Brilliant Adam. Good to see you in Rhayader amid the river, the falls and the Red Kites. Ah, mate your encouraging me to get up Gwastedyn now. Awesome up there. As I said to you I was meant to be up there last time but there was a storm and it wouldn't have been pleasant. But yeah typical Cambrian views in Mid wales and a fantastic peak at the course of the Wye. You got it right Moelfryn right in the middle. Well, good going. All the best. Mark
@@WyeExplorer Hi Mark thanks a lot for the comment , it really was fantastic, you certainly inspired me to go to Rhayader and mid wales (I usually bypass it on the way to snowdonia) but it really was fantastic and can’t wait to go back. Thanks for the inspiration! Yeah I remember the storm you were up on Gamallt in extreme winds 😂 , agree best avoided. I hope you get there soon, would be good to watch your take on it. The first bit was very steep but eases up for the second half of the walk. Best wishes
@@adamradford2285 A real pleasure to watch and comment Adam - anything in that area mate. And that's cool about the inspiration - it works the other way too. I so look forward to my own walk up there. No, it wasn't the best of days for Gwastedyn - so another time. Soon! Thanks for the heads up. Peace.
@@WyeExplorer nice one thanks , definitely look forward to when you get up there. Have a great week and happy birthday for this week I think. Best wishes
You deffo do some lesser known hills/mountains Adam... great views. I was thinking you was pointing at might be Moelfryne with Gamallt on the right as you look up the valley? There are more expert people around who will help though I am sure. That is a cracking cairn on that hill. Not sure if you have done the Carneddau above Builth but they are worth a look. Have a great weekend. atb Al
@@thevalleywalker Hi Al thanks for the message , in hindsight it was Gamallt on the right and Moelfryn on the left with another one in the middle 😂, fantastic views. Two walks on this mid wales break and not a single person seen on either! It’s an impressive cairn, it’s a silver Jubilee commemorative one, pretty cool. I haven’t done those hills next to Builth.. as you drive northbound on the A470 is that the prominent ridge line to the right of the town? If so yes I have wanted to walk that for years but haven’t got round to it. Thanks for the comment as always. Best wishes

We were only discussing Moelfryn and Gamallt on instagram recently Alan. It's a shame that things have gone so badly. Peace.
