Skyrim Battles - Nightbringer Wraith vs. Conjurer, Ancient Dragon, Thoron, and more

I have featured him in an earlier episode, but there are a few differences this time. First, the Nightbringer utilizes the Marked for Death shout, which was glitched and allowed for huge debuff stacking on the target. Caerulean has fixed this issue in the latest version of the mod, which is the one I'm using in this video. Marked for Death now is a lot more balanced.
On the other hand, I'm not using the Nightbringer NPC himself this time, but the Nightbringer Wraith. That one summons the actual Nightbringer, who then has additional summoning spells, leading to a potentially overwhelming army which can make quick work of their victim.
As the Nightbringer has no level cap, I adjusted his level to match that of his (strongest) opponent for each round.
Since the Nightbringer Wraith is based on Dragon Priests, I was facing huge AI issues when recording this episode. They're less common during a regular playthrough, but it made my job very hard, and I'm not aware of any way to solve that. My experimental Dragon Priest fix only works for vanilla Priests.
This is not Caerulean's fault; it's just the general nature of the Dragon Priest behavior.
The Nightbringer is weak to fire, which is the reason why the Pyromancer and the Ancient Dragon did well against him. An Elder Dragon might be enough to win too, but because I got lucky enough to capture the dragon finisher, I kept that recording for the video and didn't investigate further.
The Nightbringer Wraith has low health and no physical resistance, making him very vulnerable if he stays too close to his opponent and/or doesn't summon anything quickly enough. All NPCs in this video can beat him if they focus on him instead of his summons.

The ancient dragon with his color who caught Nightbringer and then the sky slowly clears up and we see the dragon flying in the air + the music, it's magnificent 🥲 (despite his bloody head XD)
And Thoron who arrives, like a hero who is going to kick a boss's butt, the battle was intense, bravo for him ^^ ⚡💪

Ok, the nightbringer wraith is officially my favorite modded creature in this game, it's like the personification of death combined with the dragon priest A.I.

Have you thought about doing a video with the all 3 Gaulderson brothers in their boss room? It might be a challenge to get it to work but I think it would be interesting to see in a wave format with less powerful characters
I have tried that, but it didn't work out, sadly. Scripted battles are always difficult, and the room is awful for recordings in general, so that's a problem we would have to deal with either way. 😅
I'll try again sometime. It's one of my favorite quests and I really like the fights, but there are some things that just don't work out

I know it's less boring to use creatures from mods but the night bringer wraith and hydra are my least favourite creatures. They're abilities are interesting but they're animations and models are an eyesore to look at compared to the ingame creatures. No Offence the mod creators of course, i dont know how to make one myself.😅
Fair enough, thanks for the feedback! The Nightbringer Wraith is definitely difficult for battles because of the darkness, visual warp effect, and so many summons at once. Also the Dragon Priest AI which gave me trouble 😅
@lSlendermaster true, also the Hydra is always winning on every video so best to avoid them unless they have a nice update
For me quite the opposite, the Frostbite Spider animation skeleton goes really nice with the Hydra.
Also Hydra's one weakness is creatures with poison immunity (you can give Lydia the Poison Immunity amulet and she will tank it out) and 1 Nightmaster will probably do the job just fine.
@@artisticbang9111 The Hydra struggles against undead, but those are rather slow fights. I do wish it were balanced a bit better 😅

I have actually put the Nightbringer against the Hydra in my Modded Tournament. That was without the Nightbringer Wraith and the additional summons, but with the glitched Marked for Death 😄

have you thought about doing cursed creature duels? Like pitting up super cursed and/or badly designed monsters you've seen on nexus to compete who's the ugliest and strongest? That's something id like to see anyway, something to distinguish yourself from the rest of the Skyrim gladiator playlist.
Hmm, that's something nobody has requested before. 🤔 I like having well designed modded creatures because it's a pain adding and removing mods constantly, and I definitely wouldn't want to have those in my game constantly. 😅 Maybe for an April fools' episode 🤔
Pyromancers are so underrated.. actually crazy how fast their time to kill gets when their magicka hits the half mark🤣
Pyromancers are some of my favorite NPCs to use, always cool to see them spam fireballs! 😂

Yeah, the Nightbringer is weak to fire. Thoron could still make it if his chain lightning hits the Wraith, but he would probably get stunlocked

How about a faction tournament? like> stormcloacks, empire, dawnguard, volkihar, greybears, blades, DB, thiefsguild, mage college........you put all faction members vs a random one doing a tournament to find the strongest one....would be nice
Those are a pain to make because:
Most NPCs don't have proper combat class.
Are Leveled so harder to balanced.
Faction wars have been done to death in the past Skyrim battles.

@@H.K.5 The Nightbringer Wraith's summons timed out, and he was already at low health at this point, so Thoron could finish him off with a single hit right after 😄
