Hi Andy thanks for the comment! Glad you enjoyed it, definitely worth a visit , it’s a very quiet corner just dips in and out of the southeast tip of the Brecon Beacons. You hardly see a soul up there, lovely solitude. Thanks again mate. Best wishes
@@smoggiewalks578 Hi Martin, thanks for watching, it’s a nice trig up there and great sea views on a clear day, the moorland area is worth checking out too, especially the Devils Stones which you could do as a circular. You and Kay would enjoy it. ATB, Adam
Great start in the woodland Adam and along the back lane - nice and chilled. Not so on the hill though what with cattle that turned out to be horses. Still, it's a nice hill with fantastic views. Shame the bomber crew lost their lives on it but a good tribute. Enjoyed that one. Have a great rest of the week. Mark
@@WyeExplorer Thanks Mark was a nice local outing. You’re braver than me with the horses! I have been chased 3 times in the past, but I think it’s the dog they take objection too! The locals take a wreath up every year on 11th November, it’s a nice memorial to remember them. Our baby is due in 1 week so keeping local atm just in case. I look forward to our walk once all the baby stuff has settled 😅 enjoy your week too, thanks for watching. Best wishes Adam
@@adamradford2285 A pleasure Adam. Good to be local especially when the wife and baby need you - all the best with it all. Yeah, has to be the dog - try it solo and see. The memorial after all these years is touching and long may it continue. See you on a walk one day. Have a great rest of the week.
Nice one Adam, that was a blustery old day by the looks.. great views of the Usk Valley towards the Blacks at 12:00 , proper moody day. I am not so bad with horses but very wary of the old cattle - last year after a wild camp in the Blacks I came across a herrd and had already spotted a heffer eyeing us from a distance. I had to hop over a wall to avoid it. I have never been the memorial- will have to extend my walk next time I am in Lasgarn and go search it out. Nice touch by you. I did a similar thing last year whilst out in a woodland on Nov 11th. Speak soon. atb Alan
@@thevalleywalker Hi Alan , hope you’re well, thanks for watching. Yes it’s a lovely view of the black mountains from the final cairn, you can also walk up there through forest from Goytre Wharf which is beautiful too. It was certainly windy and moody, it was freezing lol. I certainly got a first taste of winter walking! Bring back the summer please! The memorial is worth a visit, the locals every year lay a wreath up there on the 11th. Nice they are remembered. Best wishes, Adam
Some impressive views from the top again. Shropshire is very good for stuff like this - particularly Pole Bank (if you have the stamina to handle the ascent out of Church Stretton!)
@@therealjamesbaker9138 Hi James thanks for the comment. I have wanted to visit the Shropshire hills , church Stretton does look beautiful and some cool places to walk there. I must get round to it sometime , Appreciate you watching, thanks a lot.
@@adamradford2285 If you're based in the Welsh borders it's driveable - there are also trains from Newport, Pontypool or Abergavenny heading towards North Wales (or Manchester) - most of which stop at Church Stretton. Suggest that might make a good video in future when you get round to it. Have a great weekend
Excellent walk looks really interesting so I will have to explore that area cheers Andy

Nice one Adam, another area I need to visit and trigpoint to cross off. ATB Martin
