In this video I tested various stain remover products including: Tide Rescue, Spray n' Wash, Oxi Max Force, Shout, Shout Advanced Gel, and Bleach. I tested them against the following stains: coffee, turmeric, ketchup, grease, grass & dirt.
Here is a link to the first video where I stained the shirts and tested various laundry detergents:

It must have taken long time to prepare everything, and I loved the summary table at the end! Thanks!
Yes some tests take more work than others! I appreciate your support! Thanks for watching
Thank you for making these videos! They are a big help to me in deciding what products I want to try. I have issues with strong smells giving me headaches. My friend worked at a dry cleaners for years. She said that for grease stains they used the blue Dawn dish soap and for protein stains they used peroxide. I’ve used both and generally let them soak on the stain 15 - 30 minutes before washing. They work really well. I have also used Dreft spray stain treatment on lots of different stains and it works great too.
I am glad my videos help you! Thanks for the info about removing those types of stains! I will add to my list of things to test!
Thanks for trying these out
You are welcome! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for all your efforts /product testing. Your tests are very helpful. I've been wanting to ask you to test various mouthwashes around your house, as potential cleaners, (even though that is not the way they are meant to be used, I'd still like to see how well they work, especially all around the bathroom). If you could test various store brands which are substitutes for Listerine products, (such as 'Up & Up brand Blue Mouthwash', etc.), that would be great!
Interesting... I will add that to my viewer suggestion list! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Super helpful! Thank you 👍 I'm going to try shout advanced.
Thanks for watching!!!
I used to use the oxi clean but I noticed that it bleached some of my colored clothes nothing too noticeable but still. However I don’t recall ever shaking the bottle so that could be a factor. I recently bought spray n wash and so far so good!
Good to know about the oxi clean! I was testing on white t-shirts so I didn't even think of it!
Thank you so much 😊
You are so welcome! I love conducting product testing! Thank you for watching!
Thank you
Hope you enjoyed it!
Always helpfull🔥🔥
Glad you find my videos helpful! Thanks for your support!
For Resistance Stains, Sounds Like That Soaking, Or Setting Time Is Imparitive....
Yes, I am not a stain expert, but there are lots of factors that can go into stain removal. Hoping to explore this some more!
I use regular Shout and let it set overnight. It works on our stains even on items which were washed and dried. Most of our stains are mine from cooking. Haha
Good to know!!!!!!!!!! Glad it works for you!
This was super interesting. Please consider my method, which is pre-treating stains with Persil (the stain fighter formula). I keep some in a condiment squirt bottle near my hampers and squirt on stains before they go into the hampers. On wash day, most stains wash right out. Thanks for this very useful comparison of stain removers.
Thanks for your thoughts!
I don't have babies anymore but I know baby formula and even breastmilk stains were difficult to get out. That might be an idea next time to try.
oh that would be a good one! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Thank you for this video. I had 4 pens explode on my Army uniforms😂
oh that is the worst! Thank you for watching!
I'm gonna try spray n wash for stain on my mattress.
Let me know how it works!
@@FieldOfFocus didn't do much but it was a old drink stain.
Stains that are set in can be soooooo hard to get out. I will test some other removers in my next round.. maybe something will stand out.
I want to make my own tide spray from tide liquid soap. Any suggestions on a recipe? I'm on a budget...❤
I am not sure. I have never made a DIY Tide spray. Maybe another viewer will be able to answer.
I am always looking for something that gets blood out of clothes. Thats probably hard to test. Can't really get a sample of blood at home when ever you need. My boyfriend gets random nose bleeds during the night usually if he gets to too hot . (Its very weird I haven't ever had a bloody nose in my life) I started buying black sheets because blood stains were ruining the lighter colored sheets. Also TMI I have heavy periods and always bleed through some pants or underwear. And hate having to throw them away. Its the hardest stain to get completely out. The best results have been soak in cold water immediately then use peroxide mixed with dawn dish soap with baking soda scrub with toothbrush then put it through laundry. If you get it right away it will remove stain completely the longer its set the harder to remove usually takes 2 washes if its not coming out I just throw it away. I would love a easy spray that work but unfortunately I have never had any luck with any of these sprays..
I love your tests so helpful.
Peroxide works well on blood. The 2nd thing I have heard (if it is a small amount of blood) is saliva coming from the same person. I know that sounds crazy, but I had to try it when I heard that one, and it worked.😂
@@carolkollar8239I’m trying this lol
I recommend ironing over the blood stain with hydrogen peroxide (there are videos on this). I tried it and it does work pretty well, better than anything else I’ve tried. Getting the stain out pre laundry is going to give the best results though. I tried it on a bed sheet that went through the dryer a few times and using the iron with peroxide got the stain out about 80-90% after going over it a few times with the peroxide. That was a really set in blood stain though, so I imagine it working even better if you didn’t put the item in the dryer beforehand.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I agree with the comments that hydrogen peroxide is the go to for blood stain removal. I will add this to my viewer suggestion list.. interesting test!
Hi, how about trying Clorox Scentiva disinfectant multi-surface cleaner Lavender & Jasmine?
Hi there! I will add that to my viewer suggestion list! Thanks for watching!
Why may I ask did u use different laundry soaps with them all? Why not one ?
Hi there! I think in the beginning of the video I explain that I have a previous video where I tested various laundry detergents and had stained shirts. So instead of wasting those shirts I used them in the stain remover test. Testing Laundry Detergents To See Which Can Remove These Tough Stains? ruclips.net/video/T1N6hHSbyCE/видео.html
@@FieldOfFocus Thank you for explaining. 😀
I use Dawn! Better than all those products.
Thanks for your thoughts!
