Hats off to you Adam, you really are ticking therm hills off. Interesting you mention the micro navigation etc... one of the things I have always felt unsure of is paths that go alongside or right through farm properties... most farmers are ok I find but probably the ones that get a little techy are home owners that have bought a property out in the sticks not know there is a row tthrough their land. I was doing a section on the heart of wales line trail last year and was warned of a section I was about to approach - I think the lady must have blink doorbell on a tree or somethingas apparently before anyone approachs she is out giving directions away from her home - even though the paths is marked not just on the map but by the side of the property. As you was walking up the last hill I was panting for you... and then I though, poor maggie's lttle legs...then saw her prancing about having fun..lol Nice one.

@@WyeExplorer Hi Mark ah I’m pleased you enjoyed it. It was a bit of a disjointed walk but glad in hindsight I bailed on the long hike as didn’t have the right prep or energy that day! This little trip has reminded me how much I had missed this area, it’s so wonderful as you know. I think my next few walks will be around here. Yes of course I would love to meet up for a walk here sometime soon. Would be interested to see the loop you thought of! I think I did the version of it which was about 12 miles - fair to say I was knackered when I finished. Over the years I have watched many of Mark's walks and whenever the Wye is mentioned in places his name pops into my mind. I went for a drive up through the Elan Valley with the wife yesterday and as I drove one spot I thought Mark was stood by there doing filming on one of his wye walks..lol atb Alan

@@thevalleywalker Hi Alan thanks for the message mate. Wow 12 miles is a great distance and probably a lot of up and down that valley. It was a beautiful place , I couldn’t believe I hadn’t bothered to go all these years until now! Lovely day out which part of Elan did you go to? I reckon you probably saw Mark lol as he’s in Rhayader this weekend for a walking trip! Hope you enjoyed it there , I found it very beautiful and impressive on my visit and can’t wait to go back. Hope your wife is recovering well. Best wishes
