Thank you for testing and sharing this! I’ve been using E-CLOTH products for years, and always wondered whether or not the claims were true. For this reason, other than on glass and mirrors, I always use a cleaning product with them. I do have the mop; and can email you the dimensions if you’re still considering testing it.

I am glad to find your channel. I'm a germaphobe, so anything that talks about bacteria interests me, especially when it comes to my home. I'm also not a big fan of microfiber cloths, but a while ago I found some cheap ones similar to cotton and decided to try them. It turns out that now I don't want anything else to clean the surfaces than those cloths, but those one in particular, not just anyone, because not only does the dirt come off well when the cloth is washed (no rubbish gets stuck) but it leaves the surfaces almost dry. I think sometimes it's a matter of luck to get the right product. Although what pleases me may not please others. As for cloths that remove bacteria, just with water, honestly I didn't even need to test them, you can tell straight away that it's bullshit ;) I wash my cloth with soap everytime after use and hang it in the sink. I change it every week, wash the used one with soap and put it in bleach for half an hour, rinse well with clean water and once dry, iron it and store it. So far I haven't found a better way to kill bacteria than bleach, but I'll watch all your videos, I'm curious.

Ugh- have given both the clothes and mop to four different brides at their showers over the few years (it was on their wish list) I would have picked something else off the registry

Thank you so much for this information! I bought ecloth once due to an influencer convincing her viewers to do so. I agree, microfibre is weird. Just stick to cotton and use the appropriate cleaning solution with it. Stay away from marketers that make such outlandish claims!

Yes. Cotton cloths every time. Can be easily boiled or bleached and can be composted at the end of life. 😊👍

I have the e cloth kitchen wiz and also the kitchen cleaning cloth with the little scrubby on the corner. Not sure I really believed the claims made but just liked the way they felt. Any bacteria tests I’ve seen with similar cloths, eg norwex, do the clean chicken juice removal from the kitchen bench. So slap some chicken on the bench, then wipe bench with cloth then test. As for the polishing cloth that supposed to be used to wipe a mirror/window, stove top or chrome tap fitting to create a streak free shine after using the general cleaning cloths. I don’t feel so guilty now when I’ve used them with product I’ve purchased before. Thanks for all your hard work, really enjoy your channel. Regards Lesley.

I hate that this company is getting away with essentially making fraudulent and confusing claims about their products. I do wonder if using the two clothes back to back in the way the instructions provided describe would make a difference. But even then it would contradict the claims on their website.

I like to ask the sick person to try to stay in their room or bathroom as much as possible, I wear a mask around them when taking care of them, and I like to run 2 air purifiers (which I run year round). Once a day I wipe all commonly touched surfaces down with chlorox wipes. If it’s my husband, I sleep in a different room for about 5-7 days or until he’s not coughing during the night as well as use a separate bathroom. So far, since 2020, I’ve only gotten sick once from my college age son when I drove him home from college when he was sick and I wasn’t wearing a mask. All other illnesses and I’ve stayed well! It really does work to separate the sick person as much as possible, wear a mask around them, and wipe down common surfaces. You are obviously well prepared! I like those throw up bags! I have one we got from the hospital in my car glove box, just in case. My mom used to line a trash can with a plastic bag and put it next to our beds when I was a kid, and that’s what I’ve done, too.

I wonder if I can add a drop of essential oil to the solution?

That definitely looks like a back & neck killer! But I’m sure your machine is super clean! Have to tried the sponge daddy? It cleans amazingly well without scratching!!! I love it on my glass shower door!

Can you do a video of cedar oil mixed in castile soap? Trying to see what concentration to kill bacteria. It might be too much work for a video lol

I’ve watched a few videos on RUclips and saw them adding the laundry sanitizer to the bleach compartment because they were also adding Downy Rinse and Refresh. Wouldn’t that dispense the sanitizer too soon and basically make it not work properly? Really enjoyed your video!

I appreciate the comments on products that are good with the scent not lingering, I'm also sensitive to that.

Another good reason to avoid vinegar is that it's acidic and could damage internal washing machine seals. The seals are designed to handle highly basic solutions like bleach. I do wish that in the conclusion you named your top 3 products that do work instead to direct us to those videos.

This is phenomenally useful, and very thoughtful to test both modes of use and noting your machine's rinse time. Just need to wipe down your drier drum with bleach next time!

Trying to remember from your old videos - what’s the thing that removes the most bacteria from kitchen sink DRAIN? DIsh soap + Alcohol? I remember peroxide for the toilet!! Spray bottles from the dollar tree are handy!
