    Update on your cart and its durability if you don’t mind sir. I am curious how well the rivets hold the way you assembled it. Turned out great btw Thanks from the US

    • @anglinguntangled
      @anglinguntangled 17 дней назад

      Cheers and it’s held up great so far. No bending or rusting, the pet mesh flooring is still going strong. Had a fella sit on one of the corners putting all his weight on it and it didn’t buckle which surprised me. One thing I’d change, which would be easy for me to do but isn’t too much of an issue, is moving the rear axle back slightly - the cart will wheelie if you load something to the rear before something up the front. For my needs it’s the right size but it’s a workout to push when fully loaded with 30kg (livebait tank and gear) and whenever heading up a dune. But happy with the design

    we pulled 30 from the river not far from here, thought bow fishing for them might be viable but at that entry price I think I will stick with rods unless I come across a cheap 2nd hand set up

    • @anglinguntangled
      @anglinguntangled 26 дней назад

      Yeah they’re bloody thick up there. 2nd hand will be the go for a cheap good setup, will just want a bow with around 30-40lb of draw weight. If it’s a compound bow then all the gadgets will just bolt on

    That was by far the best demonstration and explanation on beach worming I’ve seen. I can’t seem to get the hang of hand worming - three tries and only 1 1/2 worms. Frustrating. I just bought some worm pliers and can’t wait to put your instructions to the test. Thanks again. PS. Enjoyed the Solomon too.

      Glad you enjoyed it mate and hopefully helps you get onto a few more. Using fingers can be tricky, I’ve honestly my skills a lot more with it and found a much slower approach digging you’re fingers deep into the sand behind the worm slowly until you can feel them, then just a gentle squeeze while they’re relaxed. 👍🏼

    • @anglinguntangled
      @anglinguntangled 2 месяца назад

      Well I’m not too knowledgeable with the technique and specific gear for it but it seems to be pretty good rod for it, and it’s a Prevail 2 model. Bit whippy in the tip which I think is good for the style and feels pretty comfortable in lifting most things though I’d feel a bit nervous trying a jumbo salmon out. But yeah good rod
