- Forsworn Ravagers are pretty strong archers, and it turns out they're even better than expected. Let's see how good they really are in fights!
The Ravager in this video is using glass arrows because he can naturally spawn with them. Additionally to their regular Forsworn arrows, Forsworn archers have a chance to spawn with leveled arrows. The exact type depends on the level of the individual Forsworn. Ravagers can have anything from iron up to glass quality.
When an NPC is getting hit by arrows, those can get added to their inventory. Archers that are getting shot at with stronger arrows than their own will switch to the new ones and use them. This is especially noticable with the Warmonger at 3:50.
The opponent showing up in the blooper at 7:44 is the Nightbringer by Caerulean:

I never imagined to see Forsworn archers would be this deadly!

I like how even during playing, you recognise enemies whose abilities are way over the top in comparison with their appearance. Forsworn ravager archers (guys in fur clothing) have a low health bar but we want to make them stand out, so how do we do that? Compensate it with arrows which inflict massive amounts of damage. How do we make an ''undead Draughr Overlord'' special and stand out from the other enemies? Give him a health bar that suprasses that of a blood Dragon. A ''dremora Valkynaz'' has a pretty low health bar, how can we make him stand out from other enemies? Simple, make him the only enemy with a burning sword to insta-kill any player that never bothered with defence against fire weapons.
You're not wrong. 😂 I like those surprise moments in the game. It's a lot more fun getting caught off-guard, and to see others struggling the same way 😆

I remember the first time I played on legendary at low levels a Draugr Deathlord killed me with like 1 arrow shot lol. From there, I learnt a lesson to never face them without the Deflect Arrows perk.
I feel that! 😂 The melee ones are brutal already, but the archers are something else! 😆
The Deathlord archers are one of those enemies - particularly the ones with the Ebony bows and arrows - that used to catch me off guard quite a lot throughout the game; even at higher levels.
The amount of times walking past that overlooked alcove in an ancient Nordic tomb then suddenly hearing a dry, raspy voice say “Fus-“ from somewhere behind me and knowing what’s going to happen and not being able to do anything about it…

It might have been a mod but I remember getting absolutely trucked by a forsworn archer that had Daedric arrows. Just smashed right through my Ebony armor I was wearing at the time. I was baffled how some fools in furs waving sticks around could be so dangerous, but that didn't make them kill me any slower. Great fights, thanks for sharing!

I think it was the High Level enemies mod ? Harbingers are pretty serious there.

Thats neat how the Forsworn archers use the environment to their advantage. Seems that they are programmed to play to the environmental unlike other archers who just stand there and open fire. I wonder if they would act the same outside of their home turf or if it's specific programming for combat in their strongholds. Great showcasing as always. 👍
I believe all archers and mages act like that, depending on the environment, but some places are better than others. 😅 This area seems to be good for showing that indeed! And thank you!
1. The Bear one was arguibly the most impressive lol. I dunno what it is with RPGs making Bears the most annoying enemies in the game XD
2. The Dwarven Sphere probably would have won if it had gone into close quarters
3. Malkoran's spells seem to basically obstruct the Ravager's line of sight, making his AI just stand there, unable to take a shot
4. Thr Draugr Deathlord basically waited for him to poke his head out lol
5. The damage they were doing to Kaarstag was *impressive*
1. It's the sounds. Always the same and always too loud! 😂
2. Dwarven Sphere Masters actually do much more damage per second with their crossbows 😅
3. Yeah, I'm not quite sure why that happens, but I suppose so too. I've seen it lots of times with Malkoran

Forsworn Ravagers and Briarhearts are so overpowered lol. I remember getting just destroyed by them early in my first playthrough. 😂
Especially the Briarhearts! 😂 Most players don't even realize what hit them 😆

His Forsworms will always amaze me.....They wear full armor that is no better than scale or glass armor, and they manage to take and do big damage with a bow that is not powered when you use it!
Karliah, marauding bandit and falmer......his ravages are violent and underestimated.
Regarding Karstaag.....my god, he really refuses to lose and summons his ice creatures XD, the AI that controls him is definitely cunning and horrible.

Because NPCs have perks to compensate for awful bows, Ravagers do have Extra Damage plus some Perks like Ranger and Staggering Shot.
Wish there was a briarheart variant with extra damage 2.5, overdraw 5, ranger and quick shot

The ravagers were closer to beating Karstaag than Hydra ever was
Karstaag is the one character I vividly remember meeting later on in my first campaign that quickly humbled and basically humiliated me, even though I was quite highly leveled up at the time. 😂
A few guys in furry armor almost take down the creature that effortlessly slayed the Hydra. Sounds like Skyrim! 😆
Karstaag destroys a lot of people at first. Always a fun fight to see though 😆
i had no idea forsworn ravagers were this strong, are they the highest level forsworn besides briar-hearts?
They're badass! Yes, Ravagers are the second-highest tier, just below Briarhearts, except for Forsworn Warlords, but those don't spawn in the game. 😄
There's also Madanach who can reach level 50, but he's not comparable to the generic types, ironically 😂
@@lSlendermaster , The funny thing is that generics like guard, falmer, draugr, dwemer or forsworm are stronger than most npc's that have names o.o
@@judinatheargonianthief1385 Indeed! It doesn't make sense lorewise, but it's for balancing reasons. Although lots of NPCs aren't balanced at all 😂
@@lSlendermaster I agree, and if we had to take an example, it's the companions, Karliah, Mercer, Astrid and others, they have reputations and formidable opponents.
Whereas if you take a giant, a deathlord, warmonger or a Briardhearth, they are almost invincible, even on Expert difficulty XD
@@judinatheargonianthief1385 True! 😂 I do wish some unique NPCs had higher level caps. Especially with the addition of the DLCs. But the scaling isn't good anyway
I hate the high level archers most when i play a pure mage build. They one shot you in higher difficulties 😂 and 0:47 damn dude's got some skills

You mean player level? It's uncapped. You can reach any level as long as you reset your skill levels by making them legendary, although there will be technical problems at some point where glitches appear 😅
@@lSlendermaster Yes, I mean the level of the dragonborn character itself, which we control. Because previously I could not find the last level for my game and character even by using cheat codes! 🤔 Because usually all the games are like elder scrolls. They have a starting level and an ending or max level. But in this game, no matter how much I raised the level of my character, it still didn't finish. Of course, I almost reached level 271. But anyway, I still don't know what is the last level in skyrim game? 🤔

Forsworn arrows are terrible.

Forsworn arrows suck, but glass arrows don't! 😆 They can spawn with those naturally.

It's a modded creature, the Nightbringer! He has no level cap and randomly shows up, which sometimes ruins my recordings but I don't mind much because the bloopers are funny. 😂 Link in the description!
