What a great walk! The Craig y Cilau ridge seems like a beautiful spot with amazing views of the Brecon Beacons. It must have been nice having the trail all to yourself. Thanks for sharing! 🌄😍

Thanks Adam what a cracking route and excellent views I will have to do it. I have been up there before think I walked from my car parked on the B road that runs across the top of that area but your route is much better ascending from the village ten out of ten cheers mate ATB Andy

Hi Adam, really enjoyed this video as we often go up Brecon and did recently filmed a wild camp video there next to the crashed bomber which is soon to come out. Cracking video and very informative! Fair play to the t-shirt in November too haha. New sub from us!

I would definitely recommend this one if you haven’t done it yet and this route was the best of the available options. I’ll check out the wild camp at the bomber site sounds great, look forward to checking out some of your videos, nice to meet like minded people! Best wishes, Adam

Hi Adam, hope this comment gets through - I have already commented once but it seems it has disappeared. I have spent a fair bit of time over Craig y Cilau the last few months - the ancient hillfort video is from there. I have never done the pull from Llangattock as where I live it is easier to access from the moors. Great views from the ridge although I have not been on the top for a few years... its a great place for inversions to watch the usk valley fill up. Another good watch atb Al

@@thevalleywalker Hi Alan all good got the comment lol, thanks for watching. Ah yes I remember your hill fort walk from there, I’ll rewatch that actually having been there. Yes I’ve previously only accessed through the moors but never done the ridge at the top. That’s great to hear it’s a good sport to see inversions In the Usk valley, makes sense! I’ll head there if there’s a potential forecast for one! Best wishes

It's an incredible place Adam - walked by there in 2010 with Paul coming from Brynmawr to Llangatock. We said then it would be an amazing walk. Never been back since but I reckon you've persuaded me with your filming. You took some great shots and I could hear the appreciation in your voice. Great stuff. Mark

@@WyeExplorer Hi Mark thanks for the comment! That’s a long time ago you were there with Paul, wow and a decent walk that from Brynmawr to Llangattock. You would definitely enjoy it , there is also a contouring path beneath the crags and some cool woodland to explore so I think I will be doing a revisit too sometime. I certainly appreciated the views thanks , I was also down to a tee shirt in November on the tops which was remarkable! Best wishes, Adam

@ Hi Mark, Malvern sounded good, beautiful part of the UK. I did most of my training in Worcester so I know the northern part of the Malvern’s ridge really well. But I haven’t explored the quieter Herefordshire/ Southern part before , it’s on the list. My Son was born yesterday so been bit of a hectic time, seen your latest upload , look forward to watching that between the tears and milk feeds lol. Best wishes, Adam

Really enjoyed your video and have subscribed. I’ve just started out making RUclips videos, so a novice. Mainly focusing on the Peak District. I’ve never managed to get to the Brecon Beacons, only walked in north Wales. It looks stunning. You’ve inspired me to go and explore it. Well done. Looking forward to watching some of your previous videos. 👍🏻

@@HikesnBikes Hi thanks a lot for the comment , much appreciated! I have subscribed back so look forward to watching some walks from the Peaks and beyond. North Wales is awesome love it there but the Beacons has its own unique pull. There’s endless walks from the Beacons National park on my channel especially the less touristy parts. I’m trying eventually to complete every named OS map summit in the Brecon Beacons but there’s hundreds going to take years! Thanks again , best wishes, Adam

@ Hi Simon , thanks yeah I know how you feel! Well the Brecon Beacons is ideal for this. Most of the tourists flock to Pen y Fan , Skirrid or Sugar Loaf only which leaves huge areas of the National park almost deserted especially on a term time week day! It’s fantastic you can often walk for hours not seeing a single person. On this video I saw 0 people in 4 hour walk. Cheers Simon catch you soon
