Karstaag is a boss in the Dragonborn DLC. In Skyrim, there's basically no explanation about him, but he's the ghost of a character from a DLC in Morrowind. I've never played Morrowind myself, so I don't know much about his lore either. 😅 There are Frost Giants in the Dragonborn DLC, and Karstaag is a spectral version of them who's much more powerful. He's arguably the strongest boss in Skyrim and very popular for NPC battles. I hope that clears things up a bit 😄

Karstaag and the Ebony Warrior are absolute beasts for sure! It's hard to compare them lorewise. Each of them could kill Harkon and Miraak combined in the vanilla game 😂

@lSlendermaster no one wants to be remembered as the weakest Dragonborn to ever exist. Many players do change the difficulty to easy, and many more uses mods to level up faster, amd with over-powered weapons like Chillrend, it's quite easy to defeat any enemies. I k ow i used Chillrend when i defeated the Ebony Warrior, and it only took me 2 or 3 minutes, at most 4, to defeat him, and as long as you have a decent amount of health potions, he can easily be defeated. I did also defeat him without any followers to back me up, and i don't summon Durnehviir, Odahviing or any athronachs either. I'm not saying I'm the best swordsmaster and i sure as hell don't really use tactics when i fight enemies, as i only slash, bash and dasj a bit, plus using a little magic, but no shouts or any help whatsoever

@@Chisszaru Fair enough! There are lots of ways to kill him. One of my favorites is turning into a werewolf. The leaping attack is very strong and can take him down in no time, especially if you have the perk for more damage 😆

For me, it depends on how they're made. Those in Skyrim don't bother me much. I have arachnophobia and don't mind the frostbite spiders 😂

@@lSlendermaster yeah my fear is only towards chaurus in Skyrim. The chaurus hunter has such creepy noises, which gives me similar fear to how bloodbugs and stingwings do with the buzzing noises. Frostbites aren’t scary, even with my arachnophobia.

@@abcisawesome3418 Ahh, the sounds can be the worst, yeah. 😂 I find the chaurus sounds creepy in a good way. If they made mosquito-like sounds... I wouldn't be a fan of it 🫠

That's on my list, but Markarth will be awfully difficult to record. With that vertical setup it has, I don't think I can follow everything with the camera well enough, and we'll have no audio for the majority of the video (a technical problem that can't be solved). So I'm not sure when I'll try that 😅

@@lSlendermaster Markarth is the ugliest looking city in my opinion just based off how crowded and narrow it is.

@@H.K.5 Yeah, I agree. Lots of people seem to like it, but I just never caught me. 😂 I think it's the only major city that I didn't explore much. I also want to do a Madanach episode sometime, but I'll have to play through the entire questline first (spawning him before will leave him with his prisoner equipment). I could manually give him other stuff, but there are problems with that too. So I've avoided him for now 😂

@@lSlendermaster Markhart is the best defended city. NPCBattles had to spawn 18 Ash Spawns to conquer it

He has the health of a level 50 dragon, but the damage of a level 10 dragon. He never scales with the player, so they probably wanted to make sure he's not too strong 😄

Maybe the bee is the Dragonborn, and it just doesn't know it yet 😆

Alduin should’ve been the hardest boss in the game, Bethesda really dropped the ball on him. I didn’t even need to fight him in Sovngarde, the Nord warriors took care of him while I sat down and drank beer from a distance 😂

Yup, they're pretty dangerous! I also think most players completely ignore poison resistance, so when a high-level chaurus or falmer attacks, it can be hard to stay alive sometimes 😂

​@@lSlendermasterYou can't resist it at all with resist poison effects only resist magic. Even with resist magic you still can't completely resist it and 100% spell absorption only works 50% of the time so you make occasionally take damage from it.

@@liamyuki2316 It is affected normally by poison resistance. For example, draugr are completely immune to it. It has nothing to do with magic resistance 😄

I think the same! I find it a bit odd that they combined the high health with the low damage, but on the other hand, that makes him a pretty unique encounter

@lSlendermaster True, but all though the game, dragons pose little threat for something that is supposed to be a world ending event.

@@TroySavary If that were the case, they would either be super hard to beat for casual players, or they would appear really late in the game. Comparable to soulslike bosses 😅

@lSlendermaster They should appear later in the game. They should not scale down in level. You face a dragon right after the Bleak Falls Narrows starter dungeon. Unmodded, you can beat it at level 3 or 4.

​@@TroySavaryYou fought legendary dragons before? The have a lot of health and use a shout that will make you use more resources during the battle. Drain Vitality can't be resisted or absorbed and requires a ward to block it.
