Lovely views across Talybont reservoir. I remember stopping where you started on my way to Blaen-y-Glyn waterfall and the views were amazing. Will go back soon for the beautiful colours of Autumn.🙂

Lovely walk in a place I have walked and camped. At the rocky outcrop looking down onto the reservoir I have done a few solstice sunrises too. The Brinore Tramway gets boggy because its a popular mountain bike track so doesn't really get time to recover after rain I reckon. I don't walk it from down at the reservoir as I am lazy - preferring to park at the bottom of Tor Y Foel and walk up the track from there... there is a circular route following the tram road.. it makes a nice circuit over to Trefil quarry and then back over Bryniau Gleision and back down the track. It's great to watch you walk in parts of the beacons I know and see your slant on it. Nice one. Atb Al

@@thevalleywalker Hi Alan great to hear from you. I thought this might be in your territory lol! It’s a fantastic area with loads of very long extensions to the walk as you say if desired. It’s also a great camp location I agree.
I agree I love watching others walk my well known routes and see their take on it. Just seen your recent upload will check it out.
Quick question- does the video quality appear grainy or poor quality? To me it seems ok on a phone or lap top screen but awful on a big TV screen. Have adjusted GoPro settings but to no avail I think. I’m not very technical 😂 best wishes

@@adamradford2285 Strangely enough my recent upload was a walk from yesterday and to check out footage from the action cam 4 I bought recently. On a walk I did a week or so ago the footage was awful and grainy - I was walking throuugh a woodland and I suppose because it was dark the small sensors on the go pro/action cams can't really handle low light. I did a few shady areas yesterday so that other footage must have been in a real low light area. I have bought a little cube light to shove on top if I film in real low light again just to bring it up a bit. Your footage looked fine to me on my pc - I usually film in 4k or on myold go pro 2.7k and when uploading to YT upscale it to 4k. You can film in 1080p and when rendering scle it to 4k - it should work ok. Saying that I am not very techie either..lol.

@@thevalleywalker you sound much more technical than me lol 😂. Thanks for the advice and yes you’re right it’s definitely worse in low light conditions.
I film in 2.7k but I use a processing app called Splice which you have to pay to create 4K videos. You haven’t heard of a better app to use , I assume you use your PC?
Glad to hear it wasn’t too bad anyway! Thanks a lot

Lovely walk in a wonderous place, not too high in elevation, very good try on the Welsh place names, unlike others, but you must remember, when you see an F in Welsh you actually say a V, when you see FF in Welsh that is an F (in English).

@@NatSatFat Thanks for the comment much appreciated! Thanks for the advice about pronunciation, it is hard being from southern England originally 😂 living in wales now. Need to work on it though and practice more. I need to talk to more welsh speakers that would really help. Best wishes

@@adamradford2285 I would not bother learning the Welsh Language ( unless you can/want to immerse yourself in it for 24/7/12/365 it is very hard to learn off the cuff, BUT Place names are another matter, as long as you are dilligent about learning the LETTERS, it will be no problem, ( ok there is no prob about saying things like "shum ay butt",((this is an English translation, but you should know what I mean)), If you want a bit of help with this no probs, on youtube, letme know, no idea how.
