I just love your videos😊😊
Thank you so much for your support!!!
Oh nice! It's great to see that. What I really like about this type of Windex is that it claims to kill the common cold, which I have found not many cleaners tackle that! Thank you for the review!
You are welcome! Thank you for watching and commenting!
I would love you to review dishwasher detergents! I know that dishwashers all clean differently, but I would love to see a couple name brand ones (cascade, finish, Clorox) and a couple more natural ones (branch basics, Meyers, and a homemade one). Clean dishes are super important to me!
That is a great idea! I will add it to my viewer suggestion list!
I work for a small private school and this is my cleaner of choice. I'd love to see you test the CloroxPro EcoClean Disinfectant Spray. It also uses Lactic Acid as but at nearly doubled the concentrate. It claims to disinfect after 15 seconds compared to 10 from the Windex, yet claims to sanitize after 2 minutes versus 10 minutes from the Windex.
Hello! I will add the CloroxPro EcoClean to my viewer suggestion list! I have not used that product yet! Thank you for watching and for the suggestion!
From a logical POV, the bathroom sink test does not make sense. All other tests were conclusive, I don't see why/how the B. sink would have different bacteria or conditions. In situations like this where 3 of 4 tests seem to totally sanitize, would seem like a re-test might be in order.
Different products remove different types of bacteria. That is why some are considered bathroom cleaners or others kitchen cleaners, they target the bacteria that is more likely to be present in those areas. If you watch my other videos you will see that some products work well in the bathroom, some in the kitchen, some in both etc. So for this product, it was unable to target all of the bacteria in my bathroom sink, which is ok... it might not work on the particular bacteria present in a bathroom sink. It could be a mouth bacteria that wouldn't be present in a kitchen sink. Also, I do repeat tests and these results were representative of all testing I conducted for this product.
I really like these videos. they are very helpful and informative. What would I need to do this petrie dish test? I like to go to neighborhood bars and restaurants and take samples and if they come out bad for bars, restaurants in bathrooms and food areas, I'll show the managers my results and offer my company's cleaning, disinfecting and sanitation services.
Thank you for watching and commenting! I do not condone anyone conducting microbiology tests without proper training. If you have a concern about a bar or restaurant reach out to your health department.
Sounds like a good plan to increase business.
Got a slightly unusual request, but I'm curious to know how effective Benzoyl Peroxide (face cream or wash) is at killing bacteria. It's one of very few skin products that's safe, and is known for killing bacteria.
This is a super interesting idea, I will add it to my viewer suggestion list! Thank you for watching and commenting!!
I have watched I believe all your videos now. I am wondering if you could share what is the most important lesson you have learned from doing all of these tests? What if any changes in your cleaning routine or products you have made? I am trying to figure out a proper routine for “cleaning” my home. Do I just clean or should I be following with disinfectant. Are we over disinfecting our lives? I would really like to hear your thoughts.
WOW! Thanks for watching all of my videos!!! For me in my home, since I purchase so many products for this channel, I just use what I have purchased so I do not waste money or products. I do lean on cleaning with a cleaner first (like a Dr Bronner's or Mrs Meyers) to remove dirt and grime first, then use a disinfectant (lysol wipes, 7th generation wipes, purell spray, Force of Nature etc).. again I use what I have purchased so not to waste. Your level of disinfecting is up to you. I feel it is important to remove bacteria in the kitchen where we prep food that we eat, but the bathroom I am less concerned unless there is a stomach bug in my home. Every home has environmental bacteria that is part of our microbiome so I think it is an individual decision about how much to disinfect. Example, if you have a dog that has giardia and a crawling baby that is one level of disinfecting that would need more attention. Thank you for your support!
Thank you, what you said makes sense. I too think keeping things clean first is important and as your videos have showed that doing that also removes a lot of bacteria even though the product does not promote that. Then I think following with a disinfectant in high touch area’s or areas of high bacterial contamination and during times of high bacterial and viral contamination is a good thing. Lastly I think I will use products I have on hand then move to ones that are more natural. Seeing your videos and seeing how well they really work has been helpful.
Is there something that’s wiped out everything and is eco/health friendly?
I have tested so many products... have a look and see if something you are interested in has been tested. Thanks for watching!
