Skyrim Battles - Draugr Death Overlord vs. Red Eagle, Forsworn Briarheart, Dragon Priest, and more

- One of the strongest draugr in the game gets disturbed by some clueless intruders. This one spawned with an ebony war axe and an ebony shield, which makes him the strongest generic melee draugr in the vanilla game. He's more dangerous than the two-handed Death Overlords, and his shield additionally protects him from physical damage, with and without blocking.
The Red Eagle uses a generic Draugr Boss template and can have the same stats as his opponent here. However, he always spawns with his unique enchanted sword which has a much lower base damage than an ebony weapon, ultimately making him weaker in comparison with another level 45 Death Overlord.
The round against the Arch Pyromancer depends on the map. With a lot of room to move, the Pyromancer can win pretty consisently, but it only takes a few hits for him to die, so he has little chances in small rooms.
On a side note: Unlike vampires, draugr are not weak to fire.
The Dragon Priest is tanky enough to stay within melee range. As long as he doesn't glitch out (which usually happens in some way), he's about equal to the Death Overlord.
Note that this is a fire version, which is the most effective against draugr. Since draugr are 50% resistant to frost, only shock and fire are good elements against them, while fire spells do a bit more damage and cost less magicka than shock spells.
The Death Overlord vs. the Forsworn Briarheart is very inconsistent. The Briarheart's extreme damage but rather low health make for very fast rounds either way. Generally, if the Death Overlord attacks the Briarheart while he's ragdolled, the Overlord usually wins. If he doesn't do that or misses with his shout, the Briarheart tends to beat him pretty often. One or two power attacks with stagger can completley turn the tables around though.
Charstaag is a modded creature by me, based on Karstaag. I needed a final round but have already done Karstaag and the Ebony Warrior vs. various high-level draugr, so I wanted to find a different final boss. The location with the fire in the center fits perfectly for Charstaag!

The Briarheart one actually took me by surprise, i didn't knew their DPS were on par with a Draugr Death Overlord, i thought they were a bit more strong since i generally have more difficulty beating them than DDOs at high levels
Also i have a suggestion: Bosses vs Magic Anomalies but set the player level to 120, since Magic Anomalies scale with player's level, see how much time they last or if they can beat those Magic Anomalies.
@@jacobnicola5950 Death Overlords have a lot more HP, but Briarhearts have more than double the DPS, so they both make for their own challenge 😄
@@jacobnicola5950 I hate Magic Anomalies because they're so weak but tanky. I'm not planning on using them for public videos, especially not at higher levels. To give you an example why:

I knew arch pyromancers were OP but that was honestly unexpected...in these duels mages usually get the short end of stick due to arena layout and stagger of power attacks but those thing's AI is pretty good
He would lose badly in a smaller room, yeah. He did well here 😄
Also it makes no sense a dragon priest isn’t able to shout.

Yeah, especially when Morokei uses the thu'um to drain your magic when he speaks to you inside Labyrinthian
@@keifujitora6587he doesn't, he uses the staff of magnus but speaks in draconic (Dovahzul) warning the player to not come closer
He even speaks in english to warn the player

But you claimed that morokei was using his thu'um to take away the players Magicka in Labyrinthian, thats wrong he used the staff of magnus to take away the magic not his thuum
In Labyrinthian Morokei was warning the player to stay away, he wasnt draining them...
Classic enemy. Solid. I wish shouts were stronger though
One of my favorites! And the frost breath shout might seem weaker than it is because it does damage over time 🤷

I've had something like that in mind. There are lots of problems though. There are too many factions in the game, so the video would be too time consuming to make. If we only include the main factions (the playable ones), it would basically come down to Savos vs. Mercer.
For some factions, it might also not be clear who the real leader is, especially with generic ones. For now, I probably won't tackle this, sorry. 😅 Maybe I'll come back to it at some point. Thanks anyway for the suggestion!

Funny thing, those Death Overlords are stronger than most living Nords in the game 😆

Some of his opponents can't be ragdolled, but I get what you mean 😂
Draughr death overlords can't Spawn with bow and Arrow, but a Draughr Deathlord with Bow and Arrow would probably destroy them with your strat
@@newname4941 Yeah, the Deathlords are worse than the Death Overlords. But they tend to miss with their arrows all the time while their opponent is ragdolled 🤷

Cuando era novato andaba a melee solo espada, escudo, armadura pesada sin encantamientos, ni mejoras de herreria, en ese entonces no sabía aprobechar las perks y cuando entraba a las tumbas nórdicas los señores de la muerte Draugr siempre me parecieron difíciles, hasta que conocí al señor supremo de la muerte Draugr de Laberintia... ese tipo me hizo querer salir huyendo como cobarde pero pase 3 días reales intentando vencerlo hasta que pude a duras penas 😅
I feel that a bit. 😅 The draugr are relatively strong for their level, so they can quickly become a challenge. I remember struggling with Krosis (not a draugr, but a Dragon Priest) when I was level 13 in my first playthrough. Good times. 😂

It's very inconsistent because it mainly depends on the stomps, just like Karstaag 🤷
Dragon priests' AI is worst. They are slow and don't seem to understand that they are bad in close range. Look at the Mage, his AI is so good.
Yup, Dragon Priests have some of the most broken AI in the game. His performance here is about as good as it gets 😂

@@Argist1 Yes, but not fire immunity, and most of Charstaag's damage is from melee. Also, Charstaag himself is immune to fire, so he also takes less damage from the Ash Spawn 😄

Fire weakness is frost or lightning
But melee damage resistance has no one in the game i think
@@Argist1 A lot of NPCs have resistance to physical damage, such as Lurkers, Karstaag and Charstaag from a perk, and any NPC with armor. The Ash Spawn have none though 😄

I won't use custom equipment if that's what you mean, but either way, Thoron vs. a Briarheart would be very highly dependant on stagger 🤷
How about 4 briarhearts vs boss fight Thoron?
@@Supcharged They would stunlock him with no effort, unless his Saints and Seducers do the same with them. Even a single Lurker Vindicator can do that and kill Thoron if he focuses on him, and a bunch of Briarhearts could do the same, just much faster. 😂 It'll be a stagger fest and inconsistent no matter what happens
