I bought Downy Rinse and Refresh free and clear since the other scents are way too strong for me. I like that it has a bitter and neutral smell, it is expensive though so it took me some time to decide if I wanted to buy it ❤

I just used it on some clothes that have a weird smell to them that I have washed and rewashed with different detergents with no help... but this decreased the weird smell. So I want to rewash them with it to see if it can get rid of it completely.

Nice video! The new Downy & Tide rinses seem to be geared towards hardwater. I see citric acid and a few other things used as water softeners are the main ingredients. Any blonde will tell you that you have to use hair packets made with citric acid and things because minerals build up. Hair smells nasty after chelating minerals or after a heavy buildup. Clothes are the same. I had to start buying liquid Calgon to strip minerals from fabric. Clothes and hair won't get clean no matter the washing with very hard water over time. I can smell the funk on some people in stores and know why they smell that way... it's like a musty, sweaty, stale odor.

If you can easily smell funk off of random people in public spaces, I doubt their lackluster laundry habits are the issue. I'm betting they don't bathe often enough nor wipe properly...if you know what I mean.

It's surprising you haven't tested Dettol on your channel.

Sorry to disappoint. Dettol is on my list however it is not in stores where I live. I don't think it is something that is stocked in the United States. I have occasionally seen it on Amazon, but it usually is a bit overpriced in my opinion.
