I enjoyed that, Adam. I was up there myself, two weeks ago, on a longer walk from the Forest of Dean. As you say, The Kymin is not a big hill... But Jesus, the climb gets your heart racing!! 😅 I had similar experiences to your own, trying to cross that road just up from Monmouth. I'd hope to at least see a crossing island or a speed reduction. Many people must walk Offa's Dyke each year and that this risk. Thanks for sharing. Always looking out for your next.
@@WalksWithOlly Hi Olly great to hear from you mate has been ages! I must catch up with some of your videos, sorry been busy as always! That’s cool that you’ve been there too, that would be a long walk including the Forest of Dean but fair play to you I know very well that you pull some serious miles! It was surprisingly dangerous lol and o couldn’t believe the volume of traffic on such a minor road! It certainly is a short but steep hill! Hope you’re keeping well mate , best wishes Adam
@@andrewkingdom Thanks Andrew yeah it was a nice choice of short walk. I was also nice to look at the Black Mountains from afar rather than be sweating and panting up them for a change lol. Best wishes
Good walk Adam. I came from Redwood last time. Donlt you just love how the light plays in woodland like that - I can't get enough of it. It's glorious. Great views today - sometimes claggy up there. It's always nice to see your walks from outside in. A bugger about the river. Yeah, there's a path. Did you get back in time? Well, Maggie had another friend today. Good going. Mark
@@WyeExplorer Hi Mark great to hear from you. That must have been a lovely walk from Redwood, I wanted to do that but didn’t have the time. Yes the light through these Autumn canopies is really special I find it so peaceful and relaxing. Ha ha I knew you would know about the river path! I was a bit late but my wife was very understanding thankfully 😂 there was an extremely fast current in the river that day! Will have to revisit in dry conditions. Maggie is always making friends ha ha , she certainly enjoyed it up there. Thanks for the comment appreciate it. Hope you’re having a good weekend Adam
@@adamradford2285 Ah, some other time then Adam - Redwood. I agree the light and forest ios something else. They stop me still every time. Yeah, it's a good path usually Adam. So, you can walk it next time. Good to see Maggie - she's such a lovely dog. A pleasure as always.
