  • If you’re in your home right now, could you do us a favor? Look around it. Take it all in. Look at all the stuff you have in it, where your bed, kitchen, bathroom, whatever you have there, take a look and appreciate what you have. As you all know, there are millions upon millions of people in the world who don’t have homes, and it’s a sad thing to witness. Then, there are those who have the most extravagant homes possibly and we go, “Really, though?” And then, there are the people who have homes…but those homes aren’t exactly the most…standard affairs that you can picture. So with that in mind, allow us to show you the 20 Strangest Places Where People Actually Live.

The people in Brazilian favelas are the nicest, most respectful, humble people you could ever meet. I am an American and bought a house in Jacare, the 2nd largest favela, and i don’t even have to lock my doors. Believe it or not the favelas have a code of honor where, theft, robbery, $exual Assault and “touching” minors is totally unacceptable and violators get dealt with by the community. As long as you know SOMEONE who lives there or respected there you are VERY SAFE!

    • @Gorgeous493
      @Gorgeous493 Месяц назад

That's exactly what makes them dangerous, the " as long as you know someone" part. If a place sees a stranger and immediately feels the need to harm them because they don't anybody there?! Just stay away from there.
I say this will all due respect. I'm in SA, born and bread, and I would not dare go to the Cape Flats without "someone known there" because Cape Flats are dangerous just like the favelas, simple as that.

It is kind of weird that more of the people don't want to move tho. Other than the money aspect. Aren't they like the most populated or OVERpopulated country? Them and India. Weird. I would have to go out of the area at least once a month for items or have them delivered, but either way. I love places like this. It's not too crowded, just perfect.
It is a good idea, but the company of government needs to stop focusing on making the Rich happy and instead make everyone happy.

I'm surprised some of those favelas do not have devastating fires. I doubt there is any fire proofing, the structures are wood, and most cooking is with charcoal or fire. If there is any electricity I doubt it is installed in a safe manner. If one structure at the bottom caught on fire it would quickly run up and spread out all the way to.the top.

My thoughts about this, is that if you don't have a house for children, you shouldn't be having SO MANY of them !!! It's VERY obvious that there's A LOT of people who don't understand that.... there's a very serious overpopulation problem on this Earth in certain places..... these people REALLY need to be educated about this... The MAIN thing that will TRULY help these people who have to live like this, is to provide BIRTH CONTROL for them, Now that would really help a lot.... then the people in these heavily overpopulated countries would be able to live better lives...❤

You are absolutely right. I share as God's Holy Spirit leads me to. In many of the comment sections, on many videos, on many topics. My channel also has a lot of videos of God's Word.
"For the Son of Man has come to seek and save that which was lost."
      Luke 19:10
Perhaps no one comes to Christ apart from the prayers of at least one other person. We want be able to verify this until heaven, however, more people will have the opportunity to come to Christ if we pray than if we don't.
Pray: Lord, because You came to earth, I have been saved for the purpose of living a life that is Christlike and to pray for the salvation of all who are lost. You found me when I was lost and living apart from the fullness of life You promise to those who love You. Thank You for allowing someone to pray for my salvation, for putting people in my life to speak of You, and for convicting my heart through Your Holy Spirit of the sin in my life. Thank You for the greatest act of sacrificial love... dying on a cross for my salvation and the salvation of all those who have yet to call You Lord and Savior. May I have the privilege of praying thousands into Your Kingdom.
In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
"Then He said to His disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore , beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest."
      Matthew 9:37-38
My blessings to you and your family,

Those Brazilian favelas have a good location on hillsides. They could be knocked down and rebuilt in that style but for rich people to live in.

They picked the wrong place for number 11. That house should be up closer to the cliff and on flat land. What's the point of walking 100 yards to get to the house. It should be on the level ground.

I just don't see the logic behind feeling even better about oneself because others may not have homes.
Especially when the cause of the fact, is the policy that everyone is pressured into partaking in the economy and not due to an insufficiency of resources.
    It should be depressing.
