Hello all, I am a south indian from Rayalaseema. In general I use daily ragi. Especially in summer ragi with butter milk. Ragi roti, ragi malt, ragi ambali, ragi laddoo, ragi bellam garelu. Really it's awesome.
Ragi vupma, dosa, idli as well.
Sesame laddoo, sesame seeds in ragi roti, jawari roti, most of the curries sesame seeds powder.
Ragi roti with onions, coriander, carrot grate, jeera, sesame seeds is really delicious. I also use ragi powder in gunta ponganalu.
Ragi sankati, jowari sankati we call. We serve with chintakay pachadi which is really mouth watering.
Coming to vulvalu horse gram. We prepare rasam with that which is very healthy and good taste.
    Thanks for the video.
I already started this so long back. Continuing this.

Here is the summary and related questions:
Five calcium-rich vegetarian foods that have more calcium than milk: choona (edible lime), sesame seeds, kulthi dal (horsegram), ragi (finger millet), and rajgira (amaranth). These foods can help address calcium deficiency and improve bone health.
    Highlights:
00:33 Calcium is crucial for various bodily functions; its deficiency can lead to bone and teeth issues, fatigue, and other health problems. The body extracts calcium from bones when deficient, causing long-term issues and potential risks like arthritis and skin problems.
-Common signs of calcium deficiency include back pain, weak bones, teeth cavities, fatigue, and trouble sleeping. Ignoring calcium deficiency can lead to serious health issues like arthritis.
-Long-term calcium deficiency can result in the body extracting calcium from bones, causing them to weaken and potentially develop conditions like arthritis. Increasing calcium intake can improve symptoms like PMS.
-Reasons for calcium deficiency include inadequate calcium in the diet and poor absorption from calcium-rich foods. This is a prevalent issue in the Indian population despite a seemingly balanced diet.
02:30 Consuming calcium-rich foods may not be effective if the body fails to absorb it due to weak digestion or excessive consumption of tea, coffee, or sugary foods. Ayurveda recommends Choona as a powerful source of calcium that can effectively alleviate calcium deficiency symptoms within a short period.
-The importance of consuming calcium-rich foods effectively through proper absorption methods like adding Choona to curd for faster results.
-Understanding the significance of fats in aiding the absorption of calcium, emphasizing the inefficacy of popping calcium pills with water.
04:56 Sesame seeds are rich in calcium and other minerals, aiding in bone strength and pain relief. Including sesame seeds in the diet can benefit joint health and overall calcium intake.
-The importance of sesamin in sesame seeds for cartilage protection and joint health. Including sesame seeds in the diet can help reduce joint discomfort and improve mobility.
-The significance of incorporating sesame seeds with jaggery in winter for calcium supplementation. Traditional recipes like til gud laddoos contribute to bone strength.
-Exploring the benefits of Kulthi Dal as a rich source of calcium and its potential to act as a natural remedy for kidney and gallbladder stones. Kulthi Dal is a nutritious option to consider in the diet.
07:19 Including calcium-rich foods like kulthi dal and ragi in your diet can help prevent calcium deficiency, common in diets heavy in wheat and rice.
-Ragi, with significantly higher calcium content than wheat and rice, is a top choice for bone health and potassium-rich for normal blood pressure.
-Incorporating ragi into your diet can be done by making ragi roti, adding ragi flour to dosa and idli mixes, or preparing ragi malt for a nutritious boost.
-Another easy way to consume ragi is by making a quick ragi paste with water, salt, curd, and lemon juice as a calcium-rich smoothie for breakfast.
09:40 Rajgira, a nutritious grain often overlooked, is rich in calcium and all essential amino acids. Despite being more affordable and nutritious than Quinoa, it is underappreciated in Indian diets.
-Rajgira is a gluten-free grain with high protein and iron content, ideal for making chapatis and desserts like halwa.
-Incorporating rajgira, sesame seeds, and other calcium-rich foods can help prevent calcium deficiency and alleviate related symptoms.
-Choosing natural lip care products like Mamaearth's tinted lip balm, free of petroleum jelly and artificial ingredients, can help improve lip health.

    Namaste Bhaiya!🙏🏻
I watch every video of yours, and over the past two years, I've seen a drastic improvement in my lifestyle by adopting the small things you suggest.😊 Now, I practice yoga for my physical health and meditation for my mental well-being. I've also recommended changes to my family, like using rock salt, switching to natural products like natural toothpaste, reetha for natural shampoo, and adding different kinds of sprouts into our daily meals, etc... We’ve even started incorporating habits like not drinking water immediately after meals and taking a quick 10-minute walk after eating.
I wanted to share some feedback regarding the Greenworth Aloe Vera Gel you recommended for oily skin. I ordered it based on your recommendation, and I believe many others have done the same after watching your video. Due to the increased demand, it seems the company has changed the product's composition, adding chemicals that are now damaging the skin instead of moisturizing it. I discovered this after buying it, and many people in the comment section of that video are also mentioning this issue. Therefore, I kindly request you to make a new video on the best moisturizers for oily skin. Please consider this, bhaiya. I only trust your recommendations.🙏🏻
Your videos have been so influential that my parents and siblings now ask me every time you upload a video, "What did your Fittuber bhaiya say this time?"😁 I eagerly watch your videos and then share my insights with them. You truly are a gem, bhaiya.😍
My interest in Ayurveda has grown significantly because of your videos. I'm currently preparing for NEET 2025 and aspire to pursue a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) course. My dream is to make Ayurveda, our Indian traditional science, more popular globally.🤗 In our country, BAMS is often seen as a fallback option when one doesn’t get an MBBS seat,😔 but I aim to prove this wrong. My goal is to score the highest in NEET, and even if I get an MBBS seat, I will pursue BAMS to show that Ayurveda is just as capable, if not more so😤. When I achieve this, I will surely inform you, bhaiya, and make you proud. 🤗I want every Indian to take pride in being born in the land where Ayurveda originated.😍😍
You know, the reason why I am telling you all this is because I really, really admire you.🙏🏻 You are a true inspiration for me to promote Ayurveda.😇 This is my first comment on your channel. I usually wanted to comment but never did. However, I have subscribed to your channel and liked every video of yours. Till now, I haven’t even skipped a single video. I also recommended your channel to many of my friends and relatives. Whenever they mention facing some problems, I usually recommend solutions based on your videos.😁 I feel like I am already a student of BAMS because the knowledge you share is also in the BAMS syllabus. Books like Charak Samhita, which you reference, are part of the curriculum.
I would feel really happy if you read this comment from your little sister. Bhaiya, I know it's lengthy, but I could even write a whole essay for you just to feel close to you.🥰🥰 I really feel you as my bhaiya, like "anna" in Telugu, but I prefer calling you bhaiya more than anna. Hehe.😁
Thank you once again for your efforts in promoting Ayurveda and letting people know its importance. I will always root for you, bhaiya. 🤗I really hope to meet you one day. Ahh, I am literally in tears just imagining meeting my bhaiya.🥺 Take care, bhaiya.😊
    Lots of love,❤❤❤
    Vaishnavi from Hyderabad, Telangana.🥰

Absolutely right about Kulthi dal. 👏👏👏❤It is also called gaith ki dal in Uttarakhand. Uttrakhand people consume a lot of this daal and ragi aata ( also called choon ka atta in Uttarakhand).. We, Uttarakhndis make gaith ki daal ke paranthe with wheat flour and ragi flour in it and they are soooo delicious. My husband is from Rajasthan and he is crazy about these paranthas😁😁
