortunate to utilise the skills of Dr Barry Hindmarsh at CAMC (Cape Animal Medical Clinic). I am a man of science and not hocus pocus, so was initially skeptical. Barry was able to give my dog Duke 2 additional very good years. I consulted Barry as a last resort as Duke was suffering with severe arthritis. Barry also utilises Chinese medicine and he implanted gold beads in strategic acupuncture points for pain relief and magnets in Duke's joints to change the polarity of acid build up. Duke was in a bad way and one week later he was transformed! He had another 2 very good years until the science no longer worked. I mention the above to inform you of a medical option you may not be aware of and in the hope that it might aid your quest to help Winston 🙏❤️

Throughly enjoy your content. Winston makes my heart melt! Having lost our dog, 15 year old Axle in January, your recent videos particularly have been difficult for me to watch at times, but also quite therapeutic, so thank you. I think back of all the memories of me and Axle before I met my wife and had kids, and we used to go camping alot just the two of us in a 4 man tent with a stove, a chair and a sleeping bag. Then when the kids came along and we got a caravan, even more memories made. Enjoy every minute of your adventures together and keep up the good work with the vlogs!

Thanks for another great vlog. it’s great to see Winston in such fantastic form. I have many happy memories of being on Exercise with the Army as their Padre all over the Brecon Beacons. Unfortunately I probably will never be back in the area. Memories are very precious. Fantastic to see Winston in such great form and no doubt the result of your care for him.

Yes! I'm not a fan of the weather, but everywhere is lovely and quiet and it's great to have the campsite and trails to myself. I don't understand the 'no dogs allowed near the castle' thing either, but we had a nice walk anyway.

So glad to see Winston go off so happily again. He is such a cutie 🥰 Good looking pancakes you made, here in Finland we call them lettu or ohukainen and I like to fry them little bit more heat so they get more colour and delicious crispy lace edges 😋and best topping is whip cream and fresh berries 🫐🍓🥞
Sounds lovely!! When I cook them at home, they tend to get a bit more colour to them. I think it's because I use proper oil at home, whereas in the pod I'm using a spray (and I was very hungry and impatient when cooking them 🙈)

Our dog (Bailey) is 16 in July and takes 1 arthritis tablet daily from the PDSA (just go online) and he doesn’t feel it at all now-highly recommended

Winston had the spinal operation 5 years ago, so he's more than recovered from that. At the moment, he's just getting over a sprained leg; which he's about done. But yes, a success all round. We're 4 days in to the adventure, with over 20 days left! I'll post the vlogs as soon as they're edited. Thanks for watching and commenting.

As far as the weather goes in Wales in Feb, that type of rain was fine. 😅 Today, there's been a weather warning for rain, and it's sooo much worse 🙈 "Crappy" isn't a swear word (or, at least, I don't class it as one). Glad you enjoyed our video. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

Excellent to see another successful test of your Falcon, I asked for this, very kind of you. I thought Winston looked good and he appeared to be rebuilding his walking endurance really well. Again, not a part of the country that I’m familiar with so it was fun to discover it with both of you. You knock up some delightful food in the pod, any prospect of starting another RUclips channel ‘Pod Cooking with Roseanna’?? 😋 😀
No problem at all. Winston is getting better, and we've been on some longer walks since. I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a chef 😅 but I can do the basics and keep myself well-fed. Plus, I only have a hob in the pod 😅

I’m glad Winston is improving - have you tried PRP or Arthromed for him ?
My sisters dog - collie x pyrannean mountain dog - had severe arthritis and had both and she’s now running around like a 2 year old despite being a large 14 year old dog.
Unfortunately, Winston is not good with vets and gets very anxious (I think it's from his experience of his spinal operation) so he's not good with vaccinations. He's on medication and supplements for his arthritis, but the stress of injecting him isn't worth it. Thanks for the recommendation anyway, and I'm glad it's working for your sisters dog.
