Bethesda has to be purposely putting out games with terrible graphics and are simply seeing how long they can get away with it till their profits dip enough to actually do something about it.

You are going to have to train in a skill you don't use. Never mind you are a wizard. Skyrim was set up so just the more you use a skill, the more powerful it became, thus you didn't need to focus on things you were not using. Sadly they didn't realise there were exploits, but never patched them once they were discovered. Play the game without exploits, and it literally "just works". Use exploits and you rob yourself of hours of gameplay.

I love the choice of "We'll Meet Again" for the trailer tune. It fits the retro style of the Fallout series, is a song that is uniquely tied into the British war effort of WWII, and was used to signify the nuclear war ending of Dr Strangelove. It's too perfect.

I couldn't work out what was bizarre with the voiceover, until I realised it was the weird mix of someone with a Yorkshire accent trying to use Cockney rhyming slang - something typical of somewhere half way across the country!
If I can't be a Scotsman with a celtic runeblade, rifle leg, a wife able to take a whole horde of supermutants while running, and the capacity to swear as hard as a nuke bomb, then I'm not playing! More than 200 hours~
And it's free too (from what I hear). If Fallout was owned by Take 2 interactive, this project would've been cancelled halfway through due to the publishers being butthurt from jealousy that their lazy butts didn't get to develop it first and put a pricetag on it
Don't get me wrong, this is an amazing project, but I still think we should give credit where it's due and remember that this is a Fallout 4 mod, so they're already using Bethesda's existing game engine and many of their assets. Of course most triple A games are overpriced as hell, but they're still a lot of effort to develop, and there is a reason why you don't really see that many indie studios making massive open world games

This seems like an amazing entry to the Fallout series. The setting, factions and dark humor fit perfectly with the past few games. The team behind this mod are exceptional developers.
I really hope that Bethesda will start financing this team for their mods. Not for DLC, Bethesda has strict rules about the Fallout official series to always be set in the US, but that doesnt mean they cant endorse the mods. They might never officially be canon, but they might also never be deemed not-canon.

What’s crazy is it felt even more dangerous when I was a a teenager . in my 20s it mellowed out a bit but now it’s getting bad again. Easily the most organized team out of all massive expansion teams. The fact that this entirely brand new experience from start to finish set in an never explored place in fallout universe took 5 years when other teams take longer to remake already existing game says volumes on how good FOLON team truly was.
Not to be a hater, but Fallout The Frontier was worked on for roughly seven years and it turned out shite, now I have got hopes for this mod here but it remains to be seen whether or not it is another disappointment or a real banger

@The_Endless_Now rtfm. It's an installer that overwrites your fallout 4 folder, so it has to be an executable. Like the devs said way back, it's too big to act as a normal mod, and that's why it is hosted on Gog and not something like Nexus.

Finally got to playing today, and after 4ish hours I've got to say Your team have done amazing work, I haven't had so much fun playing fallout in so long The level design is absolutely beautiful and the voice acting is 10/10 So glad this wasn't a disappointment rather it exceeded my expectations

It sounds weird because the guy in the voice over has a northern English accent. He sounds like he's from Yorkshire or that kind of area. It's like someone from New York doing a voice over in a Valley Girl vocal fry. Other than that the trailer looks great. So much work has gone into this! For fact fans, to be considered a Cockney, you have to be born within a small radius of Bow Church. You have to be born within the sound of the Bow Bells. If you can't hear the church bells where you were born, you're not a Cockney. And it's pronounced Bow as in bow tie not as in take a bow. yeah, that was very offputting to me as a brit. it's like they wrote the script in (very ropey) cockney dialect and then the voice actor felt more comfortable doing something vaguely Northern (huddersfield-ish maybe? being generous) and it just doesn't fit with all the rhyming slang and other 1950s London terms. the rest of the mod looks like they've put so much work into it...but kinda feels like it's made by a team of americans who spent a long time on wikipedia.
Just from this trailer you can feel the amount of love and care that was put into this mod..I still haven't beaten 4, but I definitely think I'm gonna have to check this out.

I really hope this becomes a standalone release on Steam. This is basically Fallout 5 before the official Fallout 5 comes out.

Don't get me wrong, this is an amazing project, but I still think we should give credit where it's due and remember that this is a Fallout 4 mod, so they're already using Bethesda's existing game engine and many of their assets. Of course most triple A games are overpriced as hell, but they're still a lot of effort to develop, and there is a reason why you don't really see that many indie studios making massive open world games

This seems like an amazing entry to the Fallout series. The setting, factions and dark humor fit perfectly with the past few games. The team behind this mod are exceptional developers.
I really hope that Bethesda will start financing this team for their mods. Not for DLC, Bethesda has strict rules about the Fallout official series to always be set in the US, but that doesnt mean they cant endorse the mods.
They might never officially be canon, but they might also never be deemed not-canon.

Easily the most organized team out of all massive expansion teams. The fact that this entirely brand new experience from start to finish set in an never explored place in fallout universe took 5 years when other teams take longer to remake already existing game says volumes on how good FOLON team truly was.

Like the devs said way back, it's too big to act as a normal mod, and that's why it is hosted on Gog and not something like Nexus.

Finally got to playing today, and after 4ish hours I've got to say
Your team have done amazing work, I haven't had so much fun playing fallout in so long
The level design is absolutely beautiful and the voice acting is 10/10
So glad this wasn't a disappointment rather it exceeded my expectations
i understood half of those words and this is still one of the best trailers for a videogame/DLC I've seen in over a decade

It sounds weird because the guy in the voice over has a northern English accent. He sounds like he's from Yorkshire or that kind of area. For fact fans, to be considered a Cockney, you have to be born within a small radius of Bow Church. You have to be born within the sound of the Bow Bells. If you can't hear the church bells where you were born, you're not a Cockney. And it's pronounced Bow as in bow tie not as in take a bow.

Takes place 200 years in the future so I wouldn't really consider it relevant that guns are rare in current year.

it's like they wrote the script in (very ropey) cockney dialect and then the voice actor felt more comfortable doing something vaguely Northern (huddersfield-ish maybe? being generous) and it just doesn't fit with all the rhyming slang and other 1950s London terms.
the rest of the mod looks like they've put so much work into it...but kinda feels like it's made by a team of americans who spent a long time on wikipedia.
