At first I was legitimately fooled into thinking this was another Fallout Game. That is impressive, phenomenal job, mods are now looking like official content.
It's insane how Bethesda can put out a mid tier Skyrim Mod and call it "Fallout London". It's got to be a joke at this point. Bethesda has to be purposely putting out games with terrible graphics and are simply seeing how long they can get away with it till their profits dip enough to actually do something about it.

You are going to have to train in a skill you don't use. Never mind you are a wizard. Skyrim was set up so just the more you use a skill, the more powerful it became, thus you didn't need to focus on things you were not using. Sadly they didn't realise there were exploits, but never patched them once they were discovered. Play the game without exploits, and it literally "just works". Use exploits and you rob yourself of hours of gameplay.

And it's free too (from what I hear). If Fallout was owned by Take 2 interactive, this project would've been cancelled halfway through due to the publishers being butthurt from jealousy that their lazy butts didn't get to develop it first and put a pricetag on it
Don't get me wrong, this is an amazing project, but I still think we should give credit where it's due and remember that this is a Fallout 4 mod, so they're already using Bethesda's existing game engine and many of their assets. Of course most triple A games are overpriced as hell, but they're still a lot of effort to develop, and there is a reason why you don't really see that many indie studios making massive open world games

I love the choice of "We'll Meet Again" for the trailer tune. It fits the retro style of the Fallout series, is a song that is uniquely tied into the British war effort of WWII, and was used to signify the nuclear war ending of Dr Strangelove. It's too perfect.

The way she sings it is the only way to truly capture the meaning and emotion of the lyrics and the time and mood they describe. The original Vera Lynn version would also perfectly fit the Fallout music vibe we are all familiar with too.

What’s crazy is it felt even more dangerous when I was a a teenager . in my 20s it mellowed out a bit but now it’s getting bad again. This seems like an amazing entry to the Fallout series. The setting, factions and dark humor fit perfectly with the past few games. The team behind this mod are exceptional developers.
I really hope that Bethesda will start financing this team for their mods. Not for DLC, Bethesda has strict rules about the Fallout official series to always be set in the US, but that doesnt mean they cant endorse the mods. They might never officially be canon, but they might also never be deemed not-canon.

I'm sure London has some shit areas and their Mayor is an asswipe, but from what I've seen in the 4 times I've been there, it's a lot cleaner, more prosperous and under control than Paris.

Easily the most organized team out of all massive expansion teams. The fact that this entirely brand new experience from start to finish set in an never explored place in fallout universe took 5 years when other teams take longer to remake already existing game says volumes on how good FOLON team truly was.
Not to be a hater, but Fallout The Frontier was worked on for roughly seven years and it turned out shite, now I have got hopes for this mod here but it remains to be seen whether or not it is another disappointment or a real banger

It would be awesome of this got its own "play" icon on Steam. Like for instance the total conversion mod "Enderal" for Skyrim, with achievements and everything.
yeah but on Steam even as a free conversion mod it's still a licence they can just revoke at any point at least on GOG you've definitely got it forever.
@The_Endless_Now rtfm. It's an installer that overwrites your fallout 4 folder, so it has to be an executable. Like the devs said way back, it's too big to act as a normal mod, and that's why it is hosted on Gog and not something like Nexus.
Finally got to playing today, and after 4ish hours I've got to say Your team have done amazing work, I haven't had so much fun playing fallout in so long The level design is absolutely beautiful and the voice acting is 10/10 So glad this wasn't a disappointment rather it exceeded my expectations

It sounds weird because the guy in the voice over has a northern English accent. He sounds like he's from Yorkshire or that kind of area. For fact fans, to be considered a Cockney, you have to be born within a small radius of Bow Church. You have to be born within the sound of the Bow Bells. I really hope this becomes a standalone release on Steam. This is basically Fallout 5 before the official Fallout 5 comes out.

What’s crazy is it felt even more dangerous when I was a a teenager . in my 20s it mellowed out a bit but now it’s getting bad again. More stabbing but less shootings , gangs seem to only target the rich and themselves nowadays due to social media , as a kid they had no internet or phones and would just try it with who ever . This seems like an amazing entry to the Fallout series. The setting, factions and dark humor fit perfectly with the past few games. The team behind this mod are exceptional developers.
I really hope that Bethesda will start financing this team for their mods. Not for DLC, Bethesda has strict rules about the Fallout official series to always be set in the US, but that doesnt mean they cant endorse the mods.
They might never officially be canon, but they might also never be deemed not-canon.

Easily the most organized team out of all massive expansion teams. The fact that this entirely brand new experience from start to finish set in an never explored place in fallout universe took 5 years when other teams take longer to remake already existing game says volumes on how good FOLON team truly was.

@The_Endless_Now rtfm. It's an installer that overwrites your fallout 4 folder, so it has to be an executable.
Like the devs said way back, it's too big to act as a normal mod, and that's why it is hosted on Gog and not something like Nexus.

Your team have done amazing work, I haven't had so much fun playing fallout in so long
The level design is absolutely beautiful and the voice acting is 10/10

Just to save you stress in the future theres a one-click downgrader out now that lets you revert to the pre next gen version :)

It sounds weird because the guy in the voice over has a northern English accent. He sounds like he's from Yorkshire or that kind of area. For fact fans, to be considered a Cockney, you have to be born within a small radius of Bow Church. You have to be born within the sound of the Bow Bells. If you can't hear the church bells where you were born, you're not a Cockney. And it's pronounced Bow as in bow tie not as in take a bow.

But I feel like there's too many guns in this mod, needs more shanking to sell the authentic experience.
Takes place 200 years in the future so I wouldn't really consider it relevant that guns are rare in current year.
It’s not 2024’s London and the timeline split happened too close to WW2 for the UK gun laws to even be a thought.
