    I normally use 10lb braid with 15lb leader sometimes 20lb leader depending on the area where im chasing bass i love my creek and river land base bass fishing

      @anglinguntangled  9 месяцев назад

      Yeah have a mate who throws 20lb. Too heartbreaking losing the big ones 😂

      @dwayno_unknown 9 месяцев назад

      @@anglinguntangled you need to use at least 20lb when you are fishing around the upper reaches of the clarence river gorge country when the humble by catch is the eastern cod

    And look out for Tiger Snakes and Red bellied Blacks around those waterholes.

      Yep them too, fortunately haven’t seen any tigers while bass fishing but I wonder if any have seen me 🫣

    What , exactly , are spinnerbaits meant to imitate ? Or do they induce reaction bites ?

    • @anglinguntangled
      @anglinguntangled  9 месяцев назад

      I reckon it’s a reaction bite. A good spinnerbait like these ones have a very powerful vibration you can feel through the rod tip and the combination of this and the flashing blades annoys the hell out of them - this is opinion of course cos who knows what the bass are thinking

      Also I've heard fishing for bass at night with poppers is good fun. Never had the chance to try though.

      Yep that’s the farm man 😁. The lagoons got a fair few big hungry bass in it. Have a sus of my story on Insta, got a donkey on a surface lure on dusk last night
